Ai and Kaito shifted uncomfortably and looked at the floor or the walls. Kaito cleared his throat and left the room, Ai following. they were heading towards the hovercars.

Sam quittened down after that and followed the rest quietly.
Samui regretted having shouted at him like that but he had no right to insult her like that, she looked at Ai and Kaito and mouthed sorry to them.

Ai shrugged at Sami's silent apology as Kaito opened the door of the hovercar. He sat down and began to key in the co-ordinates of their new apartment.

"We're meant to use these right?" Sami asked cautiously, Sam had retreated to the back of the car and she sat a little back from Kaito, "546m due north" she smiled at Ai, "Let's see how it goes, i hope to get some better clothes than this... due think we'd be allowed to go to a party? my bubble head needs rebubbling."

"This is the hvoercar we used to get here," said Kaito. "They don't know it's not ours."
"We should be able to go to parties," said Ai. "I think when they operated on us they installed the new skintenna, so we don't need interface rings any more!"

"Oooo goodie good. I'm sure if we get Sam to a partaayyyy he'll be fine riiight?!" she asked Ai back in her usual party bubble mood, since the opp she had started to forget certain things.

"Hopefully," Ai grinned. She started going through the feeds with her new skintenna. "And since the Specials don't know about the skintennas, they won't be able to track us using them!"

"You sure they don't know right? I mean when i used to do research back home, they've got pretty nasty ways of finding things... " Sami remembered when she tracked a group of specials on the outskirts digging out someone's brain for information... naaasty!

Ai shivered. "I don't see how they could know about our operations. If the Specials were nearby they would flag the hospitals so that if we appeared they'd know about it. Since they havent' found us yet, I guess they're not in the city."

"Let's hope so," Sami checked out the feeds and learnt a whole load of stuff about this new city, it was the most recent and up to date city. She looked at some of the most recent stories, some skateboarders reaching new heights... then she saw it... 'girl explored the outskirts for... rusties!' "o ehm geee... guys look at this, a girl explored the outskirts to find rusties!!!"

"Wow," said Ai. "Maybe we should meet this girl." She started reading the story herself.

"Maybe we should... but was she researching it for real or just mucking about?" Sami asked out loud, "Either way we need to meet her, she's called... let me see... ehm... Lola..." Sami pulled a face when she read the name... Lola? Who had a name like that!

"Lola Vienne," said Ai. "Weeeeeeird."
"We're in another city," Kaito reminded them. "All names might be different here. Aaaand - we're here."
"Awesome, let's check out the new apartment!"

"Oo yyeeey!" Sami jumped out the hovercar and opened the door leading to the appartment, she checked the map. "ugh top floor no lift... i am sooo not used to this!"
In her old apartment she just took the light speed lift to get to her appartment... but then again that was when she was famous and able to afford these luxuries now she had to hide with the rest of them and with limited face rankage...
She turned round and noticed that Sam was still in the hovercar, "Come on Sam!! Hurry Up!!"

"No lift?" Ai glanced around. She frowned. "That's very low tech. I thought everywhere had lifts..."
"New city," Kaito reminded, pushing his new dark blue hair out of his eyes. It suited him very, very well, Ai had to admit.

Sam came over to them scuffling his feet along the floor, Sami sighed and started the way up to the appartment. Luckily pretties dont get exhausted from excercise but still laziness exists especially in Sami. Sam came up close behind her, "Im sorry for back there... i'll i'll try and adapt .. i ve forgotten a bit... already." his eyes looked sad but happier than she's seen them since the opp. She grabbed his hand and smiled at him , "Don't worry about kk?"

It wasn't too long until they reached the apartment floor. Ai stepped aside so that Sami could open the door with her Skintenna, since it was her who'd claimed the place.

It took Sami a few moments before she found the way to open the door, it was a whole new system... cheap appartment but still highly secured. She walked through and let the others in before closing the door again, it closed with a loud click.

"All right," said Ai, looking into the two bedrooms. "Wow, this place is pretty good for a low-tech-no-lift apartment!"
She jumped onto one of the beds and stretched out. It was unbelievably comfortable, and after all they'd been through recently, she was in desperate need of relaxation.

Sami jumped on the other and tested it by jumpign up and down a few times, "yesyes verrrry goood nice and BOUNCYYYY!!!" she jamp like crazy until her skintenna restricted her and made her lie down... "Ugh new safety features i see.... where's the loophole"

"Emergency setting," grinned Ai. She found out how to activate the emergency setting on the Skintenna which thought that she was in danger. "Now it should let me do anything."

"Genius," Sami did the same and started jumping on the bed, "Ahhh good good , i do love my session of jumping." she grinned wildly and Sam looked at her strangely, it must be hard for him to take all of this in.
"Is there something like i dunno old animal skin i could change into... " he asked looking at Sami and Ai's and KAito's overly confused faces he quickly added, "Oops, old tiiimes ehm hole in wall maybe?"
Sami smiled, "sure, " she opened the holw with her skintenna and chose a nice outfit for Sam, some plain blood red trousers and a tight checkered shirt that amplified his chest muscles, ahh thats better. She smiled to herself, "There you go."
Sam looked at himself... a little different that his usual clothes... "uehmm ehm alright... " he laughed nervously, "thanks"

"New clothes!" Ai threw herself off her bed and started ordering a huge pile of stuff from the Hole before wading through it. Kaito laughed, took Sam by the arm, and led him out of the room.
"The girls will probably want to change," he said.

"EEEK yes yes!!! OMIPRETTIIIIES i LOVE THIS SHIRT!!!!" Sami laughed her head off and held up a blood red dark blue checkered shirt that came down just above the knees with a pair of Denim skinnies, "Whatdja fink?!"

"Awesome," said Ai, grinning. "On you, anyway. Not sure it would suit me." She rummaged through some more stuff from the hole in the wall and held up various cute tops and started to try them on.
