Rain smiled at Jaize, and said a quiet "thank you" before taking her position back on the wall. Something was off about the girl, though she didn't know what it was. Kitty mumbled in her sleep, "Go somewhere else and talk." But it came out, 'bo tomare el alk. MEWL"

Hal stormed down the stairs and stomped through the hall, slamming Kitty's door open. He ignored the people gathered around her bed and chicked the container of stir fry at her. "Eat something healthy for once!" and stormed back out of the room.

Rain peeked inside the room when Kitty mumbled some nonsense. She spotted Santo. "Did you catch any of what she said?" She asked him. "And again.. Were you serious about tomorrow morning? Going with me to get my things back?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

(( just a note- Santo is not in Kitty's room. He is hanging out near the front door))

"No I didn't hear her, sorry," he said. "Of course I was serious. I don't mind helping you get your things. Wait isn't your birthday tomorrow or is it the day after?" he asking hoping she didn't want to go running about on her birthday. He really wanted to throw a party for her.

Kitty woke up to a box of food on her bed. She opened it and giggled, "Mexican restaurant food must not be healthy," She got up and got a fork from her silvers drawer, and started eating. "If you can hear me hal this is nice, thank you." She was sitting at a little corner table.

"Okay. Just checking. And yeah, it's tomorrow." She raised an eyebrow at him again, but now in a questioning look, and dropped it all together.

"Well then we can't take too long to pick up your things since I have a party planned for you," he said to her with a smile.

Rain relaxed against the wall. A party for her? How nice. "It won't take that long. The ride there and back will take about forty or so minutes at the maximum." She smiled back at him. She was beginning to like her stay here. Everyone was all nice and everything.. except for right now, Hal.

((actually it was afternoon and Santo, cove and jaize were going to eat buuuut i think the whole magical time speed up thing happened and its much later))

"Yeah, it shouldn't take that long. Another thing, Santo... Do you plan on staying in the car or coming inside his apartment with me?" She needed to be prepared for Jorge's explosive jealousness if he was going inside with her.

((just sad cause it would have been fun to go to lunch with everybody. Kinda makes me wonder what the hell Santo was doing all that time. Oh wells))

"Oh I just figured you would want me to come inside with you since you asked me to come," he said to her. Really though why come if he was going to sit in a car the entire time. Perhaps she just wanted company for the drive.

Hal fumed in his room...

Kitty put on her bumming clothes and went up to Hal's room. She lightly knocked on Hal's door, "I know you don't wanna see me right now, but I wanted to thank you, again." She sat down against the wall by the stairs.

Rain giggled. "You could come inside if you wanted. Jorge would get pissed off but hey, we wont be there for like overnight. I thought that maybe you wouldn't want to go inside. He would probably let us leave sooner than if you stayed in the car too. He's always trying to get me to go back..." Rain cut herself off. She looked at Santo and pushed up off the wall, going over to him and sitting down by his leg, poking it.

"Okay then I'll go inside with you. I really don't mind, " he said with his usual smile on his face. "Hey what you poking me for," he said in a fun voice and then he added, "I'm glad to see you doing better today."

((okay your not like going to save him in some dramatic scene at Jorge's are you?))

[[Lol no. I was going to have Jorge grumble around and throw her katana at her but thats it.]]

Rain looked up and saw his smile and blushed, looking down. She regained her composure and looked back up. "Yeah... I guess I really did need rest. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell I drank to make me like that. I don't get drunk like that. I think it's in French or something. Nothing that I speak anyways."

"Well I'm glad your sober and rested. Don't fret over it though. Happens to us all," he said being friendly.

Rain smiled at him, and then winked at him like he always did. She started laughing, and then let it die out. She was having way too much fun.

Hal slumped against the other side of the door. "I don't like to worry," He grumbled loud enough for it to reach Kitty. "I hate it! So stop making me do it!" He crossed his arms irately.

Jaize nodded to all those around and continued forward at a slow pace, slow enough to see Kitty wake and start going up the stairs to who knows where. She was about to call out to her when Kitty had reached Hal's door. Best not to bother them now.

A soft sigh, and the Naga found her way to her room. How empty it looked without more than furniture...she'd have to find a way to make money soon. A job, like she'd had before...

A flicker of magic shot through the air, her hands in a straight line darted out and pointed to am empty corner. She closed her eyes, imagining the cool earthy tones of her construction. Complete and total concentration would be required...and seeing how everyone else was already busy...she knew she'd finish at least this piece.

Swiftly, her hands parted, weaving in smooth curves the things outline. Beautiful. Magics pulsing off her fingertips in waves until a tattered brown lounge sofa appeared. Worn, but comfortable.

Jaize inhaled, and walked with humanoid legs to take a seat. A short plop, and she was down on the velvet like fabric of the sofa. "A little at a time," she muttered with a cocky smile, "I guess I'll just wait for Cove and Santo to finish...and then we can head out to lunch."
