Jeff decided he'd stay behind and hold down the fort, so to speak. Julia sat on a rock while she watched everybody else. She was bored and tired and her nerves were still on end from dealing with those zombies. She wished she could figure out how to control this new power of hers. It would be nice to be able to defend herself. But as stated before, how could could flaming zombies be? Much worse, she was sure. Jeff came and sat down beside her.
"How are you holding up?" He asked her. Julia gave him half a smile.
"I'm fine, considering the circumstances. Besides this situation, I'm mostly depressed." She paused long enough to let out a long dramatic sigh. "I'm going to miss going to New York and seeing the show and going shopping. I'm stuck in zombie world when I could be back home packing."
"You are more worried about that than what your mother is thinking right now?"
"Oh she'll be fine. She'll think I'm out with you, which I am. so she wont worry."
The conversation went on about the same. Jeff and Julia talked about home while they waited for the 3 adventurers to return.

Chris peaked out from behind a tree. He saw only a couple wandering zombies. "There's only a few of them. We can take them out and go back in." He turned back and looked at the others. "How does that sound, think we can do it?"
Amelia nodded. "No sweat," she said as she pulled out her gun. Todd agreed. They decided they'd do it quite sneaky like. They moved around head stones like ninjas and shot out at the zombies before the creatures knew what hit them. One after another was shot in the face/head and fell back to the ground, never to get up again.
"Alright, we did it!" Amelia grinned. "Let's go get the others."
They returned victorious and let the others know. Then it was back to the beginning.
Jeff and Abby showed the how they got in then headed back down into the catacombs.

Jeff showed them the path they had taken and the different rooms they saw. "Maybe somebody is living down here?"

Abby went in front of Jeff as they walked. It was a couple of hours at least that they had been walking through the catacombs, finally they cam to the split that Abby had a bad feeling about earlier. the feeling had eased a bit yet it was still there. she stopped, being that she was the one in the lead everyone else had to stop as well. she knew that she should probably go the way that they didn't go before, yet she was afraid of what was that way. in the silence everyone stood quiet and let Abby think. the silence was broken after a minute by an alarm going off on Jeff's cell phone, announcing that it was dawn, causing everyone to jump at the sudden noise. Abby explained to everyone that this was the spot she had the bad feeling at, and they went in the opposite direction. she decided that now she might as well go in the direction that her feeling was telling her danger awaited, although the feeling was almost completely gone now there was still a reminance of danger in the air. she started down the path. after about another half hour or so of walking the catacomb opened up into a big, well lit room. It looked as if it was like a ballroom or something, looking around Abby was pulled to a set of stairs off to the left side of the room. she went up the stairs. at the top was a door, she opened it and walked in. realizing that where she was, was a modernized form of a mausolem she looked around. seeing another door she walked to it and opened it finding another set of stairs, less formal looking then the first. taking those stairs she lead the others up to an attic area, once inside the attic everyone stopped. in the center of the room there was an alter and a bunch of occult supplies. she turned to the others. "by the looks of this someone is responsable for the zombie problem here" she said. "I have read a bundh of books on the subject of raising the dead, and communication with them, all this occult stuff is meant to raise the dead. but who would do such a thing knowing that innocent people are dying, and why?"

Todd was shocked to see that they had actually figured out why the zombies were here. he applauded Abby for her good detective work, now they just had to figure out who was doing it and why. he heard Abby's stomach growl and realized that they all needed to eat. they would have enough time to go get something to eat at the diner and be back before whoever was responsable could make it here to raise the dead again. they all agreed that eating would be the best thing and they left. it was a shorter distance to the mausolem then the caves so they went back that way.

Alex smiled smuggly. "What did I tell you guys. I knew there was somebody here doing the dirty work. Gods curse my ass." She patted Abby on the back. "Good womanly instincts. I bet we would have never found this place with out you." Alex had been reading a book about necromancy; raising the dead, the same day that they had been taken to a new world. The book talked about voodoo, witchcraft, and other spells and also talked about godly powers, rituals, demons, pacts with hell, and all sorts of other ways a person may be able to raise the dead. As they walked she and Abby discussed the possibilities of what might be happening in that hidden room.
As soon as they made it to the dinner Alex was ready to pass out. All of them had been up all night dealing with this zombie situation. She wanted food and the to sleep till the end of the day. But they still had a job to do; figure out who was behind the zombies, and get that cup. Hopefully they could at least get a nap in.
"So," Chris said in a low voice. "Somebody in this town must be responsible for this. How are we going to find out who it is?"

The waitress came up with refils of everyone's drinks. smilling she asked if there was anything else she could get for them. when they told her that she was fine she walked off. Todd continued the conversation saying how they needed to catch the person in the act, and the only way to do that was to hid either somewhere in the tunnells, or in the room where the alter was sat up. but first they all needed so sleep, even if it meant not catching the culprit for another day. He knew they would eventually get them.

Amelia leaned back in her chair, completely exhausted. It had been a long night, but she was ready to curl up and sleep. Through half opened eyes she watched Chris. She couldn't hide it anymore, she had a crush on him. She knew Marcus wouldn't approve, so she wouldn't say anything. But she was hoping to share a room at the very least, with Chris. She needed that little bit of comfort. Tomorrow would be another long day, and she wanted to be ready. "I'm exhausted," She muttered. She didn't care that she was saying what everyone else already felt. But the mystery wasn't solved yet. They now had to find the culprit. Amelia wasn't looking forward to it.

"Let's go back to the hotel and sleep," Chris said. "We have all day to sleep and this evening we can formulate our plan. None of us are going to do any good if we are sleeping." Chris finished off his coke and stood up. He felt like he was having to lead at some points. While part of him really liked that another part of him just felt awkward. He'd never been in a role like this, but part of this adventure seemed like one huge video game and that was something he had tons of experience in.
The short walk to the hotel was horrible. Everybody was so tired they couldn't walk fast enough. They dragged their feet up the stairs. Alex stopped. "We only have one room and it only has two beds..." She stated. "Please tell me you got us more than one room." Todd explained that he had actually got another room. Everybody was going to have to share a bed he told them.
"In that case I pick Abby," Alex stated as she leached on to Abby's arm. Abby was the one she liked best.. Mostly because she was a girl. She figured the other girls had somebody they could sleep with. Amelia had her brother and Julia had her friend.

Julia grabbed Jeff as if she owned him and dragged him off to the bedroom where they were going to sleep. Jeff didn't care, he wanted sleep. Maybe he'd sleep better knowing he was with somebody he knew. Jeff kicked off his shoes and climbed into the bed. "Don't wake me up for anything," he mumbled to Julia. He buried his face in his pillow and passed out. Meanwhile Julia looked around to see who they were sharing a room with. She didn't want to sleep in her cloths. Hopefully they'd get something else to where. As she sat on the comfy bed she realized she wanted sleep more than a change of cloths. Her lids where heavy and she could barely keep her eyes open. She laid down and was sleeping soon after.

Abby wanted to sleep in the same room as jeff and julia because she felt safe with jeff nearby, alex didnt have a problem with that so they followed into the room. in the room Abby asked Alex which side of the bed she wanted. not caring herself she gave her the side she said and climbed in the other side. It wasn't long at all before Abby was asleep.

Todd looked around at the remaining people. there was Amelia, Marcus, and Chris left besides himself. him and chris would have to share a bed, and He wasn't quite sure he liked the idea of sleeping with another guy, he was afraid that this would happen and he requested a cot for one room. He told Chris that he would take the cot and that chris can have the bed. going into the room he fixed the cot up and layed down. fast asleep.

Abby woke up a few hours later before anyone else. she went to the bathroom and noticed a couple of bags hanging up. looking in the bags she realized that Todd must have gone shopping for some extra changes of clothes for everyone. she found a conservitive blouse and a nice pair of comfortable jeans that looked to be her size and decided to take a shower. when she got out of the shower she noticed that everyone else in the room was awake as well. "hey, I think Todd bought us all some new clothes" she said to them as she came out. they all took turns taking showers before going to see if everyone else was awake in the next room.

In the other room Todd was the last one to take a shower. he didn't care if the water was cold or not so he told the others to go ahead first. he was just coming out from taking his shower when Jeff, Julia, Alex and Abby walked into the room looking as if they were all cleaned as well. "so whats the plan everyone?" he asked looking around, hoping that someone else would have a plan

By now it was around dinner time; most people would be starting to cook dinner if not already eating. They had slept the day away, which was mostly what they planned. Now they had to make their way back to the hidden room down in the catacombs where they were going to have to set up some sort of trap to catch their perp. "Well, we need to go back to that room we found. We need to set up something to catch this necromancer, warlock, or what ever it is who is behind the zombie attacks. But first I think we need to find out who has this magic cup and set up a deal. That way we can insure that we receive the cup as reward. If they don't need the cup after the zombies are gone they will be more willing to give it up...I think a couple of us need to do that and the rest go back to the catacombs."
Alex nodded in total agreement. "That sounds like a plan. We just need to know what we are going to do once in the catacombs. We all can't hide in that room and jump out and yell 'GOTCHA!'"

Abby looked around, "why not?" she asked. if they had the person surrounded she didn't understand why jumping out and yelling 'gotcha' was such a bad idea... ((will post more after getting rusty to sleep))

"It's not a good idea because, how are we all going to fit into one place with out being spotted or over crowding ourself?" Jeff explained. "If there is one or two people in the room they can surprise them. If we post somebody outside the room we can stop who ever tries to run out. Buy splitting up, we have more ground covered."
"We can have two in the room and then two at each exit from the room. The exits will be covered," Julia said.
"Exactly. We need to catch them in the act. Just because somebody is there, doesn't mean that they have anything to do with it. They could be snooping just like us. So, we have to be careful and time it right. Since Alex and Abby seem to know most about this stuff they should be watching. That leaves 4 of us to guard the exits. The other 2 will be trying to get that cup for our reward. Sound good?"

Abby looked over at Jeff. Having people posted outside was kind of what she was thinking, she wasn't thinking of having everyone in the small room at one time that was rediculas, but she didn't say anything. she knew a lot about this sort of thing and what she didn't know maybe Alex did. so having them actually in the room and the others outside somewhere was a good Idea. "so who will be going to find out who has the cup then?" she asked wanting to know every detail there was to know.

Todd volunteered to go with to help find the cup and asked who else would like to go.

Julia volunteered to go. Going to the mayor (or whoever) to make a deal to get the cup was much safer than going back to the grave yard where there was sure to be more zombies. "I rather be away from zombies anyways," she said.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Chris asked. Julia smiled in reassurance.
"Todd seems experienced with this stuff. I'll take my chances with him," she told him then laughed.
"Well it looks like we are ready. We can come up with a more concrete plan on the way there," Jeff said.
Julia and Todd left the others and headed towards town center, where they found out the cup was being kept in a safe, in the head doctor's office, in the hospital. So, that's where they went.
The others managed to get a ride to the graveyard. Luckily, they made it before the zombies were summoned. So they were just in time to catch the show, and the perpetrator.

Alex and Abby hid in the room where the ritual/ summonings were supposed to happen. They were instructed not to harm who ever was in there unless they were attacked. Chris and Amelia hid down the hall in a room, once who ever it was behind this walked passed the room they would sneak up to the other room. Marcus and Jeff were behind two corners.
A woman walked down the halls and into the room where Alex and Abby waited quietly in shadows. The woman lit candles around an alter and started placing items in a bowl. She grabbed a cerimonial blade and started with her incantations.

Julia and Todd made their way to the hospital emergency entrance, where there were a few people waiting to be seen. They made their way to the desk where they talked to a nurse. They claimed they needed to see the head doctor and when she asked if either of them bitten they exchanged looks. "I am," said Julia. The nurse panicked and rushed them to the office of the doctor. "She has been bitten and must receive treatment," the nurse explained. The doctor motioned them and the nurse left.
With a sigh the doctor put down his documents and sat himself in his big comfy chair.
"You weren't bitten," the doctor accused.
"No, you are right; however, we are here to discuss your zombie problem."
"You have no idea how many people came here to say the same thing. Nothing can be done about them. It doesn't matter how many you kill, as long as there are bodies there will be zombies."
"Why not burn the bodies before you burry them?" Julia asked.
"We have recently started to do so, but we cannot just dig up graves and burn all the remains."
"I see. Well we have a more permanent solution," Julia said with a smile. "We know somebody is behind this, not your gods as claimed, and we right this minute friends of ours will be setting up a trap to catch who ever is behind this. Now, what we have came for is a negotiation."
"You want a reward for stopping the zombies I assume?"
"Your cup that is suppoesed to cure people of the sickness when they are bitten," Julia demanded. The doctor blanched, stood up, and turned around with his arms crossed.
"We cannot do that. What if there are more zombies? What if this person isn't really behind the zombies?"
Julia stood up and put her hands on the doctor's desk. "If we stay around for a few nights and no zombies show up and we turn in the perpetrator I think a cup that will then be useless would make a good reward. You wont be loosing anything but a useless trinket."
With a sigh the doctor pinched the bridge of his nose and turned back around. "Let's say you rid us of our zombie infestation and we give you the goblet. What are you going to do with it, if it is as useless as you claim?"
"Julia glanced at Todd. We're collectors, so to speak. We collect things of no value, yet unique all in their own."
"I see," the doctor passed. "You will stay a few nights after you capture the one responsible. When I know the zombies are gone and all patients have been treated for bites, then I will release the cup into your custody. That is my offer and I will not change my mind."
Julia nodded and stuck out her hand to be taken. "It's a deal," she said. The doctor nodded and shook her hand.

Jeff flagged down Marcus once the woman passed their hidding spot and they followed her down the hall and at good distance. It was only time now before Alex and Abby were to jump out and stop the person.. Not before gathering evidence. Jeff suggested they take his phone to record what was going on. Only because his phone was top notch, high quality and would catch everything on its mini camera even in the dim light.
Now all they waited for was for either Abby and Alex to give them the sign to charge in or wait for the woman to charge out of the room. She'd have nowhere to go. Jeff was pretty sure this plan was foolproof.
