My apologies for posting in this forum, I didn't know where else it'd go.
I'm in class, so I don't have access to medicine, ice packs, or a shower. >< So, is there any way I can massage away a headache? I feel pressure in my nose, in between my eyes, ever since I woke up 2 hours ago, and it's making me see things kind of funny.. Any help?

The Info desk is more for questions related to Menewsha - so I'm going to push this on over to GD.

pinch the loose skin between your thumb and your index finger...supposedly there is a nerve there that can help elevate pain in your head.

Scrunch up your face super tight while taking a deep breath counting slowly to ten.
On the exhale, release the tension in your face.
It helps with my mirgranes.

Aw, headaches are the worst...
I've heard, but not yet tested, that if you try to hold a pencil between your teeth WITHOUT biting down, it'll automatically make you relax your jaw which relieves tension. You should give that a try.
Hope you feel better soon.

Along with what other people suggest, keep shovelling water down your gullet!
Dehydration is the main cause of a headache - keep yourself lubricated, and you can keep most symptoms at bay.

Do you have any access to water? I usually find I get headaches because I'm dehydrated. :)

Another method would be to massage your temples counter clockwise, slowly. Worked for me when asprin/advil/ibuprofen wouldn't work.

HOW would advil not work, woman?!? It was made by Jesus himself :( Haha I think you're the first person I know that doesn't get better right away from it.

I have to cycle through them weekly, the fourth being an off week where none of them work on me :< for whatever reason they lose effectiveness on me quickly. At least my pain tolerance is fairly high(save when I haven't slept well which is a lot more often recently ><) and I only need to use the stuff for light and or sound induced migraines and girl issues.

Naps always help me.
Other than that, if you can get your hands on some energy drinks, caffeine is a good, quick fix.

I suffered a head injury about a year and a half ago and now suffer from headaches quite often. I've found that the following things help even when medicine won't:
1: Drinking water(as mentioned above)
2: Try closing your eyes and softly rubbing the bridge of your nose. Sounds crazy, I know, but I swear it works for me(it does start to tickle though).
3: Rubbing your temples.
4: Consciously change your breathing for a little while. Breathe lightly and softly and in reverse from the "athletic" breathing status(in through your nose, out through your mouth. Breathe in through your mouth and out through your nose. This helps me often, too.
I hope I helped.

Take two tylenol with a glass of water, and lie down in your room with all the lights out and completely darkened with a wet warm wash cloth over your eyes and go to sleep for a little over and hour and when you wake up you should feel better unless you are having a migrane which is more serious.
