Santo let out a laugh saying, "To true Kitty. I have perhaps a little too much pride in looking nice. No need to apologize it was my fault for just bursting into your room like that. Do forgive me for my lack of manners." Kitty then ran off and Santo hoped he had not embarrassed her too badly. He let out a sigh. It seemed that he was doing everything wrong as of late.

Santo headed outside and hoped in Rains car.

Rain looked over at Santo, and smiled. "Glad you could join me." She snapped on her seatbelt and slowly pulled out from her parking space. "So.. What would you like to talk about? Or do you want to turn on the radio? Just no Country, please.. I hate Country with a passion. It's not even a passion, it's stronger than that. I hate Country with.. a hate?" Rain bit her lip and stopped talking. She sounded like such an idiot. I really need to stop getting worked up over small things..

Kitty pulled cove into a hug, much like rangiku (sp) hugging Histugaia, "Cove are you ok?" She worried about the little one she found him to be the one most attached to home, and she was sure he just got kicked out.

Cove hugged her back, "They didn't even let me set onto their sidewalk." He sighed closing his eyes. "We got into a screaming match. Then I just left. My mom said I was dead to her." His voice held no emotion. "Its like...I know they get to me sometimes. But they...were my parents." He rested his head on her shoulder gently. "Do I just let them go, Kitty?"

"What ever you want is fine with me Rain. Power is yours, so to speak, since it is your car," he said to her. He let out a laugh at how passionately she did not like country music.

Kitty knelt down infront of him, "That is up to you, i'm sure you still love them thoroughly and though they, well you know, that doesn't mean they won't regret it one day, and it's always better to show you never held a grudge."

She stood and put a hand to her back, "come let's rest. If you want to i mean you could use it and i'm getting close to my breaking point, not only is it a cat thing, but i'm healing so my body is like sleep now then heal and look at the wounds when you wake up." She thought a moment, "I think I'll have hall take out the stitches on my back, later." She said absentmindedly.

"You're right." Cove sighed, "I've been trying to sleep since I got back. I'm tired..but not enough to sleep." He looked away and then back at her. "Maybe I should go for a walk or something? To tire myself out?" He rubbed his stomach a bit. "But either way...I'll come back to your room. Or you can come to my room?" Then he ran his hands down his face. "I don't know what to do at all...with anything."

[[It's just that it seems you never have anything to work with. I mean I understand not being able to type super fast and be everywhere at once, but sometimes it seems like I don't give you anything to work with. And seeing as the day's barely started, how should I know?]]

Rain heard his laugh and blushed. Was he laughing at her, or with her? She shook it off mentally and sighed, turning on the radio at the red light. "Ew. Miley Cyrus." She grimaced, reaching for the dial. Just then the light turned green and she had to move. "Shit.. Santo, you mind getting a CD or something? They're in that black CD case attached to the mirror." Rain turned onto the freeway - it was much quicker than taking the streets. There weren't a lot of people either, so she kicked it up to eighty miles per hour. "Sorry if the speed bothers you. I love going fast, and I hate driving slow."

[[Sorry if I came off bitchy. I'm in a TOTAL bad mood right now because my sister locked her keys in her car. But she doesn't have a car. AKA: She took my car and ran it around and got her keys locked in my car. She rode the bus back down to tell me about it, and we now find out someone stole it. Stole not only my car, but my CDs, backpack with everything in it, any extra clothes in there, and whatever else. I'm trying not to kill her right now. Really.]]

"Sure no problem," he said and pulled out a rock CD and slide it into the player. "No I don't mind the speed just so long as you are careful," he replied to her. "So this guy is all bark and no bite right?" he asked her wanting to get an idea of the situation.

Kitty nodded, "My room. I'll be reading, ok. I'd go with you but my body's starting to fight me."She opened up and wrapped an arm around Cove.

Rain smiled at his choice of CD. "I'm as careful as I can be. As far as Jorge.." Rain trailed off, and came back within five minutes. "Yeah.. He's a bastard and I'm sorry if he says anything. Knowing him he's going to call you a fag and metrosexual and whatnot, and then tell me, 'baby, why are you with this fag?' and then as soon as I say we're not together, he's going to say, 'you're such a bitch. A horrible liar. Why do you lie to me? I never did anything wrong' or something along those lines. The couple times he's had the balls to actually hit me he was so drunk and high that he couldn't even say his name. I'm glad we won't be there for long because last time I was on the verge of killing him," the last part slipped out before she had a chance to control her anger. He won't notice.. Nope. He noticed. Did he notice? As long as he doesn't ask me about it.. I hope I wasn't too harsh, but then again the truth won't always be sunshine and flowers.

Santo replied, "Well harsh words won't bother me at all. I don't like that he would be saying that to you but I don't want to cause more problems. I'll trust your judgement on this since you know the man. So are we grabbing a few boxes or did you just need a few things?" he asked. He didn't think much of her last comment since most people said they wished people were dead or they would just kill them.

"Yeah, you should really go rest." He moved to slip on his shoes, and closed his apartment door after he walked back out into the hallway. Cove stood back next to her. "You want me to walk you to your room?"

Rain shifted, knocking the speed down to sixty-five, since she saw police lights ahead, arresting a man on a motorcycle. "I called him again this morning and had him find all of my things and put them in a box. When we get in, don't take anything he offers you, just say you're not hungry, or that we're going to get something to eat after we leave." Once they were a reasonable distance from the police officer, she kicked it back up to seventy-five now.

Kitty nodded, leaning on the boy. "Yeah that'd be great." She yawned and cat stretched then went back to leaning on him.

Cove wrapped his arm around her waist, to keep her from falling just incase. He walked slowly towards the stairs. "Lemme know if I go to slow or fast for you."

"oh don't worry about that it makes me feel old," She was fine just slowly falling asleep.

"Okay, that's good to know. I have to ask though, why shouldn't I take anything from him?" he had a few ideas but he was curious to find out the real reason. Santo tried to look out the window as they drove so hopefully he could remember where some of the places were around here.

Rain pulled off the freeway after about five more minutes. Hearing Santo's question she replied as calmly as she could, "He gets so high at times he doesn't even know what he's on. He experimented some drugs together that didnt mix well in his soda that made him super sick. I don't want anything poisoning you or even getting you high." She took numerous turns and then: "We'll be there in a few minutes."

"Sounds like a fun dude, " he said sarcastically. "I don't want to seem rude Rain but how did you end up with a guy like that? You ladies need to take better care of yourselves. I guess though you moving is the start of that huh. No more bad guys k," he said meaning it. The people at the apartment were nice and deserved to be with nice people./

Rain gripped the steering wheel.
"He really was a nicer guy, like you, when we started out.. Caring, loving.. everything I wanted in a guy. And then something, clicked I guess. His friends were all pressuring him.. he held off for quite a while, I'll give him that. His friends spiked his drink and he started liking it. He became.. more distant. He went away for about a week, and came back shooting needles and snorting crack and that other bull. He wanted me to try it, but I just couldn't. He tried putting stuff my drink, but it was obvious that Sprite shouldn't fizzle crazily like that. I stayed with him because.. I couldn't leave him like that. I wanted the old Jorge back. But I'll never get that now, I know it for sure."
A tear rolled down her cheek, dropping onto her leg. She wiped it away, and stopped across the street from the apartments, finding a parking space. She undid her seatbelt and sat there for a moment, unable to move. "Now look at me. I'm nothing. I'm wanted in Japan for numerous reasons and I'm just not... I can't find anyone better. Not anyone who actually gives a crap about me. The closest I have to friends now are you guys, and I've barely met you guys! What a crappy ass birthday. Sometimes I wish I didn't exist." Rain muttered to herself, knowing Santo could hear but not caring. It would all come out anyways.

Santo said, "I'm sorry for what I said before Rain. I wish he hadn't of changed. Drugs and alcohol can really change people. Please forgive what I said before." Santo felt badly. He had embarrassed Kitty and now was making Rain cry.

He was a bit surprised at the being wanted part but who was he to judge someone's past. "Don't say that. We are really happy to have meet you Rain. I know right now your birthday isn't going so great but I promise after we get back to the apartments we are all going to try and make it a great one. You're a kind person and the world needs more of those," he said to her.
