Meia closed her eyes as she let out a sigh. "You know that there are two sets of elders now, at one time their had been just one. I was created when the one split into two. One side of the elders believed in only killing as need and staying in the shadows. The other wanted and wants everything to bow down to them. When I came into being I acted as the law keeper for both sides. As my job as historian for our race I know our law quit well. Though after some years I took the side of the first group. I had no need to kill because I could. The other side had become to vile and evil for lack of better words. To help the humans defend themselves from that side, the elders of my side chose seven humans to train. I was put in charge of teaching the humans what I could....Only the seven who I started with knew that I was a vampire. The other hunters assume I and the other elders were like the ones who just want to kill. Our plan had been to train enough to kill the other side but that has failed. Instead the hunters have become hungry for our heads and the other side has become hungry for power. Over the last few years my elders have all but a few been killed off by the other side and hunters. There is a war brewing between the hunters and vampires Bree. The other vampires are wanting to show themselves and just be free. They are not thinking about the hunters who are just waiting to kill them if they do. The hunters want to help exposes our kind any way they can to bring us to our end. If this happens there will be no end it will be worse than it is now. The hunters may kill a few of us but our kind will begin to attack and turn innocents with no care. We will become animals again....just as we where when we first began. This will not be the first war that we have had like this. But I fear it will be worse than the last one." Meia open her eyes as she looked at Bree with stared at her with a blank expression on her face.

Cyrus found Meia with little difficulty. He stopped a few paces from her after spotting another female vampire beside her. Figuring the younger vamp was a friend of Meia's he hung back and simply listened to the conversation. He knew Meia could sense his presence and that when she was ready she'd introduce him. Meanwhile Apollo wasn't too far behind his master.

Meia turned and smiled then looked back at Bree. "I'd like you to meet one of the hunters who our kind has taught. Cyrus please come and say hello to my friend Bree. Be careful she can read what you think so nothing dirty please." She looked back over her shoulder at him smiling. She wandered why he would bother to leave the base. This was out of his behavior but it was kind of nice she thought.

Balthazar followed behind apollo closely, trying to keep up, it had been a long time since he had run so much. "Apollo how do you know where they are?" he yelled as he ran.

Cyrus smiled back and moved closer to stand beside them. "Hey there, Bree wasn't it?" Cyrus greeted with a swiping bow. "I'll try to keep the perversion to a minimum but there's no guarantee." He smirked at them joking slightly.

Artemis paused when he deemed them close enough. He turned to Balthazar and answered him. "I always know where Master Cyrus is. I have his presence memorized so I can keep track of him during missions. Now keep your voice down they're around the corner."

"Oh om sry," Balthazar said in a whisper, putting up his mental block just in case.

Apollo shrugged. "It's okay. I don't think they noticed." He whispered back as he scanned the scene before him. Spotting Bree he hid his mind from her as best he could not wanting her to expose him.

picking up the trail of the vampire i follow it back to her hiding spot my fur quivering with thte excitement of a hunt.

Meia glanced over and laughed as she stud up. She rose a brow. "You have to be kidding the two of you are worse than feedlings trying to kill their first prey. You make to much noise. Get out here Apollo and Balthazar! You want like it if I come and get you."

Apollo grimaced at Meia's outting them. "Well looks like we've been found out after all. Come on Balthazar no use hiding now." Apollo stepped from around the corner and waved. Cyrus had a good chuckle at his apprentice and his friend. It was good to see him getting into no good for once.

Bree listened to Meia, taking it all in. She closed her eyes, and opened one when the man named Cyrus said something. She gave the slightest of smiles and a wave, before frowning at his other comment. "Please, by all means. Keep your perversion to yourself. I don't want to accidentally kill you, now." She said, seriously and jokingly. At the mention of Balthazar and Apollo, Bree smiled. They couldn't outwit Meia, and if they had.. Bree would have picked up on it. She sighed and snorted, sticking her nose in the air. "Hmm."

Meia laughed as she looked back to Bree and gave her a wink. "There is a strange vampire around here calming this as hers have you meat her or her pet panthers by any chance? As you can tell Bree there are plenty of surprises around you." She laughed harder as she heard Bree's commit to Cyrus. "I knew I loved her! If I had a sister Bree you would be the one I want. You are one of a kind."

Cyrus chuckled at Bree's words as well. "I can see why the two of you are friends." He looked back over to Meia turning serious. "There's a vampire wandering around claiming this place is hers? Maybe we should investigate."

"I'll secondthat notion." Apollo said walking closer and leaning against a nearby wall.

Balthazar stayed back still, unsure wheither or not he should come out. He never had been one to run in and greet he was always shy, and stillw as unsure about everything.
