Yeah. I liked that play. I don't know why I never read it until I had to read it for college. I still want to see the actual play too. But I can't afford to go to Blackfriars Playhouse (American Shakespeare Center). And my dad is tired of taking me there. He's also not a going to see plays and go to see movies in the movie theaters type of guy.

When I first heard EA, I couldn't stand her at all. Then a couple of years later when I decided to give her a try again, I liked her. But my music taste had changed from the first time I gave her a try. So I've really only been a fan of hers for a little over a year now.

I read Hamlet twice before reading it for English this year as an assignment. I saw two versions of Hamlet on film. Its one of my favorites from Shakespeare.

I've been a fan of EA for three years and still going. At first, I only liked Gothic Lolita at first. I listened to some of her other songs but I didn't like them as much. A few month's later, I liked her other songs. <3

I've only seen the movie they made with Mel Gibson and Helena Bonham Carter in it and that was in my college class.

I want to say Shalott got me into Emilie Autumn. I honestly cannot remember. I just remember one of her songs popped up on the Last.fm player. Then I downloaded some music to try and then I ended up buying her music and The Opheliac Companion...which I still need to finish listening to...it's hard to get a chance to listen to it when you're in college. If I'm not doing something for a class, I normally want to listen to music, watch tv, or chill online...or sleep. Sleep is good. I miss my 12 hours of sleep...or attempting to get back to sleep. XD

Although, I had all my music on shuffle today on my way back from campus and one of the tracks from the companion came on. I was about to leave it on when I was like "this is not going to be over by the time I get home." So I just skipped it.

The Opheliac companion, what's exactly on it? Isn't it like the out takes of the album itself?

Shallot is my favorite song from her. <3 It just flows so nicely and the poem is really wonderful. Its actually one of her oldest songs. There's a video on youtube of her from 2003 singing that song. Its really awesome~

I believe I have watched that video. Wasn't it kind of poor quality vid? Some of the live stuff I can't even stand to watch or listen to because the music is so overpowering and just sounds horrible and hurts my ears.

Emilie (obviously) and InkyDust talk about each song that's on the album. Go into depth about the song and why it was written. I think the shortest one is around 30minutes and the longest around 2 hours? Might be wrong. There may be a longer one.

It was a pain downloading it when it first came out. It was taking hours just to download some of them (even on high speed broadband). Then some wouldn't download at all. Then most of them said they were done downloading but the were missing a chunk out of them. So then EA had them upload onto her site for us to download and the downloading went fast and smoothly. Got the whole album in about half hour. There was like a whole thread on the forum with basically all complaints. It was actually kind of fun to read. (I am basically a lurker on the forum...)

I've noticed that too in her live clips. D: I wish she made instrumentals to all her songs. It would be so much better. But oh well. I just love her shows because of all the awesome thing's she and the crumpets do. x3

For real? Wow. That's a lot of talking and explaining. But I'm sure its entertaining to hear. Is the companion only a download or do you get a copy? I like having actual EA stuff in my room. C:

It is a lot of talking. But from what I have listened to, it is entertaining. They even take tea breaks to go get more tea. And they will get off track.

And it is only available for download. Otherwise, you'd be paying through the roof for it. Probably 1 track per disc.

It is great...well...of what I have listened to. XD It's $15 I think. I pre-ordered it when it was $10. As you can tell, I pre-order it if it is cheaper. XD Gotta save money you know...for all the other stuff a muffin might need. Also, one needs gas money as well.

And yes, I'd say if you have the extra money, you should definitely get the companion. ^^

Only premium. I started out with putting regular in it because no one told me it took premium. I had problems with it for months until my dad found out it takes premium.

Yes, owning things is great! Provided one can afford them. XD I really wish I could afford a lot of the things she puts on her eBay.

I sooo wanted her dress and corset that she sold! Omg to beautiful. So expensive too. She's the reason why I want to be rich so I can buy all her products. I wouldn't wear them, but instead keep them safe and admire them. o 3o

Exactly! I'd buy them because they're beautiful. I wouldn't buy them to wear because, well, first of all, I wouldn't even fit in them. XD

I want to learn how to sew so I can make my own stuff. I really want to make my own corset. But that will take a while to learn how to do because I have to learn how to sew first. Plus, my mom can help me make it if I get impatient and want to make it now.

And the great thing is, I don't have to go buy fabric! WOO! It pays off when your mother used to do sutlery at Civil War (US) Reenactments and made hats and clothing. XD Although, she's currently getting rid of stuff and she's done sold some of it. The person who bought it hasn't come to get it yet but as put half the payment down so far. After she gets it, my mom finishes going through the rest of the stuff to get it out of the way, make a quilt for her boyfriend, she is then supposed to teach me how to sew. But it also sounds like she doesn't want to teach me. And I REFUSE to go get my grandmother to teach me.

I'm so glad I learned how to sew. Its amazing. Keeps me not bored.

My mom knows how to sew as well, so she helps me and makes sure I don't mess up~

I've been listening to her for a while now my favorite songs are face the wall and opheliac. I like her singing but i like the wailing electric violin and harpsichord more...it's just so epic awesome

I really just like her clothing style. And her wings are amazing and she makes them all herself. They fetured her on a craft show. The clip is on youtube and is really neat. Search "fairy wings"

I tried making wings from the video. Failed greatly. On her forum, other fans make their own wings and some of them are amazing.

Mhmm.. I absolutely love shallot :yes: her voice and skills and songs are all quite unique. Though to be honest, I think I lost most of my respect for her when I saw the pics of her where she is almost naked.. I don't know if they are recent or not, but I used to like her a lot more before that.. :(

Meh, the near nudity didn't really bother me.
I just see it as part of her Asylum character.
If you're in the Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls, you're going to behave differently for attention.
