You can probably get the jacket from an Army surplus store, and you can get matching pants secondhand for about $6. In fact... the coat my girl is wearing would be awesome for an England cosplay. I'll keep that in mind... >_>

The rest is just looking around for stuff. Accrue funding via savings if you're not saving for anything else big, and just have it with you when you're going around to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

I just want the uniform to fit me when I cosplay. I'm very small. :/

Its easier to tailor something to a small person than it is to tailor something to a big person. If something ends up being too big and you have time, you can put darts in it to take it in (common places being the shoulders and the waist.) Also, the military look seems to be coming back in fashion. You might have an easier time finding something that fits you from a retailer.

im buying a france outfit :D my friends already have their america, england and italy ones, and we are just chucking germany into some cargo pants and a white singlet and slicking her short wig back, that or we will find a random blonde guy we are friends with and force him...
hey wait... my boyfriend is almost blonde.... but not tall enough... Ah well! Will think of something!

I'm also concerned about the wig for England. :O His jacket, shoulder/waist belt and Wig will be there hardest parts of the outfit. The pants, dress shirt, tie and boots should be easily found.//

So far, we don't have anyone who's volunteered to be France or Germany... which makes me sorta sad. T.T

I have a pattern for the England military suit. My friend made it and it looks pretty awesome on her. :)

I am learning to sew also. I am almost done with military Poland. It looks kind of retarded..but it's my first outfit I sewn.

Also working on New SwissMiss , and Ukraine's official wear.

When you buy them made up... thats why i wished i could find a pattern so my gran could make one for me, but i cant so im just buying online

The Pattern we used for the England outfit.

This was the pattern used. It turned out great too. It's easy to make the belt for him too. You just need to watch out when making the collar since the instructions aren't so easy to follow when doing that. But we managed to figure it out so it's not too bad.

I would love to send you mine but my friend is still using this pattern for her Mountie!Canada cosplay, which has the same pattern as England's just different colours obviously. ^_^ I have no idea when she'll be finished since she hasn't started on it yet either. Sorry. OTL
