Rain sat up, pulling the keys out of the ignition, checking herself in the mirror. "You don't need to be sorry. And as far as ME being a kind person? Let's just say me moving to Kitty's apartments is the start of that. If you want I'll tell you later, you and everyone else in Kitty's apartments. You'll all find out soon enough." She fixed the mirror and opened the door. "Time to face the devil. His room is right in front so we don't have far to go. 107 of the Garfield Apartments.." Rain trailed off and got out the car, and walked halfway into the street, waiting for Santo. "Come on.. Slow poke," She grinned at him.

"Well, do you wanna ride down the stairs on my back?" Cove motioned down the stairs to her. "I wouldn't want you to fall."

Not seeing anyone around, Hal slipped his rent under Kitty's door before hurrying out of the apartment.

He opened the front door and left.

Kitty shook her head, "You even dare to try," She looked taken aback, She shook her head again, "I'm going myself." She forced herself awake and walked down the stairs. She sighed, "I'm sorry cove, but you should know better." She was strange like that and expected everyone to understand her.

Why was it that every time Hal went to work, a Mochi always followed him home?

"Go away!"

"One date! Please!"

"NO!"

"Why not?"

"Because you won't shut up!"

"If I shut up will you go on a date with me?"

"Fine just SHUT UP-..."

"YES!"

"You spoke, it's off."

Moshi cried out in dismay. "NO no no no no! Starting now!" He pretended to zip his lips shut and smiled dopily after Hal still hanging 3 steps behind every one of the other man's.

Hal rubbed his eyes tiredly and finally entered the apartment building, slamming the door shut before Mochi could enter. The man opened it again hastily and scuttled up the stairs after him. "WHY are you still following me???" He demanded and Mochi gave him a wide, clearly in-love look that made Hal want to stab him...

((Finally people are on! Yes!! xD Might I ask, what time is it? And what is the weather like?))

Lacey cracked her knuckles loudly. She had just fell asleep for what it seemed like an hour. She lazily stretched and pulled on her usual attire and a sweater. She made her way slowly down onto the main floor. She rang the bell on Kitty's desk once and waited for a response.

((Does she even have a bell? If not, i'll edit my post))

Hal grabbed Mochi on the shoulder and tightened his other fist. "Screw off Mochi." He looked him right the eye, his own icy.

"I've promised you your date now leave me alone. You know where you can contact me so talk to me tomorrow and we'll set a time and place." He left the man on the staircase looking tired as he watched Hal go up the stairs.

Santo gave her a gentle smile and said, "Well we all have to start somewhere Rain. What matters now is who you are from this point onward." Santo followed Rain.

Rain nodded. "Yeah, I guess so... Hey, be prepared." Rain rung the doorbell and a few minutes later Jorge opened the door.

Jorge was around 5'11, with blue-green eyes and had dirty blond hair that was always in his face - he was constantly moving it out of the way. Today he had on a dark blue shirt that clung to his fairly muscled body, and black sweats with dirty white house slippers. "Hey babe! ...And hello your friend. Come in," Jorge moved out of the way, allowing them inside. "Don't call me that, you asshole. That's one of my friends Santo. Where'd you put my things?" Jorge pointed up the stairs. "Would you like to sit down? Want a water or something?"

Rain knew as soon as she left the room his hospitality would turn into anger, and he'd start yelling names at Santo. So she didn't. "You mind getting the box for me, Jorge? And my katana. I'm sure the box is heavier than I can carry." Rain batted her eyelids at him, smirking.

Santo walked with her and replied, "Okay, though a little verbal abuse won't harm me any." He gave her a wink to reassure her.

Santo looked the man called Jorge over and didn't think much. He would be polite though and said, "Hello." He wanted Rain bat her eyes and laughed in his mind. She was smart though to have Jorge get the things if at all possible.

Jorge stood there suprised, shocked. "Erm.. Okay," he said, and stomped upstairs. "Bastard." She muttered to herself. She took a seat on the couch, waiting for Jorge. "If you're hungry, we could stop on the way. Call Kitty and the others and see what they want?" Rain looked around the apartment. It still looked the same.

There were two floors to every apartment, upstairs there was two rooms plus a bathroom; downstairs, the kitchen the opposite from the door, the washer and dryer in a separate room along the east wall, and a closet and storage along the left. In the middle of the living room, on the same wall as the door, there was a TV and a couch set up, and infront of the door a few feet away, the stairs.

Santo kept his eyes on the man till he disappeared upstairs. It was always best to watch someone you didn't know especially if the other person could explode at any moment. He then turned to Rain smiling and said, "Yeah that would be a great idea since I slept in I haven't eaten yet."

Lacey tapped her foor impatiently,She strummed her fingers on the desk loudly, and finally muttered, "Oh the heck with it!" She rang the bell several more times, and pretty soon it seemed like an entire orchestra was playing. She started humming along merrily, feeling like there was nothing in the world that could stop her. Luckily not one single person was at the apartments at this moment, or at least not in hearing distance. She grinned solemly and kept tapping out the beat.

[[Sorry guys, my mom dragged me around everywhere.]]

Rain smiled back.

A few minutes later Jorge came down the stairs with a box as big as a medium TV. "You need help taking it to your car?" Rain frowned. "Sorry. I thought the box was bigger. Really. You were huffing over that light weight?" Rain walked over and grabbed the katana from his hand and placed it on the box, picking up the box effortlessly and smirking. "You never were that strong anyways."

She moved towards the door. "Santo, you mind getting the door? And thanks for my stuff back. This is probably the last time you'll hear from me since I'm deleting your number from my phone. Bye bye!"

Santo went and held the door open for her. He listened to them but did nothing to interfere. Luckily she had gotten her things and they were on their way out now.

Rain walked out to the car and opened the door with her foot after pressing the unlock button. She threw the box in the back and hopped in the car, waiting for Santo to put on his seatbelt before she took off.

[[I'm just assuming Santo got in the car when Rain did. :P]]

As they drove back he said, "Well that went rather smoothly. I'm glad he didn't blow up at you Rain." He looked at her and smiled saying, "Since it's your birthday you can decide were we eat." He wanted to lighten her mood and have her birthday start being something better.

Rain smiled. "Really, I'm glad he didn't. It was because one, we were there together. Had I went upstairs he would have blown up at you, and had you stayed in the car he would've got mad at me. He didn't want to yell at me in front of you, and vice versa.

"As far as food... Maybe you should pick. I know that there's a panda express two miles away and I wouldn't want to take another five to ten minutes going over there."

"Then I'm glad I came with you," he said to her. He was always glad to be helpful. In response to the food he said, "You should pick since you are the birthday girl." He smiled hoping she would pick something she liked. He did good with almost any food.

Rain gave a sigh and made a sharp turn off the freeway. She went through a couple streets and in a few minutes they were at Panda Express. This one actually had a drive-thru. "What do you want, Santo? It's on me."

Kitty got up and drug herself to the door, "I'm *yawn* sorry i'm healing leave a note." She was pissed now, and went to hide in her bed. She could feel her wounds healing. 'of course the one person who wouldn't know she came back bloody and and a hell of pain.'

Santo wished he could pay for them both but he did not want to push it. He looked at the menu and said, "I think I'll take a number five. Thank you Rain."

((I ate at Panda express like once years ago, have no clue what's on the menu, lol ))

Rain nodded and took their orders. She waited as the cars in front of them got their orders. Meanwhile she grabbed her wallet and pulled out a twenty, still waiting as a car in front of them had some problem with their order. "Really? Does it take that long? Sheesh..."

Santo said while they were waiting, "I hope you don't mind that we throw a little party for you. It's kind of nice to get everyone together for events like birthdays. We even got you some cake." He smiled at her hoping she would like the idea of the party.

Cove had followed her down now standing at the bottom on the stairs. "Yeah...I'm sorry, Kitty." He said and then walked out of the building. Looking around, he started walking towards the curb and crossed the street. His hands in his pockets, he decided to just go to the park and sit there for a bit.
