And don't give me that look! I only started watching it a couple weeks ago...half way through season 4! I need to go back and watch the first seasons (obviously) but Mam was watching it, I listened in and started watching it and I loved it! It's like Death Note only Dexter doesn't have supernatural powers or a god complex. He's just an affectionless psychopath (a litteral term given to me by my psychology teacher)

Yeah-watch seasons 1-3 before you watch anymore of 4. In a way, you get to see the evolution of Dexter as things happen both life with his sister/family and in his own business. So if possible, try not to watch too much of season 4 for now and watch the other series as soon as you can.

Nice. I'll try to get some done while i'm at uni, but odds are i'll have to wait till I get back home, otherwise I'll have a fair bit of stuff that i'll need to bring back with me!

Carting this around is always very annoying. I know what I'm getting for some people but others are just so hard to shop for!!!!!! Oh well. If I can get some of it outta the way then that's half the battle. (and keeping it hidden is one quarter)

That is very true. It doesn't help me either that some people don't know what they want from me, so i'm still have to wait until I find out what I need to get them!

When all else fails get them a gift vouture or give them some money so they can get something that they like. That's what I'll do with my dad probably since I've got no idea what to get him!

I like surprises. I like getting surprises and I like giving surprises. That's what a present should be like :)

Yeah...but I usually suck at that kind of thing. I'd end up buying them something that I'd want, which usually most of my family wouldn't want!

And I do agree with you there, but usually there is something that someone will want me to get them for christmas, hence the current system. It's just waiting for them to make their minds up!
