They're rivals however and cant pass by without noticing each other. the girl is warm. kind caring, mischievous and playful and has a musical voice, the guy is the opposite of that. Adrianna Rose and her best friend, Natali were on there way to school. Natali was talking about her latest boyfriend. As they went by the boys they wanted Adriana Rose's attention. She was wearing a silver top that accentuated her fair skin and a black knee length that showed off her legs. she had on 2 inch black spike heels that called attention to her legs. Her long silver hair bounced as she walked. Natali wore a similar outfit but the guys didnt pay attention to her. "I dont understand it Adri,"Natalie whined,"why do they pay you all the attention?" Adrianna looked at her best friend and smiled. "I dont get it either, Nates, but what can ya do?" she said a smile forming on her lips even though she saw her friend in a car accident. The two kept walking when Adriana felt a familiar presence oh god not him please not himshe thought bitterly.

Chase was leaning agest a tree that was close to the school. He had a beat up old poetry book in his hand was was completely unaware of what was going on around him. But he stoped in mid sentence when he felt her. He looked up and there she was, the most beautiufll girl ever. But yet he also hated her, she was what he always wanted to be and he also rivaled him at almost everything.

Adri's eyes locked with Chase's she saw him die of old age in a library. remebering his powers, she felt glad he wasnt touching her. But then again she hated the man with her whole body but loved him with her whole heart. I wonder what he's like in bed, is he dominant? or playful?she thought giving him a once over. Then when she realized who she was thinking about she felt disgusted.Oh god I did not just wonder what Chase would be like in bed.

Natali tilted her head playfully seeing her best friend spot her worst enemy. "Stop staring," Natali whispered and giggled. "Soon your tounge will fall out like a dog." she said and rolled her eyes. Her pink hair was in its natuaral curls instead of straight and her long off the sholder sweater shirt was practically a dress on her. She wore black boots that lwent past her knees and a loose chain belt with silver moons dangaling from it. She looked at Chase from under her eyelashes and couldn't help but sigh. It stunk having your best friend like the guy you had been crushing on forever... But Natali would never hurt her closest friend and tell her she liked chase too... It was unthinkable being selfish like that.

Adri turned and swatted at Natali! "I was not staring, you've gotta admit though Chase is hot." she whispered back. "Nates, do you like Chase?" Adri asked her black eyes twinkling playfully.

"Hot yes. But like him?! No! I would never!" Natali said playfully and nudged Adi's shoulder. "Besides Adi.... You like him. I could never do that. It's against friends code!" she said threading her arm threw Adi's and putting up her fingures in their little half heart sigh. It was a little joke they had about being heart breakers unless they were together and then they needed no boy. "Come on please?!" Natali said putting on her cute eyes for her best friend.

Adri smiled. "hey Nates, remember what we said when we were in middle school? Guys are whatever best friends are forever when it comes to the worst, my girls come first!" Adri checked her watch. "Come on we're gonna be late." She said pulling on Natali's arm. When they went by Chase, "you're going to be late poet" Adri said teasingly. She wanted to get under his skin.

Natali let herself be dragged by her friend and when they passed Chase she rolled her eyes. "Adi, that one wasn't the best comeback you've ever come up with..." Natali said and looked at Chase as she walked by. Being the little kid she was she stuck her tounge out at him and hurried with her best friend. "You know if I could think of combacks when we need them instead of hours later we'd be golden." she said and sweeper her wild windblown hair out of her face. "Slow down Adi! You're gonna break my arm!" Natali said. She was small compared to most girls. She was short and extremely thin. Though try as she might she could gain a freaking pound.

Adri stopped. "What do you mean that's not the best comeback?" her voice held her usual playful tone, "I thought it was good."

"I almost sounded like a complament to me." Natali said playfully and looked at her best friend. "Well it's better than what I came up with... I stuck out my tounge." she said and giggled.

Chase smirked when he saw the one girl stick her toung out at him but his mind was replaying what the other girl had said. Her voice was like magic and his mind instantly started to just replay those simple teasing words. He then closed his book and started to walk towards the school. I wonder if I can catch up to her he thought then shook his head, no he couldn't do that she was the sign of evil, pure evil and no matter how much his heart ached he wouldn't go to her.

"I hate science too, Nates." She said as she held her hand out to help Natali up. More importantly I hate where I sit. On the plus side I get to smell Chase's sexy cologne She thought with some amusement. Chase can you hear me? She asked in a curious tone. Her eyes doing a mental once over

Natali smiled and giggled. "Well you know Im the one who keeps you from being a sour puss all day." she said sticking her tounge out playfully at her friend. "Come on we have science.... Ugh... Mrs. Burn scares me... She's so old..." Natali said acting crippled. "Oh and don't forget the piles and piles of homework!! I'm mean seriously.... She's going to murder us with a landslid of homework!" Natali said loving to put on a show. She backed up into a guy and toppled over and feel on her butt. She looked up at Adri and laughed.

Adrianna held her hand out to Natali. "Natali, you klutz watch were you're going." She said smiling. "Did you even do the homework for science?" she asked hopefully.

Chase was just passing them when he saw Adis frined fall down. "nice fall." he said as he passed them and headed into science. He almsot had all the same classes with them and it sucked and yet it rocked.

Natali ignored Chase and accepted Adri's help. "Well.... Wait wait for it." she said getting up and digging threw her folders. "Ah ha!" she said pulling out a rumpled piece of paper. "I did it see?" she said happily beaming. She waved the paper in Adri's face happliy and skipped by Adri's side. "You know.... We're getting new lab partners today. I hope I'm with you! But knowing that old toad we'll be seperated for sure. She just hates me!" Natali said throwing up her hands as she walked.

Adrianna rolled her eyes. "She hates everyone, Nates. I'm copying that when we get to class. I'm gonna be partnered with Chase." She said with a sigh.

Chase smiled when he got into the class. The new partner paring was on the board and he was with Adriana. He just smirked slightly the on evil person who he hated and yet his heart ached to be with her when ever he got close to her. He sighed and took his new seat and waited for Adriana to come and sit next to him.

Natali smiled and nodded handing Adri the paper. "it's really easy... I can list the answers from the top of my head." she said. Natali had a photographic memory and if she thought about anything long enough she would remember whatever she had read or seen. She walked into class with Adri and looked at the board. "Oh my god, I knew it! You're paired with chase!" Natali hissed under her breath. Secretly inside she was down hearted. Nothing ever went in her direction. Adri was soo lucky and she hardly knew it.... It made her almost angry but she could never be mad at Adri. "I got Hayden.... He's deffiantly a cutie." she said trying to stay unbeaten and winked at Adri.

Adrianna saw the new pairings on the board and sighed. She was with Chase. Adrianna looked at Natali with a sad look in her eyes. Oh Natali, I'm so sorry. She thought sadly. She took Natali's paper and copied it down and handed it back to her. She looked for her table when she saw Chase smirked. She wanted to hit him. Why him? he drives me insane! i can't stand that arrogant attitude. I wanna hear his voice though. So badly. Adri thought defeated. She walked over and sat next to him. Loving the smell of his cologne.

Chase smiled at her when she sat down. "hey new partner, we are going to have a load of fun aren't we." he said as he looked at her. A huge stupid smile was on his face on purpose just to see if he would tick her off. He wanted to hear her voice and see her face and be close to her.

Simon then walked in and looked at the board. he was seated at the back of the calss room with some loser. He didn' tlike that and decided ot change it. He walked up and erased his name then put his name where Hayden name was since that would put him closer to Chase. He then ran to his seat which was next to a girl and smiled at her. "hey." he siad and smiled a charming and handsome smile.

Adrianna jumped. She wanted to rip that smile off Chase. "Hello Chase. And yes we are." She said in her musical voice. She looked at Chase with a warm smile just too see if it ticked him off. "You've got something in your ear." She said. She leaned over and blew in his ear playfully, her hair brushing his jaw."There all better." She said sweetly.
