Gavin held his cell in one hand and fished Sylvie’s phone out of her purse, “Ok what’s her number?” He didn’t want to give anymore names, the usher looked a bit too interested in their conversation, and it was making Gavin nervous. He noticed Sylvie having a bit of trouble with the trays so he took the packaged goods and put them in her purse and set the popcorn on top of the drink trays. He took the extra tray off her hands and handed it to the usher, “Sorry about this, but we’ll be fine with one tray, or would you like me to take this one back to the refreshment counter.” The usher stared at him and took the tray off his hands, then smiling eerily at Gavin he said, “No problem sir, please make your way to theater 13. Your film is about to begin.” Chills went up Gavin’s spine as he returned to Sylvie’s side. Listening into his phone for Holly’s number.
Marissa crashed into her bed and blackout before her head even hit the pillow. She slept through the whole night, but had strange dreams of wonderful magic and evil beings. When she awoke it was only 6 am and Illusious was still nowhere to be found. Marissa showered and changed into a clean uniform, then went into the kitchen and started breakfast. She made some pancakes, a fruit salad and got out milk from the refrigerator. She’d need to go grocery shopping after school today, so she made a quick list of things she’d need while she was looking in the fridge and pantry.

Alex was thinking. "Umm....Oh her numbers 450-0013 call her and go into your theater. She's going to be transport herself there and she'll be there as soon as she gets her ticket. I'll be there behind her. If there is someone who can sense magic we both can't go in at the same time. Just keep her on the phone untill she is sitting next to you in the theater." He pulled away from the phone and looked at Holly whispering. "Transport there now." And putting the phone back up to his ear. Tell me when you have her on Sylvie's phone."
"Orphus paupus, Habeas corpus, Tempu tempore, Nunc transportus." Holly mumbled under her breath before popping up right infront of the movie theater and smiling. "One ticket to see....umm...I can't decide let's go with whatever is in theater 13. That's my lucky number." She grinned and took the ticket from the lady and walked to the ticket man. Something was definitly wrong with him. She even got that scary feeling. That didn't happen often...
{Hehe her cell pbone number equals 13 and the spell is from a movie I've never heard of.}

Lyna yawned as she woke up to the smell of pancakes, she stood up and shook her fur out, before she shiftted into her human form and got dressed. She rebraided her hair as she went to the bathroom, once she was done she made her way to the kitchen. "Good morning, it smells good." She said to her as she moved out of the way as she went about the kitchen, she moved and sat down at the table, watching Marissa's movements like a cat would. HEr speech was still broken and it seemed hard for her to speak but she did no the less.

Sylvie, only being privy to one half of the conversation, didn't know who Gavin was calling, or what exactly was going on. But if he had friends that could help, well, best just to go with the flow. Including letting Gavin do whatever he needed with the trays or the phones. Or was it? She shivered as the usher spoke to her date. Theater 13 loomed, like a cave, or a black hole from which no sound could escape. Or something out of every horror movie Sylvie had ever seen.
With her newly unencumbered hand, she dug around the in her purse, wincing at the crackling of the plastic goodie bags, until her fingers rested on a small cylinder of pepper spray. It was meant to look like a tube of lipstick, and Sylvie carried it out of habit. She was a small woman living alone, after all, and it made her feel better. Maybe it would come in handy. But hopefully it wouldn't come to that.
She took another look at the usher, and then asked, "Gavin… Are you sure you don't want to see a rom-com instead?"

Gavin used Sylvie’s phone to call the number and Holly answered right away. Then Gavin looked at Sylvie and put his phone away, “We’re going to go into the theater, my friends are on their way. Everything will be ok.” He started walking in the direction of the ominous theater room number 13.
Marissa heard Lyna walk in and made her a plate, “Good morning, and thank you. I hope it’s alright, I’m honestly not the best cook.” She set their plates on the table and started eating. Marissa hadn’t realized how hungry she was, in all the excitement of yesterday she’d forgotten about dinner. “I have school today, are you enrolled in a school? Oh, wait I’m sorry, how old are you? You look very young.” If Marissa had to guess she was younger than her, she was very timid, except for when she transformed. Marissa thought it must be wonderful to take the shape of any creature you choose.

Holly pushed past the ticket guy who wouldn't let her through and ran to the theater. Something was really wrong. The guard knew she was a witch, she could tell. "Gavin I'm in the theater where are you sitting?" She whispered looking around theater thirteen it was so wrong. It seemed old and everything was in 13. There were 13 rows with 13 chairs. 13 lights, and 13 speakers. Even 13 dots in the fabric of each chair....13, evil, everywhere.
(Overuse of 13?)

(nah, 13 is eery. Oh and Cica, sorry I'm pushing your character around :( but action and mayhem is coming!)
Gavin and Sylvie stayed at the back of the theater and watched Holly rush inside, past where they stood in the dark corner by the door. He didn’t want to led Sylvie into danger so they were skirting it. “We’re by the doors, I don’t want Sylvie in any danger.” He whispered the last part, the last thing he wanted was to frighten her anymore then was necessary.

"I am 18, and i don't go to school. I haven't really every been to a school." she answered in reply to the girl's questions, she was more of a girl that travelled around and learned things that she picked up on the way. She ate her breakfast, it was actually quite good, well better then what she had been eatting. "Your a really good cook. This food is delicious." she said between mouth fulls, she was being really nice and hospital towards her and it was more then she had gotten in her life in a while.

((Heh. S'okay, Viki. You're posting so fast, though!))
"We really shouldn't…" Sylvie started, but followed Gavin, anyway. It was as though the theater itself compelled them. She started thinking about black holes again, and her grip on the pepper spray bottle tightened even as she focused on balancing the tray.
"Wait, your friends? Do I know them? Is that...?" She asked as a stranger brushed by, keeping her eyes on Gavin. It was brighter in the theater than she'd expected, but it looked wrong, sounded wrong, smelled wrong. It felt wrong. The floors weren't sticky at all, and the screen was blank. Sylvie was very certain it wouldn't be showing the disaster film they'd wanted to see, and wasn't sure she wanted to know what would be playing instead.

13 seconds went by and 13 steps were taken so Holly was standing next to them. "Did anyone else notice everthing is 13? The movie is 169 minutes which is 13x13, there are chairs in 13 rows and when alex gets here there will be 13 people in the theater. If we see 13 black cats, run." Take 14 steps before you sitdown....and if you stop walking before that recount your steps. Don't follow 13."

Gavin threw the tray into the garbage and held Sylvie’s free hand, “I won’t let anything happen to you.” He squeezed her hand and started walking, making sure to count out 14 steps, he led Sylvie into the theater and didn’t let go of her hand when they sat down. He looked at Holly then, “What do we do now?” He whispered low in the unnatural silence. He had so many questions, too many thoughts running through his head. Mostly he worried for Sylvie’s safety. They heard a door open and then the lights went out and the screen lit up. There was a robed figure standing in front of a large gate, the wrought iron over the gate read Cemetery. The figure opened the gates and floated over the gravestones of many unnamed people, until it stopped in front of a tomb. It opened the doors and there, as Gavin watched, were the souls of the dead. They were trying to get to the afterlife, but the doors were closed and sealed. Not even the figure could get through, then it turned to face the camera. The darkness of the hood hid it’s face, but as it reached out you could see a skeletal hand reach towards the camera. Gavin jumped as he realized the hand was reaching through the screen for them, and there was more than one skeletal hand reaching out for the life inside the theater!
Marissa finished eating and watched Lyna eat, “Well I have to leave soon, but why don’t you come with me? I’ll tell them you’re my cousin and you can see if you like it. I don’t have any school friends, and if you don’t like it then you won’t ever have to go back. The only draw back is you can’t shift, and you have to keep your clothes on.” Marissa smiled and giggled a little bit, she wished that she could feel free enough to not wear clothes and not feel embarrassed. She started to clean up her dishes while Lyna continued to eat, she was lucky to be on her own and not have to worry about school.

Funny. Sylvie hadn't realized just how old-fashioned Gavin was until now. She was an independent woman, and did a rather good job of taking care of herself, she thought. But the concern was touching, just the same. "I won't let anything happen to you, either," she replied, snapping out of the fear just a bit. His grip was so tight, she suspected that he was afraid, too. And she had no idea who his friend was, or what her intentions were…
And then the movie started, and she stared. This was not 3D. They didn't have the glasses for it, and besides, it was much too real. Sylvie cringed back in her seat as the hand reached out of the screen, and decided that maybe pepper spray wouldn't do much after all.

Holly put a protection spell on Gavin and Sylive. 13 creatures were on the screen. "Uhhhh...pray Alex gets here soon." She said placing a hand on both there arms and mumbling a spell, nothing happened. "Dark magic can't fight dark magic."
Alex shoved the locked door open and ran to Holly's side. "Crap." He whispered in her ear. "Any Ideas?" He asked not sure what to do.

Gavin looked up at Alex, “I have a great idea! Let’s get (insert profanity here) out of here!” He looked at Sylvie with concern, “Sorry about all this.” The whole time the skeletal hands were reaching out for their life force, some of the audience members in the front began to seize up.

"Sorry, i have tried the whole school thing once but I am just to much of a animal to be in one." Lyna said to the girl, a smile on her face as she took her food free dishes into the kitchen to be clean. She was sorry she couldn't go to school with the girl but when she first tried it, she was like wild animal trapped in a city full of people. School just wasn't for her, she could live with wearing clothes and not shiftting for a while but the whole wearing shoes and being forced to be in a building with a lot of other 'humans' that was what made her crazy. She could stand being around a few but she was more or a wild child the anything else.

"That could work....." Alex said looking over to Holly. "We need to stay together but just in case anything happens we'll meet back at Gavin's appartment. Sylvie make sure you stay near Holly at all times and Gavin stay near me." He looked at them and back up to the screen. " If anyone else happened to notice that ticket guy is going to want us back in here and we have to get out of here by going right near the screen. So run as fast as you possably can. And don't look back at the screen. Pretend it's not even there." His voice was hiding any emotion he had because really he had no idea what was going on outside this theater. They might not even be at the theater for all he knew. They could be somewhere else entirely.
Holly put a hand on Sylvie's arm and looked at her. "Are you ready? Just don't think about what's going on. We can explain about it later." She said standing up from her seat and reaching back for Alex's hand. Nothing would happen to them. They were technically already dead so life sucking creatures wouldn't hurt them. But other magical creatures might. "Lets go."

Getting out of the theater, or whatever it was, seemed like a brilliant idea. Not as brilliant as not entering in the first place, but that ship had sailed. She had no idea who these people were, either. But what choice did she have?
She looked straight at Holly, and replied, "I'm not ready for any of this, but let's go anyway. Run fast and don't look back, right?" Thank goodness she hadn't worn heels.

Gavin still held Sylvie’s hand and nodded his head, he stayed near Alex and led Sylvie behind him. He hoped he wasn’t moving too fast as they made their way down the aisle. Were they seriously heading for the emergency exit? How ironic if this actually worked, Gavin kept his focus. He concentrated on not looking at the screen, there was movement in that direction, but he didn’t turn to look. That’s when he started hearing blood curdling screams coming from the front of the theater.

Sylvie, both hands occupied, dashed. It was an awkward arrangement at best, and she didn't know how they managed. On the other hand, maintaining coordination took concentration, which made it easier not to pay attention to the screen. At least until the screaming started.
"Oh, shit." Sylvie's feet were still moving, but she could feel herself slowing down. Suddenly negotiating the strangely clean floor seemed easier, as did not getting tangled in her skirt. "What about everyone else here?"

"What?" Holly said suprised almost at the exit. She pushed them into the little hallway so they were out of the theater area. "How am I suppose to save everyone else?!" She demanded to know letting go of Sylvie's hand and looking between her and Gavin. Alex frowned and glanced back into the theater. It seemed as though most of the people were already gone.... "I'll go get them. Holly get them away from here. Do not wait for me. Understood?" Alex said kissing her softly before turning back and running into the theater where glass shattering sreaks began to sound. Holly took Sylvie's hand again and pulled them out of the theater.

Gavin's hand was still holding onto Sylvie's, and he reluctantly followed. How could this have gone so wrong, looking back he wanted to help Alex. He was useless in these matters, but he felt he needed to something! "Can't we help him in some way?" The anger showed plainly on his face, if anything happened to Alex it would be his fault.

"He...said no. I have to get you guys out of here." Holly said taking deep breaths. "You think I want to leave him alone in there?" She asked looking around for her car, but she didn't have a car. "Okay, where's your car? You two need to go back to Gaven's place. Then we can figure out what's going on. Alex will be fine, he has to be."
Alex looked around the theater pulling whomever he could over to the doorway where Holly, Gavin, and Sylvie had been. More screams sounded and they were making him want to scream. The more they would fight the more difficult everything would be. No one had noticed him except the ones he had gotten out. Still he continued to shove them to the doorway. Some people were already gone. There were only about 6...oh no never mind 5 left.

"We walked," Sylvie gasped, not that they'd run all that far. This had been a stressful evening. "This is a walking sort of town. People like to walk. In town. Out of town they drive, but we walk a lot, especially when it's a nice day out. When it's cold the streets are busier. Except when it snows, then they're not busy at all. We did walk, didn't we Gavin?" She was babbling, and she knew it, but she still had no idea what was going on, and talking was easier than thinking. Somehow, she really didn't want to think too deeply about what was going on.
She did, anyway. "We are in the same town, right? We didn't go through the door into some… some parallel dimension or something right? Is your watch working? Are you sure we can't do anything?"

Holly was biting her nails and the skin around them. "OH JUST SHUT UP! IF THERE WAS SOMETHING I COULD DO DON'T YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE DONE IT ALREADY???!!!!" She exclaimed dropping Sylvie's hand. "Yes we're in the same town, and if you walked then why are we standing around? WE NEED TO GO!" She didn't show it but she was twice as upset as she was angry. You try being with the same person for like 400 years and leaving them somewhere where they could die!
