well, it all depends on what she likes, but in my opinion, the flower ones are the prettiest.

Well, it depends upon your mum's sense of style.
I think the flower ones are prettiest, but they might be a bit... young for a 51 year-old, if you know what I mean.
So maybe the "blooming" ones? They're still fresh and pretty, but they'd also go well with a more mature dress sense.

It's sweet that you want to go all-out for your mum's birthday, but don't you think giving your mum money too is a bit much?

It would depend on her sense of style. Personally I would buy my mom either the 'hearts and diamonds', 'sparkly' or the 'gems'.

The 'flowers' seem more 25-yr-old-ish to me, and 'blooming' is something my (fashionable yet, yes, old) grandmother would wear.

I think the money and the roses are a great idea though. My older sister, older brother, and I once gave my mom and dad $100 bucks to go have a fancy dinner just the two of them. They loved it.

I would buy her the sparkly. just cuz she could wear those pretty much year round & they would be very pretty
