Abby looked over to Alex, who had jeff's phone, as the familiar faced waitress lifted her shirt a little and lightly cut her stomach with the atheme. Alex nodded that she was indeed getting it on video with the camera. after a few incantations she decided that it was time to let the woman know that she had been caught. they had already decided to wait to tell her about the video just in case she tried something that would ruin it and therefor give them no evidance. Abby stepped out of the shadows. as she did a floorboard squeeked and the womans head jerked up. Looking at Abby the woman started to cry. "i'm Sorry" she said. "I never meant for anyone to get hurt. I just wanted my Bradly back." the woman sobbed. Abby then gave the signal for the others to come in. when they were all around her Jeff asked why she did what she did. she went into a story about how she was working late at the diner just a couple days before her wedding when her betroved Bradly got caught in a Robbery at the bamk that went bad. Bradly was barried on their wedding day and she wanted nothing more then to have him back. she did some reading and found out that she could raise the dead with the right spell. so she started trying different spells to try to get Bradly back with her, if only to say goodbye. Instead of Bradly coming back something seemed to always go wrong and zombies would appear instead and soon the town came up with the idea that they were cursed by the gods. Each night she came back just before sunset and did a different incantation in hopes that bradly would indeed come that night instead of the zombies. It never happened. so she told them that it didn't matter whether they told the town about what she was doing or not, she didn't need to be here to do the spells she just needed to know them and that no matter what she would continue doing it until she got to see Bradly once more. Alex was still recording from the shadows just in case. Abby looked sympathetically at the girl. she knew how it felt to lose someone you love. she also knew a thing or two about this sort of thing due to her extensive reading on the subject. "I'm going to try to help you contact your Bradly for one more time." Abby told her. "however I need your word that if you do get to see him one more time that you will stop trying to get him here and bringing the zombies. even if it is only for a couple minutes." after the girl gave abby her word and alex caught it on video Abby cleared the alter of anything that she might not need. then she asked the others in the room for silence while she concentrated and tried to remember a spell that she had read about that worked... at least in one of her favortie television shows. Abby then placed five candles in a loose circle on the floor, after lighting the candles she started to chant "Hear these words hear my cry Spirit from the other side Come to me I summon thee Cross now the Great Divide" after saying it about three times there was a white light in the center of the candles, and then a man formed where the light was.

Jeff was surprised when this chanting ended up showing some apparition. He stepped back and watched as the woman and the ghost-man spoke. After they some tears shed by the woman the man left. Jeff harrumph and stepped forward. "This still doesn't change the fact of what you have done. You have had people harmed and even killed because of your greed. I'm sorry, but we have to take you into custody and we will promptly drop you off at the police station along with the incriminating evidence of your crimes." Since they weren't police officers they weren't going to be walking around with a pair of hand-cuffs, but they had brought rope just in case she would resist. "Please come with us willingly and turn yourself in or I'll be forced to take you bound, kicking and screaming all the way there. The choice is yours." He waiting for her to respond.

The waitress looked at Jeff with a tear streaked face. she had gotten what she was wanting, she had gotten her goodbye, nothing would bring bradly back to her forever and she knew now that it was wrong to keep trying and to keep calling the zombies, she agreed to go easily. after paking up her ritual belongings she thanked them for letting her see her bradly one last time and then they left to go to the police station. it was just about sunrise when they stepped out into the chilly morning air. Walking down the path that lead to the entrance of the cemetary they saw Todd and Julia walking toward them. Todd explained that they would be able to get it in a couple of days if the zombies no longer appeared at all and that any victims had to be heald first. Alex explained that they were on their way to the police station to turn in the waitress and that it was all taken care of.
Four days later....
Todd walked out of the hospital holding an old chalice. it didn't look like there was anything special about it, But Todd knew differently. they all knew that this was the magical item that they had come here in search of. now that there were no more zombies the cup was all their's to take with them. Walking to the hotel Todd stopped to sell back all of the weapontry that he had bought when they first arrived and then went to meet the others at the hotel to leave.

Jeff was feeling a bit weird about Abby and her display of what he considered witchcraft. He didn't say much as they waited the few days to receive their reward. All they had to do now was contact their boss, which he did. Jeff was instructed to use the knife he was given to return them back to Todd's place where the rabbit awaited them. It took Jeff a few times to get it right, but after swinging the blade around finally a rift in space opened up. Once they all stepped in it closed behind them and the popped out exactly where they entered the previous world; in Todd's bedroom.
"I'm so glad to be away from that place," Julia said. "I really hope the next place we venture to isn't so horrible."

Rabbit was happy to see the group back with the goblet he had sent them to retrieve. It was placed on the table where he sat. He touched his nose to the cup and both it and the rabbit started to glow a strange blue. "Ah, that's one step closer to regaining my full power. Now the rest of the powers of the cup can go to one of you. It has the ability to heal."
"Heal what exactly?" Chris wondered. "All it cured before was zombie bites."
"Yes, while that was true for the world it belonged to, it isn't just so simple. If you decide to take on it's powers it will grant you the ability to heal wounds, and simple ailments."
Chris shrugged. That wasn't something he was interested it at all.
Alex stepped forward. "I'll take it. I'm not much of a fighter. I can do best with this power, I'm sure of it."
The rabbit nodded and pushed the goblet toward her. "Touch it to your forhead and close your eyes. I'll to the rest." Alex did as instructed. She picked up the goblet and placed it to her head. The cool feel of the cup against her warm flesh brought goosebumps. Before she knew it everything was over. She didn't feel anything odd or change.
"It is done." The rabbit seemed to smile.
Alex put the cup down and that was when she realized the cup had changed. It was now a rusty copper color.
"The relic has passed on its powers and is now rendered useless as far a magic items go. It'll make for a good wine cup," Rabbit spoke.
"Heh, yeah."
Rabbit then turned to Julia and Abby. "Have either of you been able to further develop your powers?"

Everyone turned their heads and looked at Abby. when rabbit looked over at her as well she kind of shied away as she spoke softly, "well I'm not sure if it is supposed to be part of my powers or not, but I kind of raised the dead" she said. Rabbit asked for details on this experience and they showed him the video that was still on Jeff's phone. everyone was silent for a few minutes as rabbit watched the video. after wards rabbit explained that in the world of the zombies, raising the dead might have been her power even though here her power was lighning. he then suggested that they try to experiment with their powers like they had practiced with the weapons in zombieland. they all agreed that was a good idea. rabbit spoke of a place hidden in the far woods on the oppisite side of the field they had all entered in, that would be a perfect safe spot for them to practice. Todd nodded, He knew of the place Rabbit spoke, as soon as they ate something and got a change of clothes, maybe even a shower they would head out to go to the place to practice.

Alex and Chris decided to stay behind as they had nothing to really do way out there. Neither of them showed any signs of powers so they didn't bother with going with the others. Alex didn't want to do anything but relax. She ended up laying down in the bed she had used the first time she was here and ended up falling asleep.
Meanwhile, Chris wondered around the house in the woods as he kicked rocks and sticks that scattered the ground.

Chris joined Julia and Abby (and whoever else that went) to the place where Rabbit told them to go. He was relieved to find out that Abby's ghost summoning had nothing to do with witchcraft. That sort of thing really wigged him out. The whole walk there he listened to Julia talk about her power and how she was bummed she hadn't been able to use it. She wondered how she would call forth the power again. Jeff suggested to act or feel exactly the same as she did when it first happened. She shrugged with a slight frown. She explained she was in to much of a good mood to feel depressed, as that was exactly how she was feeling when it first happened.
"Just think of something sad," Jeff said. "I'm sure that might help. Just don't catch the forest on fire." They continued walking and as they did he suddenly realized that it wasn't that great of an idea to be practicing this fire and lightning deal in a forest as the whole place could end up being fried.

Todd explained to everyone that the place they were going was in the woods yes but it wasn't what they were thinking, the sorrounding area was no where near in danger of catching fire or anything like that where they were going. the place was more like an arena deep in the woods that was protected by magic, only those who are new to the gift and need to practice it will be ablt to find it, Todd however, was no longer new to his gift, so he told them that he wouldn't be able to locate it for them, they had to use their own powers to find it, once found the door into the arena is protected by magic, so only those new to the gift may enter, or someone who is supposed to be helping them learn to use the gift. that is why it was so safe to practice there, because no one else would be able to even find it. Todd couldn't really think of an easier way to explain it, and he knew that he probably wasn't making any sense, but he was at a loss for words. he turned to the group. "so who would like to try to find the areana?" he asked them

Julia looked around at the others. Nobody seemed to want to volunteer, so she stepped forward and said she'd try.
"What am I supposed to feel?" she asked. "I can't even sense my own power, so how am I supposed to do this?" Chris could tell she was a bit frustrated. Only a few of them had shown they had potential. All of them were supposed to harbor some sort of magic, but Chris denied he had any power like that.
"Just relax Jules, don't get worked up."
Julia glared at him. "Easy for you to say, lets see you find this place," she said.
"Well, that's not going to happen. So, Todd how is she supposed to find this arena?"

Todd looked at them and smiled. he knew the secret to finding the arena was simple, she just had to follow her heart and go where it told her to go. directions/ turns, it didn't matter as long as she did this she would find the arena. after explaining this to them Julia turned and looked around. everyone stood quietly while julia turned in a slow circle with her eyes closed trying to figure out which way to go. then suddenely she looked up and said "I think it's this way" todd smiled "then after you" he said

Amelia trailed along behind everyone, thinking deeply about Chris. She was exhausted and grumpy, after the zombie ordeal, and all she wanted to do was to take a nice long bath and find a change of clothes, but at the same time, wanted to push herself to keep going. She couldn't deny that she had feelings for him anymore, and seeing how hard he had worked was attractive. She couldn't shake these thoughts, no matter how hard she tried. Perhaps it was her way of coping with all the zombies and the ghost she'd seen....
Amelia shuddered. She didn't want to think about the past anymore. It was scary, and she knew she'd had nightmares. Looking up, she turned to Marcus to ask him how he was holding up. He had barely spoken to anyone since they'd left the zombie world.
"I'm fine, honest." Marcus mumbled, without looking at her. She blinked in surprise. He looked up at her, his eyes glazed over from exhaustion. "Really, stop asking me. I'm fine. Just tired." He looked back down at the ground, focusing so hard on walking.
"How'd you know what I was going to ask?" Amelia was sure she hadn't spoken aloud.
"What do you mean, 'about to'?" Marcus looked back at his twin. "You did ask me, didn't you?"
"Not that I know of. I was thinking it, but I didn't say anything." Amelia stared at him, completely confused.
His jaw dropped. "I didn't...I mean, I don't.....but how..." Neither realized they'd stopped walking, which meant they were falling behind, unless the rest of the group had stopped to wait.
"You read my mind?" Amelia hissed. She wasn't sure why she was being quiet. Was Marcus developing magic of his own? What about her? Would she have magic powers?
"I don't know, to both questions." Marcus whispered. He closed his eyes, seemingly in pain. He opened them a second later, and focused his gaze on Amelia's. "I don't know what's going on, all I know is I suddenly don't feel very well." His face turned green, as if to confirm what he said. Amelia frowned and put her arm around her brother. "Sit down. I don't want you puking on my shoes. They're special ordered."

Abby, who was toward the end of the procession noticed that Marcus and Amelia were no longer with them, "hey" she called out to the others in front of here, "Marcus and Amelia stopped" she said. the others stopped and turned after hearing that they no longer had all of their crew with them. todd came up followed by Jeff and Julia. They all decided that it would be a good idea to go back and find the others. as they went back they saw Amelia helping Marcus to a nearby fallen tree to sit on. He didn't look to be feeling too well. Todd saw the magic dancing in his eyes and reconized it as strong power that had just been discovered. He walked over to them. "so i see you have found your power marcus" todd said reasuringly.

Marcus looked up, and groaned in response, closing his eyes. "This...magic...seems more like a curse than a blessing." He muttered.
"He can read minds." Amelia bragged, a large grin appearing on her face, as if she found the whole thing humorous. "Although since we're twins, shouldn't we be developing magic at the same time?" She looked back down at Marcus, concern washing over her expression. Kneeling down next to him, she put the back of her hand against his forehead. She frowned in confusion. "You don't have a fever." Irritated, Marcus pushed her hand away.
"Stop that. I don't need your help. I just need to sit for a moment." Amelia rolled her eyes at everyone else and shook her head.
"I'm not a moron either, kindly not insult me when I can hear your thoughts, thanks." Marcus's voice sounded faint, like he was losing consciousness. Once more, Amelia fought a small wave of panic. Of course he'd be okay. She was sure of it. She didn't believe in any twin pyschic links, but she knew him well enough to know when he was lying or just simply confident. He smiled at her in reassurance, which made her feel better. She nodded in return.

Julia was leading the group to the hidden location of their new training grounds. She thought she could feel some sort of pull towards a certain direction, but she wasn't sure. She kept walking when Marcus and Amelia stopped, because she was so drawn and focused on where she was going. Jeff had to yank her to finally get her to stop. "Something is wrong," he said while pointing at the twins. Julia nodded and together the marched back to the pair. Neither said anything as they listened. So, it seemed Marcus' power was... Telepathy? What kind of odd power is that. Jeff had assumed they were all supposed to have some sort of offensive power. Then he figured, if they guy could read thoughts or project his thoughts to others, maybe he could bend spoons too?
"Hey doesn't look so good," Julia said, interrupting Jeff's thoughts.
"Let's take a break." Jeff pulled the pack off his back and dug around for the bottled water they had packed. "It's not cold, but it's better than nothing," Jeff spoke as he handed a water to Marcus.
"His powers seem to be psychological or something. That's probably why this is taking more of a toll on him than Abby's and my own power."

Alex and Chris stomped through the forest as they tried to follow the path their friends had taken. Alex had decided last minute that they should tag along. Alex had these new healing powers and if somebody got hurt maybe she could practice. Even if it was a scratch.
"So how far do you think they got?" Alex asked. Chris wiped his dark hair away from his brow and sighed.
"They only left 20 minutes ago, and we're hiking pretty fast. Maybe we're just going the wrong way."
"No, I'm sure they are going this way. I just have some sort of hunch," Alex said. She had some sort of weird feeling that was pulling her towards a certain destination. She tried explaining it to Chris, but he just claimed it was some sort of "woman's intuition" and they were probably going in circles. After walking in silence for only a few minutes they heard talking ahead. The both exchanged looks and ran in the direction of voices.
"....toll on him than Abby's and my own power."
"Oh thank God," Alex bent over with her hands on her knees and sucked in a breath of air.
Chris simply smiled, glad they weren't lost.
"We decided to join you guys," Alex spoke. She then looked down at Marcus. "Dude, you don't look good."

Marcus only shook his head and once more tried to push Amelia away from him. "I don't feel so good," he replied. "Amelia, stop clinging. I'm not going to puke on your shoes." He frowned at her, and she frowned back, not noticing the newcomers. She looked up to see who her brother was talking to, and her face brightened. Straightening up, she flounced over to where Chris was standing.
"Apparently Marcus has telepathy now," she said, giggling. After a moment, she frowned and bit her lip. Amelia was nervous about what power she would develop, and she was certain she was going to develop something. Would she get as sick as Marcus? She hoped not. To take her mind off things, she flashed Chris a brilliant smile. After that, she was back to hovering over Marcus to make sure he was alright.

"Do we need to wait longer are you going to be able to make it Marcus?" Jeff asked. He zipped his pack closed and swung it back onto his back. He didn't want to wait any longer, soon it was going to be time for dinner and he was sure they wouldn't get the chance to eat much other than what they had packed. He looked over to Amelia, who he found rather odd. It was obvious she had some thing for Chris, but he wasn't sure if Chris realized that or not, which was annoying.
"Let him rest for a sec Jeff, don't be in such a hurry," Julia snapped. She squatted down and looked at Marcus. It seemed his color was coming back. "You're started to look a bit healthier," she commented.

"I'm starting to feel a little better," Marcus said. It was true; now that he'd gotten the chance to sit down and rest for a moment, he was feeling better. He supposed it was just the shock of getting his magic so suddenly. For the third time he waved Amelia away and hoisted himself to his feet. Instinctively, he grabbed at his sister for balance, but once he was sure he was steady on his feet, he let go. "Stop HOVERING Amelia, I'm fine!" He said, when she went to hug him. Inside though, he was relieved that she cared. He loved his sister, and sometimes he felt like a father figure to her, someone to keep her grounded when she wanted to be outrageous. Though, at this particular moment, he wanted her to give him some space.
"Sorry." Amelia bit her lip, still looking concerned. She grinned a second later though. "You should totally try to read my mind," she said, trying to think of something he could guess at, that was simple. She thought of the library they'd been at forever ago.
"You're thinking of the library. Also, keep that mushy love stuff out of your head, I don't want to know that about you." Marcus shook his head, and felt a pang of jealousy. He wanted to find someone to love too, other than his sister. he snuck a glance at Julia. She was pretty, but would never give someone like him a second chance. It was unfair.

"Hm, so if you can read her mind, does that mean you can read every body else's?" Jeff asked. He really did not like that thought at all. His mind was the only place he knew for sure was safe.
"Let's not ask him a bunch of questions, Jeff," Julia said. She smacked Jeff playfully in the shoulder. "Let him breath. Between you and his sister, you guys are going to smother him."
Jeff shrugged. "Well, let's get going then." Julia nodded and they were off. Julia did speak much as they continued their way through the forest. She was determined to find this secret training place. Walking seemed like eternity. It was getting hot and muggy and Julia started to doubt they were even going in the right direction. Jeff encouraged her on and with a weak smile she kept on going until they finally reached the spot where Julia assumed was the end point. "This is it," she spoke. She looked around and really saw nothing. "I don't feel anything any longer."
Jeff took a step out in front of her and looked around. "Maybe the place is hidden?"

Amelia stared at the pouch for a moment. For a second she wondered why Todd had singled her out, but then again, all this was way cool. Reaching into the pouch, she took a pinch of the powder. With her free hand, she gave the pouch back to Todd, and then carefully transfered the dust into her open palm. She wished carefully for the entrance to appear, and once she had that wish in her mind, she blew the dust out of her hand. When Amelia was done, she looked over at Todd and waited for something to happen.

Abby couldn't believe her eyes. it seemed like it was only a minute before the trees started moving right in front of her eyes to reveal a big ancient arena. "ummm... guys" she said trying to get everyone's attention. however it seemed like nobody heard her. so she tried again. "guys...." she said. this time everyone turned to her. "look" she said pointing to the arena. everyone turned to look where she was pointing to and stood up in awe when they saw the arena. Abby started walking toward the entrance and stopped to see if they were following her. they were so she continued. Inside the arena there were different names around the wall, looking at the names closer she noticed that the names were actually their names. she turned to Todd. "why are our names on the wall around the arena?" she asked.
Todd explained that the arena had been expecting them, the magic in the arena knew that they would be here and what powers each individual had, whether or not that person knew about their powers yet or not. the area around the arena was where they were to practice. the arena, somehow had ways of knowing the triggers and used different mirage's to get the person to practice. he then told them that he would love to stay and help them with their practicing however he had something that he needed to take care of and without another word he turned around and left the arena.

"Okay that is just weird," Chris admitted. He didn't say what was so weird. Their names, this arena, or the fact that Todd was suddenly bailing out on them. What were they supposed to do. Wasn't he supposed to help instruct them? He sighed and kicked a rock into one of the walls, right below his name.
"This trip just gets weirder and weirder." She looked up at her surroundings and turned in a full circle. "Okay, so Abby," she pointed at the girl, "you can control lighting? Sparks?" she then moved to Julia. "And you, fire." Then to Marcus, "telapathy?" Then to herself. "Heals. Anybody else have anything?"
