Vessil felt herself placed back in the seat and she hung her head in shame even when deep inside she wanted to stop what she was doing she found herself uncontrollable, she couldn't stop, she just felt as though they deserved to suffer. But her friends? She wasn't even known in this town, what was she talking about? When people came to be healed, she would hide in another room and watch Mae do her work and she certainly hadn't had enough time to meet anyone while they were out on the town yesterday.

But then what were the images in her head of people she was calling friends? And they weren't the only ones. There were more, some so close to her she could almost remember their faces, even their names. Yet they sat on the tip of her tongue, unspoken, but lurking there, haunting her mind. Vessil shifted back on the seat, bringing her legs up onto the seat and hugged them, burying her head behind her knees.

Mae had woken up with a bitter taste in her mouth and the sound of thunder. Mae frowned. The rain was a consistent tapping on her window, and the thunder was frightening and loud. The lightening streaked through her curtains; flashes of white every few minutes. Mae slipped out of bed groggily, and called for Vessil. Her voice was groggy.
''Vessy? Where are you?''
Mae stretched her arms above her head. Her companion hadn't answered. Where was she?

Vessil hadn't followed Mae-Su to bed that night, when the other woman had fallen to the spell of the sleeping pills she'd taken, Vessil he grabbed her coat, slipped on her shoes and gone back out into the town, her guns abandoned on the table along with her gunbelt.

She'd decided to find civilians who needed help, specifically help to clear the debris of the recent demon attack. It was mostly her good luck that no-one recognized her, those that witnessed her good acts of saving the child and helping rid the town of the demons were thankful, too confused by it all to listen to the demons words.
She hefted another large chunk of wood onto her shoulder, again amazing the strongmen of the town as she moved it to the pile of remains they were stacking up, she needed the time to think and she had plenty of it here.

She stopped after a while, sitting down in front of a statue in the town, she didn't mind the rain as it pelted down on her softly, the striking of lightening also proving ineffective in moving her. She looked up to the sky slowly, her thoughts bent inwards, mostly with concern for these townsfolk, if she stayed here, more attacks would come, but her presence here was no known to those demons, the ones who spoke of overlords and nether-worlds, talk which meant nothing to her jaded memory.

She had to leave, but she had to assure that these people would be protected, what was she to do..?

When Mae couldn't find Vessil in her home, she closed her eyes and searched for Vessil's energy. Mae slipped on her boots, and walked towards the source. Vessil was sitting in front of the statue of the village hero, her head bowed in though. Mae walked forward, and smiled softly. She must've helped with clearing the battle site. The large wood planks that was there yesterday were no longer there. The townmen couldn't have done it. These planks were atleast 100 pounds or more. Mae sat down next to Vessil, and sighed.

''So you helped the towns folk, huh? that's nice of you.'' Mae looked at Vessil's face. It was a face Mae had used before. The same face she had when she ran away from Vessil yesterday. Mae furrowed her brows, and licked the rain off of her lips.
''What are you thinking, Vessil?'' Mae placed her hand over Vessil's knee.

"I have to leave this place.." She replied simply, wrapping her arms around Mae's arm, and lowering her head, she wasn't sure if it was what she wanted to do, but she knew she would have to to draw the attacks of the demons away at least, until she could remember what was so important to these demons that they would want to kill her,
"You were right.. It wont be the last battle.. They were willing to tear through this town just to get to me,"

Vessil looked up to the angel, then leaning in closer to her, resting her damp hair on her apparent lovers' shoulder as she stared into the distance,
"But even if I leave.. They would still be in danger, even with you here to protect them.." She sighed, still trying to think up a way to defend the townsfolk even from afar, she just couldn't divide herself into two parts, she somehow knew it would be ultimately weakening for her, strangely enough she was sure there was a solution, hidden somewhere in her head, but she couldn't quite pin it yet..

Mae frowned deeply, and had to calm herself by counting the raindrops. She was ready to scream, slap, and drag Vessil back to their home and keep her on house arrest. She didn't want Vessil to go. It wasn't fair. Mae held Vessil's hand tightly. Fearing that she would soon disappear. Mae's voice was laced with venom.

''No, I've been taking care of this village for a long time now. I've single-handedly fended it off from demon attacks, and you being here won't change that. We'll just have to relocate into the forest...'' Mae stressed out the ''we'll'' in her statement. She wasn't going anywhere without Vessil.

''And it won't be a problem because if I sense danger near the village, I can just fly there and it won't be a problem...'' Mae closed her eyes, holding back a sob.
''I'm not staying here without you. I'll leave with you, too. I don't care at this point anymore.'' Mae opened her eyes, and looked into Vessil's blue eyes. they were clouded with emotion.
''You were my first friend and my lover. I'm very loyal, and I won't go anywhere without you.'' Mae bowed her head; the stress was taking its toll on her body.

Vessil looked at Mae with a little surprised, she really wanted to be with her, in spite of what she'd done less than a day ago. This wasn't some simple passion based relationship, no matter Vessil's history, this angel was so willing to love her,
"I don't want to leave you either.. I just cant endanger these people with my presence, however I cant let it lie that more demons will come for me.." Vessil ran one hand up the arm Mae had on her nee, the other prssing afainst Mae's ribs gently as Vessil raised her head slightly, her hot breath could be felt through the cold of the rain, a soft fog coming from her lips,
"Mae.. I love you too.." She affirmed suddenly, "Please come with me.. I cant promise the things you learn about me will be to your liking, but know that no matter what we find, I love you.." She leaned in closer, placing her lips against the Angels, changing her grip so that she embraced Mae-Su.

She knew in her heart that she loved her savior and certainly couldn't abandon her here, she felt that she would need the Angel's kindness and her guidance in the end, to control Vessil, to stop her becoming a cruel monster. She would also need her skills to defeat more of the demons, together they could do it, they would find out what had happened in the past and figure out a way to stop their advances.
Eventually she parted lips with Mae-Su,
"Lets go home.. My clothes are soaked and I'm a bit cold.."

Mae nodded, and with a crooked smile, enveloped her lover in her arms; carrying her like a groom carries his bride home. Mae winked, and pushed open the door to her home. Placing Vessil gently on her feet, she sighed.
''So we should probably find a house close to the village. Or we could always build it ourselves...'' Mae furrowed her brows. Building a house shouldn't be that hard. Mae grabbed a duffel bag, and started to dump her clothes in one by one. She didn't have much, but that was better for her back, anyway.

Vessil made a small squeak as she was picked up, but smiled, being carried felt so relaxing, plus a little fun, she hugged up close to her chest again. When she was set down, Vessil pushed the door closed, quietly stripping her clothes behind Mae and dropping them aside until she found an opportune moment to pull Mae around, bringing herself up close to the Angel and smiling up at her,
".. We have time again, we don't have to rush tonight.." The demoness smiled, grabbing the collar of Mae-Su's jacket to pull her closer, "I want you to remember it all this time.." she announced suddenly, wrapping her arms around Mae slowly as she once again brought her lips to Mae's, she was rather adamant, but would comply with Mae-Su's wishes, whatever they did. It didnt stop Vessil desiring it, a pure night, sharing their love non-intoxicated, simply as themselves with their hearts exposed to one another as they were now, there would always be time afterward to do what they had to to safeguard the village.

Mae raised an eyebrow, and smirked.
''Alright. But you know, this time I will remember everything, and you better not cover yourself in the morning.'' Mae led Vessil to their bedroom, where they would spend the night loving eachother the way nature intended.

Vessil awoke the next morning, her arms still wrapped about her sleeping love, she stared for a while, looking down on their intertwined bodies before concentrating on those enticing lips. The demoness quietly leaned in close, kissing Mae-Su softly but made sure not to disturb her.

She slipped away, sitting on the edge of the bed as she began to deliberate her thoughts from yesterday. They needed a new home, yes, but they needed to be moving about, trying to find more demons to answer her questions, or at least to kick start her memory, she'd noticed int he presence of power or when she'd been drawing it in that she was remembering things, perhaps the next fools to come across them would provide enough to kick start her mind.

She then looked to the table at the side, eyes on a piece of jewelry with a small diamond-shaped gemstone in it. It was then she remembered suddenly, a basic tool that both angels and demons had come to use! A Geo Stone!
Vessil held out her hand, for some reason she knew she could do this. She concentrated the vast quantities of energy she had already obtained recently, focusing it into a pyramid of solid, glowing energy. But what properties to give it? She pondered this, the red light illuminating her body as she crossed her legs, thinking on it, her fingers supporting the pyramid shaped item while her remaining arm allowed her to balance.

When an idea finally came to mind, the center of the crystal began to light up, Vessil smiling light, although it had taken a lot of her energy to craft it, it would serve its purpose in the end. She stared at the red device a while then put it down on the side-table, turning her form to look at Mae.
What a perfect creature, she couldn't imagine herself with any other, though ass he watched an image flashed before her, of a different woman, lush blond hair, gently frayed about behind her, long, silky golden strands and that same content face. Vessil shook her head suddenly, looking at Mae again, there she was again, her savior. But what of the golden-haired woman? Was she..? It didnt matter now..

Mae woke up to her love transferring energy into a Geo stone. Wait, Geo stone...? Mae rubbed her eyes, and was rewarded with the sight of Vessil's beautiful face. Mae yawned; stretched her arms above her head, and crawled over to the side where Vessil was perched. Mae sat up on her knees, and kissed Vessil's lips softly.
''So I'm guessing you remembered how to use a Geo stone?'' Mae smiled, and kissed the skin on Vessil's shoulder.
''So what do you plan on doing with it? Oh, did anything else come back about your past life?'' Mae smiled. She was hoping it wasn't anything that would change their relationship.

Vessil didn't move much as Mae got close, the kisses were well received as she reached behind her, gently placing her hand behind Mae's head as she leaned back, staring at the glowing crystal,
"Yes.. I remembered.." She replied, "And I did remember a little something but... It wasn't important." She sighed, shaking her head, only half-convinced of this herself before she turned to Mae, pushing her back down to the bed and wrapping her arms around the Angel, face buried in Mae's shoulder,
"I'll need your help.. I want you to fuse a second stone to its base, a shield only you can pass your hand through, then place it them at the feet of the statue where you found me yesterday."

Vessil continued to hold onto her lover for a while, simply enjoying the feeling, their warm flesh together left her with an addictive feeling, a wave traveled through her in an addicting fashion, but she knew she had to let go sooner or later,
"Would you forgive me.. If I had loved another before we met..?"

Mae moaned, and whispered. It was nice to have someone to hold.
''Yeah, I can do that. I have loads of those stones.'' Mae stiffened just a little at the sudden question, and when she thought about it, long and hard, she could just imagine the possibilites. What if this person was still living? What if they were looking for Vessil? What if this person wasn't a woman, but a man? Mae shuddered slightly at the thought. What if Vessil decided to leave her and go with her previous lover? Mae whispered. Her throat was suddenly now dry and her usually beautiful voice cracked with emotion.

''Well, that depends... I mean, I don't want to lose you but...'' Mae turned her head to conceal her tears. She took a deep breath, and spoke through the pillow.
''If you went with the other person, then I'd still love you but respect your choice...'' Mae choked back many sobs at this point. It was getting harder for her to breath. Of course she should've expected this. This wasn't Vessil's right mind. She was still the amnesiac. Mae was the lover to the amnesiac Vessil. The other person was Vessil's real lover. Mae cleared her throat as best as she could, and with reluctant movements, got out of bed, and dressed in her clothes. She turned her head away from Vessil's view and whispered.
''I'll get to work on the stone.'' Mae walked away, descending into the basement.

Vessil watched the reaction of her companion, she'd obviously struck something then, feeling a shard of pain in her own heart, she didn't bother with her clothes as she followed Mae into the basement, immediately embracing the angel from behind, holding her close,
"No-one may take me from you.. I'm yours Mae.. I swear it.." She stated, holding onto her for a while before making her way up the stairs slowly, but looked back at the Angel, smiling sincerely before slipping up the stairs quietly, she had to go clean up and get herself dressed.

Once she'd had a quick wash she dressed in fresh underwear, then grabbed her outer clothes again, making sure it was all on securely, it had been hung up so it would dry. Once she had everything minus her gun-belt and coat on, she made her way back downstairs, sitting halfway down on them as she stared over at Mae, smiling as she did so.

By the time Vessil had trotted back down to the basement, Mae was already fusing the stones together to create a perfectly-cut cube of red and yellow. Mae had mumbled incoherently while she built it. So there was another lover, huh? Would Vessil really stay with her if she found the other person? Mae shook her head, and when Vessil's footsteps could be heard down the staircase, Mae smiled softly and presented Vessil the newly fused Geo stone. Mae got up from her perch, and from the top of the stairwell, she whispered.
''I'll be back soon. I'm going to go put this on the statue and then go visit a friend.'' Mae shut the door behind her, and quickly fled to the statue. It was still raining.

Vessil smiled as Mae completed the work, when she was presented the fused stone Vessil reached out but then sharply withdrew her hand as the shield sparked, refusing her entry, but Mae remained unaffected, Vessil giggled a little,
"Its great..!" She smiled, watching Mae go up and speak back to her, "Alright.. I'll be waiting here.. For you.." She replied before Mae left, making her way up the stairs. She wasn't really sure what to do but then began simply tidying things up, there was an odd, wonderful feeling to it all as she worked, simply getting things cleaned, changing the bedsheets.

Looking about at the home she wondered about where she may have once lived. That demon had called Vessil your majesty, which made her grin a little, the idea of having lived in a castle felt strangely unusual, she must have been some really important person once, yet now she as satisfied just being important to Mae.
Vessil stopped a moment, holding one of Mae's shirts, she embraced the fabric, sniffing at it and taking in that familiar scent, it wasn't as good as the real thing, she hoped her lover would return soon.

Once Mae had sat the stone on the feet of the statue of the local hero, (who happened to be an angel long ago) Mae had walked the streets alone, with the new information racing through her mind. Mae didn't doubt that Vessil had once had a lover, but she had hoped it was someone from the past. Now, Mae didn't know if this person was still out there or not. Searching for their mate. Mae shuddered at the thought. She wanted Vessil to be her's and only her's. Mae was gone for almost an entire day. Just roaming the shops, talking to villagers, and being a free woman. When Mae had returned, Vessil was waiting for as always.

After some hesitation, Mae reached for Vessil to embrace her. Somehow, it didn't feel right anymore. It felt as if Vessil was someone elses property. And Mae was just a rentor. Mae smiled sheepishly, and tenderly kissed Vessil's temple. It was hard to do just that. Mae cleared her throat, and stuttered. Her usually melodious voice was raw with stress gnawing at her head.

''Sorry I was so late... I just lost track of time...'' Mae brought out a bag filled with clothes. They were identical to the one's Vessil wore. There was five sets, and ten new lingerie pieces. Mae placed them on a chair.
''Those are your's. Wear them.'' Mae walked into her room and collapsed on to her bed. She didn't fall asleep, however. Just the image of Vessil and her imaginary lover with their imaginary children played through her mind.

Vessil examined the clothes that Mae had brought, noticing their similarly to the ones she was wearing and smiled though then watched Mae go to bed immediately. She ignored the clothes then, following after Mae and linking onto the bed until she was at face level with the Angel, staring at her quietly,
"Mae.. Are you still upset..?" She asked, curling up close to her, but she made sure to hold onto her coat so she couldn't turn away, "I told you.. There would probably be things you'll learn about me that you'd rather not have.."

Vessil lowered her head but then sat up, holding her knees, she couldn't bear to see Mae acting like this. The demoness slipped away from the bed again, moving tot he back of clothes that she'd been provided with and stripped herself down to replace it all with fresh ones, then put the dirty ones in their necessary place before going to the front door where she slowly put her gunbelt on, she'd done enough harm to Mae, she couldn't stay her and hurt her even more, all that was left was to go out there, find out who she was, or die.. Perhaps it would be preferable to this..

Mae hadn't answered. It wasn't that she wasn't capable, but that she didn't want to. When Vessil had left, and when Mae had heard the slamming door, Mae had hoped it was just because she needed to blow off some steam. But it was a long time before Vessil came back. It had been hours, and yet, Mae waited patiently. Laying there, in the dark.

Mae had awoken to the sun streaming onto her pale face. Her arm flung carelessly over the edge of the bed, Mae sat upright, immediately becoming disoriented. Mae groaned awkwardly, and called out to Vessil. There was no answer, except for the echo of her own voice. Mae grunted, and stripped of her dirty clothes. After a quick shower and brushing of hair, Mae would go search for her love. She had made another mistake. Her obsession with the other lover tore her apart from what really mattered--- Vessil.

Mae stepped out of her home with her weapons in their proper holsters and her double-headed scythe strapped to her back. She wouldn't know if she'd encounter any demons, but if she did, it would be their demise. Mae closed her eyes and searched for that strong tug of energy that could only be identified as Vessil. Mae popped an apple slice into her mouth, and set on foot for her runaway lover.

"Uah!" Vessil coughed, rolling back from the blow of a demon. She hadn't gone far from the village, she couldn't go too far, Mae was still there, and internally she felt attached, she just couldn't leave Mae as hard as she tried to go. And now here she was, once again the demons had come, finding her out in the forest on her own.

Although when it came to it, she matched them blow for blow, which it came down to it, the final stroke. Before she could pull the trigger on a killing blow she would freeze, remembering Mae's face, the look of horror when she'd tortured that demon. Every time the urge to kill grew and she got to the point of breaking, Mae's image would hold her down.

With no way of actually killing these demons, Vessil had slowly become something of a punching bag, even though their blows did so little, each strike sapped a little of her energy. She wondered if perhaps they were hurting more than her, having to expend so much power just to hurt her.
Another blow sent her reeling, her form collapsing back into the grass but she rolled, slowly getting to her feet, but another of the demon squad charged up, kicking into her chest and throwing her against a tree.

Well she'd found her place of death it seemed. She could no longer bear the thought of killing, not with that image haunting her mind.. If she killed again she really would become no better than these monsters.. But then how would she win? They would not submit.. They were demons.. She looked up slowly, though what she saw was entirely different to what as there.

The woman from her bed, splayed on the floor, a blade through her heart as she twitched and convulsed, the spark in her eyes was vanishing, and as it flickered out, she vanished,,
"M-momma Ekres!!" A child's voice cried out, Vessil looked to her left, watching as two children, one blond-haired with red eyes, like the fallen woman, the other sporting Vessils' dark hair, but the same red eyes. They two then turned to her, trying to run toward her,
"Momma Vessil!!"
A dark figure landed in between them, brandishing a blade. They never stood a chance as it swung low in a broad sweep.. Two small explosions of light..

Bastards..
"Y-You.. You.. ANIMALS!!" Vessil suddenly shouted, the encroaching demons froze, staring as Vessil slowly began to stand, her own eyes were beginning to glow red, the more unnatural glow that would occur when she was opening up the limiters on her powers.
Electricity jumped around the demoness, the ground beginning to shake under their feet as the woman gritted her teeth, a guttural howl of rage escaping her. The earth beneath her feet was cracking, spreading out all around for over ten meters, chunks of earth rising into the air and shattering,
"I'LL KILL YOU!!" She shouted, charging at one suddenly, the move as so quick that it couldn't be seen that she thrust her arm into his skull. He spun in the air like a pinwheel, several times over before Vessil grasped him by the throat, quickly hurling his limp body at a companion and crushing the two of them against a nearby tree, her hand held out quickly and blasting them out of existence, a black line scorching the earth where the tree once stood.

One of the demons attempted to punch her from behind but she vanished, reappearing behind him where she smacked the back of her hand against the side of his skull, sending him grinding along the earth, a large ditch of dirt being dug up as the woman vanished again, appearing by a far larger opponent, her left arm withdrawn. With a single thrust she pushed her fist toward him.
The air around them warped for a moment, Vessil vanishing, but then an uncountable number of punches from a seemingly invisible source landed upon the large demons body, battering him senseless before Vessil appeared on the other side of him, her hand open.
She closed her hand suddenly, the large demon exploding behind her in a violent fireball of energy and light.

As the smoke cleared Vessil looked over her shoulder at who remained, a number of mages and soldiers, frozen in place, terrified at what they were witnessing. hat kind of a suicide mission had they been sent on? Before the could even speak, Vessil back-flipped in their direction, landing in amongst them, warping quickly and suddenly and appearing by each of them, landing powerful blows into their bodies, their skulls, breaking their limbs, all within a matter of a few seconds before she reappeared where she'd landed earlier, her guns drawn as she fired in the directions of her victims with one swift hail of bullets.

As the last of them vanished, Vessil looked at the sky, dark clouds gathering in the sky high above, with several deep breaths taken she finally opened her jaws in an unholy howl of rage. A rage that only a mother had, the loss of her children fueling her anger. She raised her arms to the sky, falling to her knees before bringing her hands to the ground, smashing them into the ground. Several boulders and dust-clouds burst into the air, but in the meantime the rage had warped, turning into the same tears from before, the heavily hurt woman sobbing into the ground, so much that she half collapsed, face half pressed into the dirt, her cries of pain and anguish probably being her for quite a distance.

Mae was rushing towards a large mass of demon bodies that were slowly decreasing in numbers. Seems Vessil was engaged in a fight. Mae started to sprint towards the clearing where Vessil was. Her body was running swiftly through the trees and foilage. She was well over sixty miles an hour, and when she erupted from the trees, there was her Vessil leaned over on the ground, sobbing.

It was a heart-breaking cry of agony that Mae registered as something terrible happened. From what Mae could see, Vessil had no severe injuries, and Mae couldn't have caused such a gut-wrenching cry from her maiden... It was then the wide-eyed Mae put her current knowledge together, and came up with a conclusion. Vessil's memories flooded back to her. It must've been some dark past, because Vessil looked as if she was ready to kill herself.

The demons examined the angel who arrived with a lot of interest. Was this the girl they were told to kill? The angel and demon who fought against the last mass of demon soldiers and survived with barely a scratch? The demons whispered amongst themselves and gave shifty glances towards each other as if saying, ''what do we do now?'' One demon must've understood the glances, and charged stupidly for the beautiful angel. She turned her eyes towards him, and swiftly reached for her double-headed scythe.

Shink! The battered carcass fell to the ground, and within a few seconds, the body erupted with light, and she had sucked the energy out of him. Her body illuminated with the power that swirled around her. and with a turn of her head, she whispered eerily, and beckoned for them to take her on. It was a glance most would describe with, ''if looks could kill...'' and her stare did kill many of them. Because her inhuman speed allowed her to summon her whip and slash them all to bits before anyone noticed she raised a finger. She smiled.

''I'm waiting. Come for me. We'll see who'll survive against me.'' Mae held her scythe in her left hand, the other hand close to her solar-plex; poised to whip another demon to hell. A few were confident and rushed her in what could've been mistaken for a back-up plan, but really, it was a strategically coordinated plan that enabled their stealthiest and fastest soldier to sneak up behind the enemy and kill them. Mae had studied this many times, and right when the intruder was leaping towards her back, Mae turned, and converted her whip into her golden dagger-claws that pierced through his heart.

She had pulled out her hand and stabbed him again in his eyes with her superior speed. He fell limply to the ground, and his energy escaping towards Mae's body. Mae flipped backwards, strapped her scythe back onto her back, and pulled out her most-used weapons. Mae shot her mana-infused bullets in the direction of the demons who had rushed her, and smiled in satisfaction when they exploded in a mass of color. Mae landed on her feet perfectly, aiming her guns at the crowd of demons. Most had aimed their arrows and fireblasts at her direction, but Mae merely shook her head and sprinted towards them. Their death wasn't escapable.

Vessil watched as Mae finally came to her, but perhaps a little too late.. Why couldn't she have come sooner? The Demoness merely cried into the ground further even as more demons appeared, now targeting Mae instead, their assumption of the other demons deaths being placed on her. Watching Mae fight made Vessil freeze, could she really let Mae alone like this? It wasn't her battle..
"Leave her alone..!" She cried weakly.

The woman slowly sat up, then floated to her feet, watched as Mae dispatched of several more demons, her eyes turning to the archers and mages firing magic at the Angel. Once again she saw that golden-haired woman, facing a torrential rain of destruction, but that Mae was up against something so wicked.
All the same, Vessil couldn't help reacting the way that she did, her body warping and appearing in front of Mae, arms spread out, a large dark barrier forming up before them and taking the attacks like nothing more than a light rain, and indeed that was all it was,
"I said; LEAVE HER ALONE!"

The shield shattered as quickly as it had appear, Vessil holding her left hand over her right shoulder, a substantial amount of energy gathered, the demoness leaping into the air and swiping her hand at the ground where the last demons were stood. The force of the attack caused a great crescent moon of the ear to be turn asunder before everything literally was blown sky-high, a destructive wave of energy disintegrating everything above it, the demons included.

Vessil landed on her feet, immediately turning and rushing towards Mae whom she clamped her arms around tightly, afraid to let go as she sobbed into the Angel's shoulder, she didn't want to be alone anymore, she'd lost so much already, she didn't want Mae gone too.

Mae froze from her lover's embrace. She was so caught up in her own little world that she thought Vessil would never love her again... Mae shook her head, and returned the embrace. It was hard to think of what Vessil had witnessed. But Mae just had to ask. With a dry throat, Mae spoke softly.
''Vessil... What did you see? To make you break down and cry like this... I won't judge or run away.'' Mae stroked Vessil's raven tendrils, and placed her mouth against Vessi's neck. Her breathing was ragged. The hot breath seeped into Vessil's neck trying to calm her down. Mae only held her tighter.

"Them..! Their masters.." Vessil choked a cry, desperately holding onto Mae, she continued to cry but her legs were giving out and she slowly slipped to the floor, still holding onto Mae until they were both sat upon the ground, Vessil crying aloud again, her chest heaving,
"They killed them.. M-my.. My lover.." She gritted her teeth, as though trying not to say anymore, but it simply burst from her, "My daughters..!! They.. Killed my daughters... Without any good reason.. Barely even four years old..!! Animals!" The torn woman held onto Mae tight again, "Brutal.. Vicious monsters..!"

In spite of the anger conveying in her, she'd already spent most of her fury, left only with the tears for her losses, the images played out in her head again and again, she remembered it so well now, how brutal and evil demons could be was brought back to her as she saw their merciless slaying of even children, no mercy at all,
"Mae.. My whole netherworld.. It's probably nothing but a wreck now.. Everyone I knew is gone.. You are all I have left.."
