Other: She had a long debate with the plastic surgeon about getting green hair.

Sami was lying in her bed looking up at her ceiling, waiting for some randomer to ping her to say welcome. but nothing happened. She waited and waited.
Finally she decided to go hoverboarding and see how far her ring will let her travel.
"MC Hoverboard!" she ordered the wall, but as usual it didn't want to disobey its creators rule no. 6 : No Hoverboards allowed.
"DAMN U!!" she screamed to it kicking its door, having another tatrum. She took out her long metal stick thing and prized the doors open long enough for the hoverboard to fall out ontop of her.
"Ough" she moaned, "I hate this life."
She dressed in her best fly suit and flew out the door on her hoverboard.

Ai was enjoying her brand new life as a pretty. She lloved having green hair and gold eyes, and looking so individual. She stood out among every crowd, despite all of their own quirky features, like snakes instead of fingers.
She hadn't got the hang of hoverboarding yet, though. She liked doing it - she just fell off most of the time. Myabe it just wasn't her thing. But she enjoyed it anyway, even the painful feeling when she fell off and her crash bracelets slammed against the board.
Thinking about all this made her want to go out hoverboarding. So she grabbed it and ran out the door to her new home in New Pretty Town.
Outside, she saw another girl on a hoverboard. This girl had reddish hair and was very, very pretty. She was also very skilled with a hoverboard.
Sighing with envy, Ai climbed onto her own, knowing that she was about to suffer a painful fall. But she enjoyed it anyway. Ai was weird that way.

Something green caught in the corner of Sami's eyes, another girl with green hair was hoverboarding, she saw how hesitant the girl was. She decided to go introduce herself.

She flew over to the green haired girl, "Hey! i am Sami ive just turned pretty, what about you?"

"I'm Ai. Yeah, I just turned pretty too. Do you live here?" replied Ai, offering Sami her hand and smiling at her. She was glad to meet another pretty, and by the looks of it, this girl had a quirky sense of style as well. She had the feeling that they would be friends.

"Nice name, Ai. Ye i live here, in flat dorm thingy 666. you?" Sami replied, accepted Ai's hand.
"Wanna go hoverboarding? i was just gonna see how far the ring lets us go hoverboarding. But if the specials catch us we have to hide. Lawl it'd be fun."

"I live in flat 666 too! It's good to know someone here," exclaimed Ai. "I'd love to go hoverboarding, but I should warn you that I'm not very good. I fall off a lot of the time," she admitted.

"Practise makes purfect, is what i say." qouting a rusty saying. She hopped on again and flew away quite fast.

Ai jumped onto her own hoverboard, and tried to her best to match Sami's speed. The wind rushing past her felt wonderful, and she got an elated feeling.
Soon they were approaching the edges of the city. "How much further can we go?" called Ai over the wind.

"I dont know! thats what im trying to find out." Suddenly Sami fell, she screamed she fell and fell but her crash bracelet didnt work and her hoverboard was already miles beneath her, she should warn Ai not to come im gonna die she thought. "AI NOOOOOOOOOOooooooo..."

Ai came to a sudden stop when she saw Sami fall. This must mean they were at the end of the grid!
The only way to save her was to fly straight down, then run forwards to catch her. But she'd never manage it. Not fast enough. And even if she did fly that fast she'd fall off!
But she had to try. She turned her hoverboard instantly and flew straight down, touching the ground, She stumbled forwards to try and catch Sami.

Sami groaned, she had fallen into something brown and murky. Mud.
"Urgh, what the hell..." then she reme,bered falling off her hoverboard, she saw it further on sticking out of the mud. Where was Ai? Did Ai come down? Or did she stay up there?
"AI?!?!" she looked around frantically she had to get back up there.

Ai had fallen off her hoverboard. Not surprising, really, but she rubbed her sore head and looked around, trying to find Sami.
"Sami?!"
She grabbed her hoverboard but then realised that it wouldn't work since they were off the grid. "SAMI!"

Sami heard a strange cry, someone was calling to her.
"OVER HERE!!" she shouted, " or rather down here" she muttered afterwards.
she tried to look up but she was slowly sinking in the mud.

Ai followed Sami's voice to see her and her hoverboard sinking in the mud! "Hold on, I'll save you!"
She stopped. How on earth was she supposed to save her? If only her hoverboard worked!
"What will I do?!"

urgh, the mud was started to eat her up now, it came up to her boobs.
"A ROPE! Find A rope! or sumtin." she shouted, hoping Ai had heard her.

A rope? Of course that was the classic solution, but unfortunately this wasn't some hologram film where there was always a rope or a runner from a tree handy. Ai dug in her pockets desperately and grabbed something.
It was a scarf! Brand new and only worn once, because Ai really didn't like ti much. It was very long, a fashion which was quite new.
"Grab hold!" she called, and threw it.

something fluffy and tickled prickled behind Sami's head she was now neck deep in the mud. she forced one arm out and made a crap attempt at catching the scarf.
"i -- c-an-t " she croaked.
she tried again this time she got it faintly, "PULL!"

Ai pulled with all her might, even though her arms were screaming in protest. She wasn't used to doing anything like this, not even on one of her ugly adventures, but the life of her new friend was at stake so she put all of her effort into it.

sami was slowly being freed from the mud. she held on to the scarf for her life.
she used her feet againsthe cliff rock thing to steady herself. soon she realized tht it hadnt been such a big drop. she was a the top already.

Ai collapsed, exhausted from the effort. She lifted up her muddy scarf. "I guess it's ruined. Oh well, I never really liked it anyway..."

"im sorry, i shouldnt have pulled you into all of this." she looked down, "lets go home..."
sami blamed herself she should have known tht the grid would end... why had she been so stupid.

Then she remembered something and stopped.

"Nah, it's only starting to get fun now," grinned Ai. "What's the matter?"

Sami grinned. "Come on follow me!" she grabbed her murky hoverboards hoping it still worked, of course it did, she had triple water + mud protection coating on it.
