He got out, went around, and got her door. "Well, shall we?" He made sure she was following before heading inside.

It was small, only four tables and a counter. A young girl, maybe a little older then Marcus, was behind the counter. She smiled when she saw Marcus, but it faltered for just the breifest of moments when she saw Maria. "Hey, Marcus, how are you? Who's this?"

Marcus smiled, and waved slightly at the girl. "Hey, Anna, this is Maria. She just moved here from Romania." He motioned to Anna. "This is Anna Huff. She's the daughter of the people who own the place. We've been friends since she moved into town." She smiled, and nodded. "Nice to meet you, Maria."

"Same." Anna Maria said fighting the erge to Bow. Instead she nodded her head.

Anna smiled, a little more relaxed, and looked at Marcus again. "So, what can I get you two?" Marcus looked at Maria. "What would you like?"

"Umm, why don't we get a meduim and share?" Maria suggest with one of her dazzeling smiles. She enjoyed being with Marcus, he made her feel a little bit more alive. She blushed on the inside thinking about him, times like this she was glad she didn't have blood flowing through her face to show the blushing.

He smiled. "All right." He looked back at Anna. "One medium cheese, and a Root Beer." He looked at Maria. "Is cheese ok, and do you want anything to drink?" He watched her a moment, then couldn't help but smile. Something about her made him feel good, like he was seeing an old friend for the first time in a while every time he saw her.

"Diet Coke. Cheese is fine." She said sitting down. "So, You know about me and my dads work what about you? Who is Marcus?" She asked as Anna brought them there drinks.

He smiled and thanked Anna as she set down the drinks, then glanced at Maria again. "Who is Marcus, eh? Well, my dad is Henry Roland, the co-founder of 'Rockport Fish Exports' incorporated. That large ship just offshore, the S.S. Costal? He's its captain. He usually takes it out for a few weeks, then comes back for a while before heading out again. They have almost 32 fishing boats in their employment now. As for me, I don't intend to carry on my father's legacy. I'm not a big fan of the water, as it turns out. Sure, I like to swim, but that's about as far as I go. I figure I'll apply for a college somewhere and make my own way."

"Sounds fun, My father is a writer, he's currently writing A novel about a vampires. He's a silly man," Maria said with a small laugh. She was enjoying herself more then she thought she would.

Marcus smiled. "Oh, I love Vampires. Well, I like anything supernatural. Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Ghosts, so on." He sipped his Root Beer, then leaned back. "Maybe I could get a copy when it's done? Does he know what he's going to call it yet?"

"Dawn of our souls." She said then muttered, "Werewolves, rather nasty flea infested Pests." She added taking a sip.

Just then, Anna appeared with the Pizza. She set it down for them, as well as a pair of plates. "Enjoy, and let me know if you need anything else, ok?" She turned and headed off, humming a tune to herself as she went. Marcus picked up a slice and took a big bite before setting in on one of the plates and pulling some napkins from a table dispenser. He took a sip of his Root Beer, then smiled. "Ahh, that's good. I love this place, best Pizza in town."

Maira smiled and took a slice, she set it on her plate and began to eat it with the plastic knife and forks on the table. "Hmm, very good indead." She said taking a bite.

He smiled and sat back. He couldn't help but admit he was enjoying her company. He had some more pizza, and sipped at his root beer. "So, tell me a little more about yourself. What do you like, what was it like before you moved here, whatever. I'm intrested to get to know you."

"Well I like suspence, a little adventure, I'm alwas trying new things and always doing things that could most likely hurt someone. Back home was boring, same old things everyday. Woke up with the family, went out to catch a bite to eat, came home and read boring old books, then went back to bed. It's more fun here, now that mother isn't holding dad down." She said eating another little square of pizza.

He nodded, deciding not to ask about her mother. She seemed angry about her, and so best if he left that alone. "So, um, feel up for anything else after dinner? Maybe go walking around the peir? It's lovely around sunset, you know." He couldn't help but feel maybe that was a bit to romantic a spot for a first date, if this even was a first date, but he did love watching the sun set, and she was here with him.

"Sure, that sounds fun. I'm glad you asked me out, even if I did drop the hints." She said laughing her bell like laugh. She was enjoying watching him, she almost wanted to tell him what she really was just to see how he would react. "Marcus I'm a vampire." She imagined saying, she could picture his face, @[email protected] Then him running....Yeah I'll wait. She decided.

He laughed slightly, then had another slice. He looked her over. "I hope you'll forgive me if this is to personal a question, but, you look really young. How old are you?"

He clentched his teeth, knowing that question was a big no-no for any lady, especially one you liked.

Maria smiled and looked down. "I'm 17, I just look 13 due to a growth problem in my family, My dad is 48, and looks 20." Maria lied, really she was over 200, but THAT would have been a big clue as to what she really was. She was worried he would want to kiss her tonight, He would feel how hard her skin was, almost like marble...

He relaxed slightly. "Oh, I see. Hmm." He had another slice, and watched her for a minute. He couldn't think of anything to add.

"So, What else did you have planned for tonight?" She asked finishing her slice of pizza. She could only barly taste it so she only ate one.

He finished his soda, and pulled out his wallet. "Well, I thought we could walk down to the waterfront, maybe talk some more. If not, I'm up for anything if you have somewhere in mind where you want to go." He smiled as Anna came over and handed he handed her some money. "I know who much it is, Ann. Keep the change."

She smiled, and nodded, then smiled at Maria and headed back to the counter.

"Waterfront sounds fun." Maria said standing up and giggling as she noticed that she had gotten sauce on her shirt. "Whoops." She said grabbing a napkin and trying to get it off but failed. "Will you excuse me." She said then ran to the bathroom and cleaned it off in the sink then ran back out. "Okay, sorry about that."

When she got back, he had already put the leftovers in his car and was waiting for her.
"Shall we?" He asked, opening the door for her.

"Of course." Marie Smiled. She walked out the door and walked over to his car and got in. "How far from here is the Waterfront?" She asked.

He climbed in as well, pulling on his seatbelt. "Not to far. That's another reason I like this place."

He drove them a few blocks west, and stopped in a large, mostly empty parking lot. While there wasn't really a beach, the peir streached for quite a way. Several boats were along some of the peir areas, and out in the water, the large shape of his father's boat, the S.S. Costal, loomed. The sun's decent had darkened the boat, but the crew onboard hadn't turned on the decklights yet. They usually waited till the sun was down, since a lot of people complained if they turned them on to early. His dad had let that go. Even he had walked the peir at sunset, and it was small wonder even he would agree with the people over that.

Marcus parked his car and smiled. "Here we are." The bottom of the sun was already kissing the top of the water, giving it an orangish color.

((>.< Wow, I'm an idiot. This is what I get for doing this stuff by my terrible memory. I put us in Arkansaw, but the Ocean's not till Louisiana :XD. Well, I fixed that, so now we're in Rockport, Louisiana. Good thing I decided to figure out where on the map Rockport is, or I still wouldn't know otherwise. Anyway, just letting you know I edited the posts with Arkansaw in them and replaced it with Louisiana, and that's where we are now.))
