Yeah, my problem is that for every two boxes of stuff I get rid of there's another box of things that I keep and it's starting to really add up.

I sorted through my clothing and boxed a goodly amount of it to be given away too. Uhm. I need to buy more bookshelves or start getting rid of books. (As if I'd ever get rid of books. :stare: )

HERE HERE! Ive gotten rid of ONE book... because it was really GREAT... but the ending completely SUCKED. so i threw the book against the wall, paperback. nothing happened to it. then threw it in a box to take to goodwill. i hate when the ending of the book is crap, especially when the rest of the book is so good.

I've gotten rid of a few books that I just never read anymore or didn't have a use for but I always make sure they go to the library or to people that I know who would be happy to have them.

I do have a tendency to give books away; is why I go to the used bookstore so often and for so many of my books. When I recommend a book to someone, I normally just give it to them.

When i reccomend a book i lend it to people i can trust.. I have given away harry potter books... but thats beause they were hardback and didnt fit on my shelf... i need to get those ones in paperback now...

Tana got hers on her nook....ebooks don't take up so much space

I prefer physical books over ebooks. There's something to be said for the feel of the weight of a book in your hands and the way it smells and the sound of each page being slowly turned as you read. ... :love:

But Tana has to live on a ship sometimes, ad has limited space....though I still have quite a few actual books too, like my harry potters and some special editions of certain books.

That's a good point and that's why we have things like ebooks - because there is a need for them. :D Isn't that cool? I can have regular books and you can have ebooks and they're both awesome.
