Rain poked Santo's leg again, looking up at him. I wonder if he thinks of me any differently because of what happened when I got drunk. That would REALLY suck. She sighed and thought of other things to think about, like bunnies. What if Santo was a bunny? The thought made her start laughing and she rolled over, covering her mouth and started blushing, tears streaking down her face. Santo + Bunny = Total disaster.

Cove sat on the bottom of the stairs. His eyes were closed, his head resting against the step behind him. He sighed, wrapping his arms around his stomach. Maybe, I'll go curl up in my room for a bit. Shruging, he just stayed there, opening his eyes and staring upwards.

Santo's mind was drifting till Rain poked him again. "What's up?" he said to her.

Rain stopped laughing and looked up.
"Nothing. Just thinking about animals. Bunnies in particular.. And I'm just thinking about tomorrow. And how the hell I'll deal with Jorge and his extreme jealousy. He thinks that every single time I'm out with one of my friends I've got a new boyfriend or girlfriend. It's kind of irritating. But I guess if I tell him you don't like me like that and you're there yourself he won't be such a bitch to me." The last line slipped out before she could stop it and she blushed again and looked away.

Hal plopped down in his chair at his desk and looked over his project. He hadn't had the chance to do it today....He whipped out a pen and went to work...

Jaize sighed. This wasn't interesting in the least...perhaps she'd visit the room Kitty had been at previously. What's the harm? She wanted to see how she was and if she was there....

Before she even had the chance to think about it, she was standing in front of the door Kitty had been at when she'd seen her before. She lifted her pale fist and knocked, hoping she wasn't interrupting Kitty's conversation with the resident here. Or the resident for that matter.

"It's Jaize..." She said softly, likely no one on the other side would hear it. Why had she said it like that? So quietly...embarrassment more than not.

Hal prodded his temple, trying to think, THINK. This script was crap, really...what was the company thinking to publish something like this? Must have been one of those, contests...

Jaize had yet to hear any response...so she took it to mean Kitty and whoever else was there were busy or had left. Such a shame...

Jaize started to walk away from Hal's door with a heavy mask of disinterest. Everyone seemed to be doing...something. What was she to do?

She didn't make friends easily, and she refused to change herself just to suit everyone else....or did she? Isn't that how she'd found herself in her previous...relationship, if you'd call it that.

Kitty was soon sound asleep her body doing its natural thing.

Santo listened to her and said, "Well I don't want to intrude or get in the middle of something but if he tries to hurt you I won't allow it.

Several pages of nonsense later Hal threw down his pen and stretched.

Rain growled, "He won't hurt me. And you won't be in it if he tries anything. I doubt he will. He's so predictable." Rain cocked her head to one side and listened through the wall. "Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" he asked not knowing what she had heard.

((It's 11pm on the day kitty woke up there.))

Rain blinked. "Nothing. Nevermind. Must be my head." She'd heard SOMETHING. "Ah well. What do you want to do in the meantime?"

Cove sighed, looking down at the crumbled up letter in his hands. It was from his mother. Well, she was a bit old fashioned, especially when it came to disowning people. One of her friends, the mother of a childhood friend blabbed out his secret. He was going to call her, tell her he wanted to talk face-to-face. But she had underlined that he was dead to her.

Standing up zombie like, he pocketed the letter and walked out of the building. Cove sat on the steps out there, figuring sitting out there would make him feel somewhat better.
