Simon smiled and kissed her head, "yeah, I think this is the perfect place to stay for the night." he said as he kept Natali close.

Chase pulled Adri closer and kissed her head, "dont worry, I will protect you." he said as he looked at her.

Natali looked around and sivered. She rubbed her arms and then walked towards a closed down silently. She felt an odd presence comming from behind it and slowly walked. She then reached for the door handle and froze as pain exploaded within her. She shook and screamed. She fell crumpling like paper, to the floor. The door opened and out stepped the gang leader. He smiled evily and picked Natali up by her neck and chuckled. "You think I'm stupid do you Natali?" he growled and threw her to the ground.

"Natali!" Adri screamed.

IN less then a second Simon was inbetween the gang leader and her, his sword drawn. "if you dare touch her again I will not hesitate to kill you." he said and his glowed slightly. He glared at the man and wondered if he should kill him right there and then.

"Simon! Don't He'll kill you. He has a knife in his waist." Adrianna said weakly. All the emotions in the air overwhelmed her. She collapsed.

Chase caught her befor eshe landed on the ground and held her close.

I'm fine. You know how I get. Adrianna said softly.

Chase nodded and still held her close, okay and stay close, I dont want them to get you

The gang leader smiled and lifted an eyebrow. He chuckled and Natali got up slowly. She was shaking horribly and her eyes turned a bright yellow. The gang member behind the boss smiled and forced her to put a dagger at Simon's back. "Stand down." she whispered but her voice was not her own. The boss smiled and his pupils turned to slits as he found Simon's deepest painful memory and made him relive the car crash.

Simon stood there as he relived it, every singel pain staking moment. it was like a horror film but only one hundred times worse. But as he relived it he felt it, when he had gained his angel wings. He had gotten them after the crash and had actually died. But the angels had said there was someone for him and needed him. Natali. As he relived it he started to shine brighter and brigher, to the point it could blind someone.

Adriana shivered.

The boss growled and began to take the memory away and inflict his own pain on Simon. The guy controling Natali made her use her powers and darkness began to encircle her and Simon. It began wrapping around him and tears spilt down her cheeks. "Im so sorry..." she said in her own voice almost breaking his control but then going right back under. More guys appeared and pounched Chase sendig him to the ground and seized Adri.

Adrianna fought and punched.

Chase jumped to his feet and glared at them. "let her go." and right away it worked. He then took Adri into his arms and glared at the boss.

Simon felt the darkness, it felt like it was creeping inot his blood stream and slowly going ot attack his heart. When he heard her he smiled weakly, "dont be, I am your guardian and a lousy one at that." he said softly and then forced himself to look at her, "but dont let him make you something your not, your good, you have loving friends and your also capable of destroying him." he said and fel the darkness getting closer to his heart. It hurt like hell for a angel like him and he gasped in pain. "be yourself." he whispered and kissed her cheek.

Natali struggled as she fought in her mind. She screamed angerily breaking the hold for a second and threw the dagger. Her aim flew true and the dagger hit the gang member controling her and he fell dead. Natali shook and the darkness quickly receaded back into her. She then took in greatful breaths of air and shot darkness at the men after Adri. She was barely able to stand as they fell and she turned to the gang boss. "Youre going to die here." she said and before she could do anything he flicked his hand and she fell grasping at her shoulder. He smirked and dissappeared and Natali clawed at the dart in her shoulder. She pulled it out and her struggling began to slow and she shuddered the pain leaving her.

Simon smiled as he felt hte darkness recead but when he snapped out of it he saw Natali with a dart in her. He looked at her worryed and wrapped a arm around her. "you okay? did they hurt you?" he said as he looked at her and wished that he could have protected her better. But he was still trying to figure out what he could do.

Natali smiled weakly and sat up slowly. She gasped in pain and clutched at her shoulder. Pain ripped through her body and she clawed at her shoulder. She pulled away the shirt to reveal a black spot growing to the size of a quarter on her shoulder. She whimpered and gasped in pain and looked at Simon pain contorting her face.

Simon held her close and examined the black sport. He growled and then looked into her eyes. "this will probabaly hurt like hell but it will be gone." he said as he looked at her and placed his hand on the spot. LIght glowed around his hand and he gritted his teeth in pain. He needed to get that off of her and either onto him or make it comeplely gone.

Natali's eyes widened in pain and she screamed. She grabbed his hand and looked at him wildly. She dug her nails into his skin and then threw his hand away from her. Her breathing was ragged and her chest heaved as she tried to breath. She then curled up closing her eyes and kept a hand clutched over the spot. She didn't want him to try and get rid of it. Yeah it hurt but not as much as what he just did. She shuddered and darkness wrapped protectively around her.

Simon put his hands up, "sorry, just trying to help" he said and didn't try to touch her again. He then looked at his hand, he had taken some of the darkness. It swirled in the palm of his hand and it was very small. He quickly stuck his hands into his pocket and felt the pain of what he had done now.

"Its okay...." she whispered and looked at him. She felt horrible as she saw the scratches on his hand. She looked at her hands and quickly hid them seeing his blood on her hands. She paled and shuddered. She didn't want this. "Im sorry..... I'm sorry.... This is all my fault.... I'm sorry." she moaned softly. She wanted to die right about now. She hated feeling so small and weak. But it's exactly how she looked. Almost as small as a child, she looked small, fragile, and terribly frieghtened.

Adrianna smiled weakly. "I'll be fine." She put her hand on Chase's face

Simon then wrapped his one arm around her and pulled her close. "it is okay, it was my fault for doing that." he whispered to her and looked at her. He kept the one buried in his pocket and pain shot threw his hand.

Chase nodded and kissed her forhead.
