Break the sky..
..within the light
..they can see everything..
Bring the shadows..
..they hide with the darkness..
We must destroy them..
..they rule all
..I cannot see them anymore..
..and they save no-one

The woods lay still, after the storm that had ensued during the day and still rumbled more quietly above the Gestalt forest, the night was beginning to wear down, light rain hitting the earth between the trees, the rest cascading across thousands of leaves, offering some shelter to any who were beneath them.

The sudden onset of weather at the start of the day was considered ominous in itself. And among the lightning strikes that hammers the nearby mountains and struck across the nearby plains, the growing village of Yuvin bore witness, and suffered natures violent temper.

However as the storm had begun dying down to a finer rain and distant thunder, the forest somehow fell silent, becoming victim to a dark force, an evil energy that invaded it like an unwelcome guest, magic forming into a singular orb of dark light, thin red rings spreading from it several times and the orb growing out to match it. With a sudden blast that shook the nearby ground and tore several trees from their roots, toppling them all away from the source of magic, a body appeared, suspended in the light before eventually falling, hitting the ground with a soft, grass and soil-cushioned thump.

The figure lay there clutching two fine handguns, a length of steel chain wrapped around a torn and shredded bodysuit. Dark eyes stared blankly at the sky above, watching the clouds light up as lightning struck, and in that moment she saw the rain, feeling it hit her face.
She would have answered the the questions of who she was, or why she as here, if she could remember.. All she could feel right now was the physical pain, and the cold setting in.

Mae-Su stood in the dusty street, embracing the light tapping of water on her clothes. Her white hair matted down on to the nape of her neck, and her auburn eyes closed in focus. She had sensed the energy of a demon, one who's aura screamed for security.

For help.

Mae-Su sighed. The reason she was here was to protect the citizens of Yuvin. Did that rule apply if a demon crossed over from the Nether-Realm into this dimension? Mae-Su sighed. Opening her eyes, she scanned the town for anyone looking through the windows, or for anyone on the streets.

Nothing.

Mae-Su grinned, and spread her wings. The pristine white feathers were immediately assaulted by the rain, and with one swift push of her left foot, she was off in the air and soaring towards the forest.

Landing on one foot, Mae-Su instinctively called back her wings, afraid a human would spot her. Pulling her Desert Eagle from the holster on her hip, she stalked towards the figure, and shouted.

''Hey, girl! What the hell do you think you're doing on the ground?'' It was then she noticed the recent scars of battle on her body. Mae-Su narrowed her eyes.

''So I guess you were beat down by some punks, huh?'' Mae-Su shook her head, and while reaching for the girl's hand to lift her on her feet, atleast seven demons popped in. Mae-Su looked at one of the smaller ones, and pointed her Desert Eagle towards them.

''Ya' punks plan on beating down on this chick?'' She pointed her thumb towards the limp body on the grass.

''Cause, ya' know if ya' are... I might just have to, ya' know, kill ya'.'' Mae-Su turned off the safety, and grinned a wild smile.

[OOC// xD sorry if its bad, lol.]

The woman continued to stair into the sky, the water not even stinging her eyes. It was when a voice to her side called out that she slowly shifted her head, following the sound to its origin until she saw the figure that was approaching. What had it said again?
What the hell do you think you're doing on the ground? The sentence rang a little clearer in her mind. That was a good question, except that she had no answer for it. The woman watched the other approach and offer her hand and found herself reaching up to try grasping it, but before she could do so the sounds of the seven other fiends approaching made her lose focus and she dropped it again.

The seven creatures were comprised of two hulking brutes, each wielding their own giant-sized axe's, accompanying them were four other smaller males, two fairly muscular themselves, one holding a large sword and the other seeming to go with the heavy metal gauntlets he wore. The last two were a lanky male with a large rifle, brimming with demon crystals and comprised of demon metal, the last one as probably the shortest, his shirt open to reveal his less than impressive body, a single dagger in hand, and standing behind them a demon woman, a basic witch dressed in a long dress and wielding a staff, she probably had healing sells to assist the other demons.

The skinny male with the dagger held it up threateningly to her, guns didn't frighten demons, mostly because they had magic or fused mana with their attacks to cause truly devastating attack,
"Move out of the way, angel-whore! That bitch Vessil is ours!" He growled, unlike humans, demons could sense the presence of an angel and this one was clearly in their way, "We're in a good mood, but we'll gladly fuck you up along with her if you don't scram!"

Mae-Su smirked, and ran her fingers through her hair. She yawned.

''Whats a pip-squeak like ya' going to do with a dagger? You're pathetic.'' And then, with a swift movement of her index and pointer finger, her Whip of Light came and struck him across the bare skin of his chest. Her pure magic blazed across his chest, leaving one thick ''X'' mark where she had struck him. Twice. He fell to the ground, growling his disgust. She laughed.

''Come on, Tiny. Have one of your burly friends help ya' or something.'' Mumbling to herself, she pulled the trigger on her Desert Eagle and landed a magic-infused bullet inside of the demon's chest. She stepped back a little bit, they were coming closer. Standing over the girl's body, (who's name she found out was Vessil), she promised to keep her safe.

Even if she was a bloody demon.

It was bad enough that he'd been struck twice with the light whip, the final blow came in the form of that bullet, as he was bent over, gurgling, he eventually cried out, bursting into flames and vanishing, the remains of his unused mana energy drifting into the air. The others had been approaching but then froze, seeing their would be leader of the pack destroyed. Perhaps she'd gotten lucky for having hit him with a surprise attack like that.

They tentatively stared at her, preparing their weapons until one stepped forward, one of the burly ones, his axe held out to the side for the moment,
"You gun die here now!" He roared unintelligibly, raising the axe overhead for a moment and began bringing it down on the angel, roaring loudly as he tried to use the massive weapon to split the angel in two and hopefully kill the downed demon that she was protecting.

At the same time the lanky demon with the rifle had leaped into the air, aiming the long weapon down on the pair and prepared to fire, charging energy into the demon rifle before firing a shot like a laser beam towards the two. They had to succeed or their masters would be most displeased.
Additionally the female demoness with the staff was beginning to prepare a spell as the other demons fanned out, trying to get good positions for their ensuing attacks.

All the while, the one named Vessil could only watch amusedly at the light show, she barely understood what was happening, but it seemed this person standing over her was in the way of those strange people and they were trying really hard to get her out of the way. With a strange giddy feeling she could only watch, trying to figure it all out.

Mae-Su got into a fighting stance; her gunb in her left hand, and her right hand next to her chest; poised to unleash her Whip of Light. Mae-Su scoffed. ''Ha, you pathetic demons won't get me.'' Mae-Su side-stepped the ogre's swing; he might've been strong, but he was slower than the speed paint dries. Mae-Su lifted off of her left foot, and sprang into the air.

Her wings outstretched, she swang her whip at the demon with the rifle, (who had missed his shot), and then back to the ground at the ogre. She put her gun back into its holster, and used both of her hands to produce whips.

She slashed at both of the demons, landing back on the ground. With both demons dead, she approached the demon witch. Mae-Su placed her fingertips over her mouth, and mumbled. Smiling, she approved the golden claws that took place of her nails. Length at about six inches, she lept into the air, hovering over the demon witch.

The one with the rifle fell backwards out of the air under the shock of the impact, rolling and clutching his chest before he took aim at the Angel again, trying to fire yet another shot at her, but with the pain he fired a misjudged shot that whistled past aimlessly.

The larger one that had been whipped in the back stumbled under the harsh slash across his musclebound back, turning and growling irritably, his thoughts on the demoness completely forgotten as he was then simply out for revenge, his companion joined him, the two ready to go in a berserk rage.

The two medium sized males took their chance then, the one with the sword rushing in the direction of Vessil, whom remained mostly unresponsive, watching the actions of those not far from her. As for the one with the metal gauntlets, he slid into view before the witch, acting as a protective shield and leaped into the air at the angel, thrusting a quick straight punch in her direction, going for her lower abdomen.
As for the witch she drew the staff back then swiped at the air, sending a stream of fire bullets in a curve around her pugilistic companion and after the angel like a hail of Celestian-seeking missiles.

When she saw the punch for her abdomen, Mae-Su let him punch her. In all honesty, it didn't hurt, compared to what the fire bullets would've felt like. Mae-Su fell forward, and left her mouth agape as if saying, ''I'm done for'', but when she saw his ugly smirk she grabbed his right arm, and threw him in the direction of the mage's line of fire.

Mae-Su teleported herself in front of Vessil, and with a triumphant smirk, sinked her six inch golden nails into his chest. He ran straight in to them after all. Jabbing her fist inside, she grabbed her Desert Eagle from her hip, and aimed in between his eyes.

''Should'a left when ya' had the chance.'' She pulled the trigger.

Standing about ten feet in front of Vessil, she called out to the mage and large man who punched her.

''How the hell ya' like me now, demon-bitch?'' Mae-Su huffed. She was tired. It had been forever since she had battled.

The demon that suffered the wrath of his own companions fireballs slowly began to burn up as he fell until he was nothing more than a half burned body on the forest floor, eventually exploding as the first man had. The witch made a small cry out outrage, prepared to fire again, though she'd lost sight of the angel, looking over to where Vessil was.

She could only see the demon that had stood still, and the long claws protruding from his back before the shot to his head blew out the back of his skull. He too exploded into wisps of energy and light. As the man with the sword vanished, the Witch could be seen all too clearly, she was becoming terrified of the power they were facing.

The man with the rifle had also collapsed, trembling in fear at what he had witnessed. She'd dispatched of three of them like they were nothing, and with only him, the witch and the two bruisers, who might stand a chance if this person had been weakened in some way, he imagined they were not long for the same fate. The rifleman rolled away into the shadows so eh could observe the fight and look for an opportune moment.

The two large men turned about, seeing the angel again and immediately roared at her again, charging in her direction to try and attack her once more, the slow lumbering creatures that they were.
Vessil on the other hand had found particular interest in watching this person. As she could understand it, they were acting as a savior, here to help her, but what for? she wasn't sure about this whole situation, eventually finding the strength to roll slightly and begin to weakly push herself up off the floor, at least to try and get in a sitting position so she could attempt to understand this situation a little better.

Mae-Su narrowed her eyes. She was getting tired of fighting this fight. Hell, for a person she didn't even know. But, that was the duty that came with her being. And so, as the large bruisers approached her, she smiled wickedly. Using her whips to tangle its way around their bodies, she moved them about fifty feet away from eachother, and rammed them into eachother at full speed. BAM! One time. BAM! Twice. BAM! After the third time, she set them on the ground, and could see the blood spilling from a crack in their foreheads. She shook her head.

''You should both die now.'' Pulling out her Desert Eagle's from the holster, she aimed at the holes in their foreheads. Not knowing where the rifle-man was, she stayed close next to Vessil. Mae-Su spoke. ''If you see the rifle man approaching, tell me. Or if you can't, scream. Kick. Do something to alert me.'' Mae-Su smirked at the mage.

''Wanna' leave now?'' Mae-Su dusted off her guns.

The witch's face continued to break into one of absolute horror until she was challenged directly by the Angel, at which point she swallowed hard. The end result would be the same whether she ran or fought, her masters would undoubtedly kill her for her failure, and this person, if attacked, would do the same, but at least it might be a swifter and more desire-able death than what the Overlords would have in store for her, she knew the horrors, having witnessed them herself..

With one final brave attempt, she ran towards the angel, holding the staff to her side as she charged her magic for one more try at the angel, dashing through the wall of energy that the two hulking demon bodies released. Whens he was but two meters in front of the other woman she raised her hand, dark energy gathering there as she focused it, ready to thrust the pure dark energy at the Angel.

It was at this time the the Rifleman found his opportunity, when the angel was distracted with the witch he would leap in and fire at her, this would be perfect! When eh saw the cue he leaped in, holding the rifle up and preparing to pull the trigger, a gleeful look on his face,
"Gotcha bitch!"

Thunder rang out, but not to the side, where the lanky demon was, instead behind her. Vessil as sat there, one of her guns raised and pointed at the demon whom had attempted this little ambush.
For some reason Vessil found herself seeing this move as bad, and she recognized what the things in her hands were supposed to be.
The man staggered back, dropping his rifle and staring at Vessil with a gaunt face, but he fell prey to several more shots from the gun until he lurched over backwards, body exploding into light and color like the other, all the still-unharvested raw energy in the air made something of a beautiful aurora of light in the rain that still fell upon them.

Mae-Su narrowed her eyes, and smirked. ''You know, even if you ended up escaping this alive, you'd still need to work on keeping your emotions in check. Seriously, you're like an open-book.'' Mae-Su hoped that ticking her off would buy more time, but her wishes were crushed when she heard a loud cry.
''Gotcha Bitch!'' Mae-Su turned, and widened her eyes just a little to see the demon leap for her. Then a loud crack. Which hadn't came from him, but Vessil on the ground. Then a few more, and his body exploding into light. Mae-Su smiled, and winked.
''You can kick some serious ass, girl.'' With new found confidence, Mae-Su summoned an extent of her raw, pure energy. With a crooked smirk and fiery eyes, she extended her hand out to meet the demon mage's own spark of dark energy. Mae-Su's was tripled the size of the demon's, but the demon mage should've ran when she had the chance. Instead, she stuck by with her comrands, and chose to face this death.
However, Mae-Su could only imagine what would've happened if the mage had failed to kill this girl. Shaking her head, she came almost nose-to-nose with the demon witch.

''I win.''

The witch gritted her teeth as the energies collided, backfiring in her direction with explosive force but she stumbled those last two steps up to the angel, ending up face to face with her. The witch was fully torn from the blast, her body smoking and her eyes going dull as she seemed to turn to stone slowly before shattering into light fragments.

The one that Mae-Su had been guarding all this time, watched the last one go, an estranged look in her eyes as though she should have recognized this. The lights all around fascinated her so much, and something in her body wanted to reach out and touch it, but she didn't know what to do. She found herself unsteady, collapsing back into the soil again, but she gripped the guns in her hands with tenacity.

Thunder rolled overhead once more, the odd rumble humming through the ground and made the injured demoness internally relax, she somehow felt like she would be fine, in spite of the physical stresses on her body, the pain and the lack of knowing she was suffering.

Mae-Su huffed. It had been a long while since she had battled with more than two demons. Closing her eyes, she mumbled inaudibly, and retracted her golden claws. Seeing her normal, pink-hued nails, she scratched her head, and looked towards the sky.

The rain had slowed to a light tapping on her skin, instead of stinging like many needles. Mae-Su turned around, and saw the girl fall back onto the moist soil. Mae-Su walked over, crouched down onto the balls of her feet, and with the pad of her thumb, removed the dirt that stained her face underneath her eye. Mae-Su hated dirt on the face. After clearing the remenants of debris off of Vessil, Mae-Su smiled.

''You know what, chick? You're one bad-ass girl. But I'm afraid that if you're left laying here for long, you'll be attacked and I think you're of importance to them. So, if you don't mind, I think I'll be bringing you to my home.'' Mae-Su whispered.

''It'd be faster if I carried you, so excuse me.'' Mae-Su gently wrapped her right arm underneath her neck, and scooped her knees up with her left arm. She smiled.
''So your name's Vessil, huh? Why were the guys after ya'?'' Mae-Su started to stroll in the direction of the village.

Vessil felt the arms under body and the sensation as she was lifted from the ground, her arm closest to Mae-Su was rested again her body, the other hanging limply as she looked up at the other woman, listening to her as she spoke. When Mae-Su stated Vessil's name to her, the name seemed to ring a small bell of memory, but not much, however the sensation was familiar enough.

But the question s to why the demons had attacked her she lowered her head, she wasn't even aware that those demons had come for her, though realizing that the angel had just fought them and acted in Vessil's defense, the demoness could only understand that they were indeed after her,
"I c-.. I cant remember.." The woman looked up to her with a sincere confusion, "I don't even.. Know why I'm here... Or why I hurt so much.."

Mae-Su raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow, and frowned deeply.
''Amnesia, huh? Seems pretty strange to me. But you have to be pretty strong, though. Because your aura was just... damn, you really don't know, huh?'' Mae-Su finally arrived at the village. It had taken a good thirty minutes on foot, and most of the time was spent in silence.

Mae-Su was thankful her home was on the outskirts of town, so that people wouldn't have to see her carrying a girl holding guns. Mae-Su's home was simple and clean. Pushing open the door, she laid Vessil gently on her bed. Mae-Su cracked her knuckles, and emitted a warm glow from her hands.

''Alright, lets get started shall we?'' Mae-Su scanned the body for broken bones, fractures, or internal bleeding. Vessil had fractured her shoulder and skull. Mae-su shook her head. The amnesia would be temporary, and the shoulder would heal in maybe a day or so. Mae-Su pressed her hands gently on her shoulder. Her aura quickly healed the fracture, and when she healed the fracture in her skull, she smiled.

''Your amnesia will last for a little while, so don't fret. But I'm sure more demons will come after you, so we'll have to get you in tip-top shape.'' Mae-Su yawned, then giggled.
''Well, maybe after a nap.''

"Amnesia..?" Vessil questioned, for a moment trying to understand it before she identified what she'd meant, loss of memory. It made sense, she couldn't remember much of anything, basic principles, how to pull the trigger on these guns she was so attached to. Talk of auras went right over her head.

When she was placed down on the much softer bed she found her body relaxing more, this was much more comfortable than the ground at least. She watched the other woman's hands glow with some fascination, it was an interesting sight, as though she'd never seen it before, yet she recognized it inside, as though it were normal. She could feel the healing properties relieving her of the pain inside and gave a soft sigh, finding that her body didnt hurt so much.

Oddly enough her body was absorbing the healing power and redirecting it to wounds on the body, shown clearly through the ripped and turned bodysuit, she probably couldn't wear that again once it was removed,
"Thank you.." She offered up to the other woman, she let go of the gun so she could raise her hand weakly to the Angel, though it seemed Vessil's consciousness was winding down.

Mae-Su smiled sweetly, and brought Vessil's hand back down. It was taking all her energy just to move it. Hell, probably blinking made her tired.
''Aye, it's my duty to heal people. But I don't know if it applies to demons...'' Mae-su shrugged her shoulders.

''Well, I'm not like all the other angels. They're all stuck-up bitches. So if you see another angel, don't think they'll act like me. Because the probably outcome is that they won't.'' Mae-Su shook her head when she saw Vessil's ruined body suit. She groaned disapprovingly.
''You're clothes are ruined and dirty. How about you chance out of it and into something more comfortable...'' Mae-su tossed a large T-shirt that was five sizes too big for Mae-Su, and maybe even bigger for Vessil. She winked.

''It'll be much more comfortable than that piece of cloth.'' Mae-Su brought a spare blanket over to Vessil.
''Sleep here until you get your energy back. G'night stranger.'' Mae-Su closed the door, and walked over to her couch. Slumping deep into the cushions, she sighed. Vessil better not turn on her once she gets her memory back.

With less pain to hold her back, and under the advisement of her savior, the demoness managed to sit up, she pulled at the destroyed bodysuit, pulling away the broken item, kicking off the boots and slipping off the gloves, then grabbed the shirt she'd been offered, slipping it overhead and adjusting it until it it stretched down to its full length, mid-way down her thighs.

She pulled away the blanket on the bed, it was officially dirty and stained with blood, but with no more wounds on her body she wasn't bleeding anymore. She grasped the spare blanket and slipped back onto the bed, tentatively pulling the new blanket over herself as she curled up, facing the wall.

Vessil barely had the time to think about much of what just happened as her mind slipped away, dragging itself into the blank darkness within.

It had been a good five days before Vessil was back on her feet and re-energized. Mae-Su had provided her with an outfit she never wore, and was just in her size. A snug black shirt, black shorts, and a white coat with long sleeves and fur on the ends and hood. Mae-Su whistled approvingly, and winked.

''Grab your guns. We're training today.'' Mae-Su pulled on her red jacket, and grabbed her two Desert Eagles. She pointed towards the door.
''Alright Vessy, off to the forest!'' Mae-Su ushered her out the door.

When they had arrived at the forest, Mae-Su set up three metal coffee bean cans, and behind each one was a block of wood that was four feet long. So if Vessil missed, Mae-Su could determine how far she had missed. She smiled. ''Okay, shoot all three cans. Don't miss.'' Mae-Su stood off to the side, watching Vessil's body movements.

In the five days that Vessil had been recuperating she'd proven to be rather shy and withdrawn, subject to raising her arms in defense when Mae-Su made sudden movements, only to find she had nothing to fear, though the frequency of these startled movements were becoming lesser.

The clothes that had been provided to her had actually made her quite happy as she slipped them on, tying a provided gunbelt around her hips and putting the guns she'd been found with into their newfound holsters. She had also taken to wear long black leggings and a pair of simple, strapped shoes.
Vessil hugged the jacket close, finding it comfortingly warm, and it smelled nice too.

She went with Mae-Su as requested to the forest where she watched the Angel then set up a line of cans and wooden blocks. Vessil tentatively held up one of her guns, keeping her arm steady, or at least trying to as she nervously pulled the trigger.
There was a loud thundercrack as the round was fired and Vessil yelped with the shock of it, losing her balance and falling back, but she gripped the gun tightly, the power of the gun had surprised her, hadn't she fired it before? she was sure she could recall using it on that man, yet now she could barely withstand the kickback.

What was worse, not only had she missed her target, she'd missed the wooden block and a tree not three meters behind it now had a gaping wound in its side, representing the power of these guns, truly demon and angel enhanced weapons were among the best, but what good was a power like this if it couldn't be controlled?

Mae-Su shook her head. This was pathetic.
''Aww, come on Vessy. You were so good before. What happened?'' Mae-Su walked behind Vessil, and whispered in her ear.
''One, you have to bend your knees so the backlash from the gun doesn't throw you off balance.'' Mae-Su gently nudged Vessil's knees until they were bent at a good angle.
''Two, hold it like this.'' Mae gently grabbed Vessil's right hand, and placed it at the top hilt of the gun, and wrapped her left hand underneath it.

''This method helps to ensure stability and accuracy of the shot.'' Mae wrapped her skinny arms around Vessil's body, and straightened out Vessil's right arm.

''Whichever hand you're dominant with, make sure that arm is straightened out. And when you shoot, since you can't even seem to hit the wood block, close your less-dominant eye, and make sure that the barrel of the gun is a little below the bullseye. If you have your gun pointed more down, you'll have more of a chance at shooting something.'' Mae backed up from Vessil.
''Now pull the trigger slightly so that you won't jerk the gun and miss like last time.'' Mae watched the bullet split the air, loving the sound of the thunderous crack.

Vessil was quite shaken from the sudden experience, but found Mae helping her up to try her luck one more time. For some reasons he felt this lesson unnecessary, she knew how to use it, but was a little terrified of everything that followed the pull of the trigger, the loud noise, the flash of light, and the killing power,
"My.. Dominant hand..? I have two of these guns.. Does that not suggest I have no dominant side..?" She asked, looking nervously at Mae-Su curiously. It was a fair point.

When Mae backed off, Vessil felt that fright in her again, just imagining pulling the trigger again frightened her, but she wanted to comply with the Angel's wishes, after all she'd done so much to help, it was only fair to do what she asked.

Vessil braced herself and fired the gun but yelped again, the shot went wild again, curving around the tin can and taking a chunk out of the wooden block as her arm snapped back suddenly, the handgun flying clean out of her grip and smashed into the side of the tree, this in turn making the tree buckle and crash over sideways.

The nervous young woman gripped her arm, still feeling the lash back as she whipped around to see the tree falling down, which made her bow in Mae-Su's direction,
"I-I'm sorry..! I didn't mean to do that..!" She stated, going over to the tree and rummaging around under it until she found the gun again, its power could almost be considered rather unreal, she couldn't even hold onto the damn thing bet she rarely let these links to her past out of her sight, keeping them close at all times.

Mae smiled. This chick was witty.
''Yes, but you need to re-learn how to properly use one gun. If you know this, it'll be easier to use duo-weapons.'' Mae left her mouth open agape, and shook her hands and head.
''No, no! You did good! You shot closer to the can this time, and took a tree out with you!''

Mae clapped her hands, and instead of wooden blocks, replaced them with steel sheets.
''I knew that using wooden blocks would be a bad idea. Well, now I know the problem. You're scared. Don't be scared of your weapon. It's an attachment of you. It was made for you.'' Mae patted Vessil gently on the back.
''I really hope your memory comes back soon. Because I want to see the bad-ass chick who used these guns.'' Mae grinned.

Vessil shook off the hand she'd been firing with, closing her fist and reopening it several times until it felt comfortable again. She placed the gun back in her hand, taking a more natural stance and aimed the gun again, her focus going to the middle can this time, with any luck she'd maybe hit one of the others by chance.

She winced the moment she fired and struck the can dead on, which in turn smashed into the steel sheets and that crumpled like paper, becoming a steel missile that sunk into the tree and protruded from the other side, Vessil had once again fallen on her rear her hands shaking as she stared at what the weapon had done. In her terror she was once again gripping the gun tightly, though honestly she wanted to drop it and abandon it.

She looked over to Mae-Su, rather shaken, the gun lowering as she tried to calm down. She then lowered her head, away, seeming rather ashamed, though felt so for a number of reasons. She feared what this kind of a weapon could do, if she made one mistake she could hurt some-one innocent, but beyond that she was ashamed that she couldn't even handle the gun anymore in spite of Mae's efforts, and that she was acting so scared of something that belonged to her.

She also knew that these guns were proof of a more-than-likely violent past, one she didn't want to remember. The past five days with Mae-Su taking care of her so diligently and without complaint were extraordinary to her for some strange reason, did she really have to go back to the violent ways these guns offered..?
