I was dating my best friend of 12 years and it was amazing. There was a stupid communication problem and it ended. We are to uncomfortable to talk about it but I have to admit.... even though I don't like to.... I love him.... What do you think?

Well... I did the I'm scared... I don't know if I can handle all the stress, I meant I needed him even more and he took it as I didn't want him... Then I didn't hear from him for months...

sorry to hear that have you communicated him now? sometimes we as women feel very stressed at one point and we say things we dont really mean and men well they take it to a whole different level. I hope ya work this out best of luck

Just sit down and tell him flat out everything. No sugar coating or beating around the bush. Tell him what you were going through and try to mend your friendship again before you work on the relationship part. It’s easier to start a relationship with your friend then someone you haven’t talked to in a while.

Thanks everyone. We have talked like small chat and I thought it went well. I don't know if he'll want me back tho. T.T I have loved him for 5 years and I know I'm only 18 and shouldn't think this but I can see a future with him... If he'd take me back... My one friend stalked to him and mentioned me and then told me the guy was uncomfortable... I am an idiot and may have lost the one person who understood me.

Just don't date friends.
I know they are comfortable and very aware of you, but it hardly ends in true love. It's hard to say, but not all guys want a relationship with their best friend.
