Thank you for taking the time to visit my thread. If you're here you're either curious as to what "Warrior Cats" are, or you are aware and are interested in roleplaying an Advanced Multi-Paragraph, Mature Roleplay concerning author, Erin Hunter's best selling books Warriors.

First off I'll let you guys know a little about me- if you don't want to know just skip down to the information about the roleplay XD; the creator of this upcoming roleplay. I am Foxberry, I've been roleplaying since 1998. I originally started roleplaying "premade" characters such as Sailor Pluto, Aerith Gainsborough, and various others in Yahoo! Chat. I soon branched away into creating my own characters as I have always seen them as more creative for a person. My first character was a really lame character called "lone_she_wolf_of_the_valley".

My mentor, my best friend taught me how to Para-roleplay or T1, which is what it was called at the time opposed to T2 which was straight lined roleplay that was called Type 2. Type 1 involved well thought out, paragraph roleplay now known as Advanced Literate roleplay. I have taught many various roleplayers how to roleplay by T1 standards and I continue to seek out other roleplayers who can do T1 aka Advanced Literate roleplay. Which is why I am venturing forth with this roleplay.

I have enjoyed Warriors since my sister brought the first book home from school. At first I was not very fond of the book but it has grown upon me. I have had two personal Warriors based roleplays in the past but no one truly had dedication in those roleplays. I also joined two others, one seemed to fall through; the other- I was removed without warning for "challenging" a situation that dealt with people having to post 20 (multi paragraph) times in a mini rp before they join the main roleplay, with a moderator who had it out for me pretty much from the beginning.

Roleplay info starts here!

In short I want to start another roleplay for Warriors. I have hosted and moderated various other roleplays but as of late I have become a bit... Secluded, a bit of a hermit in roleplay so my skills are a little... Rusty; I want to start a new roleplay to learn more from others, and to teach others the art of Advanced Literate Roleplay.

Now; for this roleplay, it may take me some time to transfer information (rules and other important info NOT roleplay) from an old board of mine to Mene. I have already made a form of how I wish things to be taken care of on a previous board... And it's just a matter of transfering information. However I am changing a little bit of things for this roleplay opposed to the other.

For one I have recently moved and all of my Warrior books are on the east coast; I live on the west-coast. So I have not gotten past the first series, Firestar's Quest. Which means;

1.) All characters are going to be in an AU (Alternate Universe) setting.

2.) All characters are Original Characters they are NOT related to any of the characters in Erin Hunter's books.

Now let me elaborate upon number 1. Because it is an AU roleplay; the storyline will go back to it's roots before the cats moved to their new lands. For one I am not in the second series yet and I'd like to prevent spoiling the series for myself... And maybe for others who would are still in the first series or who are just starting.

As for number 2. All characters are ORIGINAL Characters; meaning they are YOUR characters not Erin Hunter's. You cannot have a character related to Firestar for example; because he has never existed. Nor has any of the events in the second series; meaning the cats are still in their original homes. I hope that's not too much of a spoiler for others- but it is required knowledge.

In any case, I will be start working on the thread very soon for Warriors.

If you want you may start thinking of characters. Do NOT start making characters however as I have specific rules for characters made in this Warriors roleplay.

I am aware that we need 4 leaders, possibly 5 if we choose a certain other clan; but we shall see. With this in mind; those who are interested in acting as a clan leader- I will have a Forum for you to fill out and apply for these positions. I will not promise positions to anyone until things are set in stone. So please keep a lookout for updates coming up, maybe by the morning hours of Monday.

Also- I do want to note that I have noticed there is another Warriors Roleplay however it seems to be dead as of August 15th. I also want to have a more structure and what not within my roleplay.

Please note if you have NO prior experience with Warriors I most likely will NOT accept you as a Leader or Deputy... The manga does NOT count for reading the series if that is all that you have read.

Post an incident that may happen while Creekpebble is showing you around your territory. It may be anything from an attack from another clan or it might be your first prey! Elaborate.

2.) An enemy clan attacks your camp! You are Thrushreed, a fierce warrior! You must protect the nursery at all costs, but several cowardly cats are ready to attack both you and the precious kits within! Becareful not to GodMod here.

3.) You are Honeystar, an elegant she-cat. A troublesome prophecy has been given unto you by your Medicine cat, Hedgepelt. You are forced to decide between two dangerous situations; what would you do? Feel free to be elaborate as you want; if you want make up the prophecy and the two situations you must choose from.

4.) You are Falcontail, deputy of the clan. You have noticed some strange behavior within your leader... You find yourself unnerved by the recent actions from your leader... Many cats are worried and ask you if you will forcefully remove the steadily growing senile leader to protect your family. Will you do what these cats are asking? On one paw; your clan may be in trouble from the strange mullings of your leader, on the other hand you risk treason. Decide what is the best solution; (note that this will not automatically reject you from the position you are filling it's just a roleplay sample that I am looking for for the most part).

3.) You have come across a strange scent in your territory; will you investigate this or report it back to your superiors? Choose. What might happen if you investigate it? What would happen if you report back to your Deputy or Leader?

4.) A strange dream wracks you every night; what is this dream? You decide to tell Hedgepelt about it, what is her thoughts on your strange dream?

Essentially the same as the Leader and Deputy Positions above, however less extensive. None the less, I expect posts to be well detailed and nicely written, free as possible from grammatical error and etc.

EDIT: I have given two more prompts for this as I felt those who are wanting to be kits, apprentices or warriors would like more variety. X3

Warrior OOC Code

1.) Follow Mene TOS.

2.) Mods and Admin are Mods and Admin for a reason in this roleplay (and on Mene for those who are Mene Mods/Admin), don't treat them like crap. In fact, don't disrespect everyone. This means, do NOT bring drama on this board. It is NOT allowed.

3.)
A.) Please, for the love of StarClan, post at least 2 paragraphs least 5-7 lines. This is is a literate roleplay, meaning that you have to put effort into your posts. I'm not asking 20+ paragraphs per post- just try to make the rp fun.

B.) When posting, do not use the quote function for other users posts. It stretches the page and makes it look terrible. Also, do not, and I cannot repeat this enough, do not use emoticons or chat speech in your posts. It's a terrible pet peeve of mine, and if I catch you, you will get a warning PM from me or from one of the other mods.

C.) Abide by Kitty-Storage (See the thread talking about this in the Info Board). You MUST be an active member here to play.

4.) Don't GodMod/Auto. You may not make other cats do something, unless you have specific permission, this includes killing someone's cat.

5.) Follow the forum listed to create your character.

6.) Cats cannot be created in weird colors. i.e.: Hot pink. Only exceptions are shades of blue, red and orange. Weird coat patterns, will be looked into, but as always your characters have to be approved by Kitsu-Feathers and appropriate Mod you are applying to. The only prefixes suffixes not allowed are names like "StarStar" and "KitKit" or current/previously used names. However if you are asked to change your cat's name, do not argue, we have reasons for not allowing these names.

7.)I have chosen to restrict the amount of characters due to issues with amount of cats. This means; you may have 3 cats only in each clan. Ie: You can have like 3 in Wind, 2 in Thunder, and 1 in Shadow, 1 in River for example. This also includes rogue and loners. As for StarClan cats, you may only have 1 and 1/2 cats... Okay not really. Seriously. StarClan cats should only have at most 4cats active at a time. This means for the ENTIRE roleplay there should be no more than 4active cats unless a leader is receiving their 9lives.

8.) Your cats cannot be direct decedents of Tigerstar and Firestar, things like that. In fact I'd like to keep their names completely out of this roleplay for this is an AU roleplay.

9.) These rules are subject to change at any time.

These are tentitive rules and WILL be changed. Those that are striked through will be explained at a later date; such as "Kitty Storage", or they are not yet ready like 5 and 7. I've simply tweaked the rules from my prior roleplay to fit here at Mene so these rules very well may change in the near future.

The reason why I have posted these OOC rules is for your benefit; if you have questions or concerns regarding this roleplay you can relate here. Further it also gives you an idea how I want to run this roleplay. Clearly I want to keep this a very active and fun roleplay for everyone while NOT restricting too much! No roleplay is fun if it is bogged down by silly rules. The ones that I have posted are very important to roleplay so people can enjoy it without being pushed aside and to prevent godmodding.

Further some of the rules posted are for curtsy factor, like the excess quoting; no one wants to read a whole string of quotes, there is no reason to quote something from two or three posts above. If the post is back three or five pages, then that may be allowed within reason.
