Hey there GD,

I am in need of some good, deep and wholesome conversation.

Just to get this out of the way, I do not want this to become a yell-fest. Debate, sure.
Don't get all up in ANYONE'S face for an opposing viewpoint.

So, someone give me something to talk about? What's been bugging you lately? What do you want to rant about? I'll listen and rant back! :'D Lets go GD!

Because they want to keep taking your money, of course. They let you in, so may as well keep you there! Plus, if they have a lot of people dropping classes, it makes them look bad. Good luck with your situation.

Aw honey. I'm so sorry. :c

I have a really terrible high school counselor, and it seems that it makes me wonder if it's just my awful luck or if all courses are hard to get in/out of.

What class are you in that you're trying to get out of? :c

Well, it's still probably a possibility to switch out of it! Just keep trying and trying! Make it your top priority. C:

Maybe it depends on the college? I was in a class that I really, really couldn't keep up with. All I had to do was write down the number, get a signature from the financial aid office and one from an adviser i didn't know, and give it to the registration lady. As long as I still had 12+ credits; she didn't care. :| So I'm sorry that they make it difficult on you.

It makes me mad when there's opportunities that teachers/counsellors should tell you about when you're in the freshman/sophomore years, but don't because they think you're too young. I mean, yeah. I get it. It's partly my fault for not finding out... but it's not like I could have found out anything about it if I didn't know it existed.

Like the SATs. D: Or the SSATs. Or the Olympiads. (Wow I'm a nerd, eh?) Work opportunities. :T

Sorry. Needed to get that out of my system. :D

I know how you feel, its hard to drop a class here in New Orleans too and don't even try to see your adviser.

We can withdraw from our classes easy, but here's the kicker:
They don't tell you the deadline when you can drop. Ever.

This seems to be more of a chat thread, so i'm going to move it along to the Menewsha Nations Forum. :)
