And I'm Back. MG, methinks I'll be having a look at Code Geass. It does sound interesting, and the Mecha image I saw for Burai (I think) makes me wanna see more! Though I'll reserve judgement on those characters until I have seen them in the show. That sound fair?

Yay! I think you'll like Code Geass. If you watch it in english (which I highly recomend avoiding) then the guy that does Lelouch's voice (the main character) is also the guy that does Ichigo's voice. He's a pretty good voice acter. Although I absolutely HATE the voices of Nunally, Nina and Euphemia! They're just...blech! And reserving judgement seems fair.

No major changes needed so far. I havne't changed much yet since I've been on mene for most of the time but I'll do my thing and hopefully get it back to you tomorrow after schoo, that sound okay?

I have no problems with that. I'll get to working on more of the chapter and I might have it done within the next couple of days if I don't distract myself too much with Menewsha, Music and Fanfics (...slams head on desk for jinxing it). Have fun at school. I don't have to worry about learning till October, and I have a week of (pretty much) mandatory drinking before then. (Sighs) I can't wait to get back to university!

And I know who you're on about. The guy has done LOADS of voice acting (He recently voiced Bumblebee in the newest Transformers game). He did a fair bit of live action stuff as well before voice acting. Hell, it was after doing some of his voice over stuff for a live action show that he was asked to do voice acting, which led to his lead role in Trigun as Vash the Stampede (Which reminds me, I still have that little...skit, stuck in my head. I might actually get to writing that soon!)

Yeah-but will you be living with a crowd that will most likely be drinking and end up getting YOU to drink, with a chance of having to get up for a 9am lecture with possibly LESS than 5 hours sleep while either still drunk OR a nursing a hangover. If not, then I think you'll be slightly better off.

I wouldn't complain normally, but I don't get my timetable till 2 days before I move back, so I won't know what could be happening until then (Which is kinda annoying, since I know some people at other uni's who haven't started but ALREADY have their timetable!)

Ouch...I pity you. If you Do end up drinking though try not to half too much or you'll most likely vomit, probably in the middle of your lecture or something, that's bound to happen.

I normally manage to avoid that part when I drink, so I should be alright. It's not like I'm far from campus-my accommodation is only just across the road from the building I have my lectures in. It's not like I commute every day or have a long ass walk/bus ride!

And yes, I did. If I recall, it was the 1st piece of VA work for the Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo's Voice Actor in Bleach Dub-which reminds me, I think they started airing new dubs in the US a few days ago). He voiced Vash, and mentioning the show reminded me of a little...fanfic skit, that was cooked up in a brief period of insanity!

Oh yeah, I used to watch Trigun dubbed ^^ My uncle got my brother the box set for his birthday, and I ended up watching it instead. For an English dub, he did a pretty good job. Although I prefer his japanese voice, I think.

Meh-to each their own.
I got the complete series for £25 a few months ago (It was down from £60) and it's got both audio versions, so I can watch either. But he did do a good job, and I think it was his first one, as I said earlier.

Trigun is the only anime series I have on DVD ^.^ Apart from Cowboy Bebop, but I only have one of the DVDs of that and it's the second one

I think it's still that price at the Forbidden Planet in town. I'll probably try and watch some of that in the week, but sometimes you do get that problem in dubs with names. Bleach does a good job with pronouncing the Japanese names though if you ask me. It can differ from shows. Some get it right and others just screw up royally! Or as you said, it could just be you. I'll probably be able to say more when I actually get to watching the show.

I went to the Forbidden Planet in Edinburgh and they had almost nothing except action figures... so I went to the Forbidden Planet in London and had a look at some of the prices on the DVDs there. See, I've never bought an anime DVD before. Trigun was given to us as a present, and the rest of the animes I watch, I watch them online. So when I saw £30 for all of series 1 Code Geass my instant reaction was "No way". Although looking back on it, that price wasn't bad.
The other day I was in HMV and piked up a Naruto SHippuuden DVD because it had Deidara's face on the cover (I have to pick up anything with Deidara's face on it!) and was shocked to see that it cost £20 for 12 episodes. 12! Why pay that when you can watch it online? So I didn't buy it. >_<

Thats fair enough. The forbidden planet here isn't the biggest store you'll see, but its got a fair amount stuff-and definitely a LOT more than just action figures. £30 for a whole series definitely isn't bad-How many eps is it, cuz if it's more than 15, thats good value for money.
And yeah, £20 for 12 eps is a rip off. Truth be told, I've lost a bit of interest in Naruto because the story is just...getting confusing, IMO. I'm prefering Bleach and One Piece (Which is on holiday till the end of the month T_T) Mangas. Bleach is definitely getting interesting!

Yeah, the first series of Code Geass is 25 episodes. I probably should have bought it, but ah well. I'm not allowed to watch so much stuff online any more, because the cost of downloading last month was huge. now my family are monitoring what I download >_<

(Winces) Ouch about that, but why were you downloading them? I'm pretty sure there's a load of sites that you can watch 'em on for free, so no worrying about downloads. But it's tales like that that make me somewhat happy my folks have an internet with unlimited downloads (I think. I've downloaded a few bits and haven't heard anything bad...yet).
And yeah-that seems to be happening a lot in anime, killing off lots of the characters. I don't know why they do that, especially when they do it to some of the fans favourite characters!

Apparently even if you watch it online, it counts as a download. Don't ask me how. My brother gets unlimited download at uni. I is jealous of him. Not to mention the fact that he's got two computers, when I've got one with a terrible internet connection.
Well, in Naruto, it seems to me that when a good guy dies, he gets brought back to life (I'm not being sexist by saying he because it is always the guys), whereas if a bad guy dies, he's dead.

Wow I missed quite a lengthy conversation. I remember in HMV I paid £10 for the Devil May Cry series, it had subbed and dubbed and it's twelve episodes long series so I think it was a good deal.
Ebay's a good place to get cheap box sets.

Hey again MG. Don't worry-I'm not that cruel. I won't spoil anything! And I think I've seen the same deal at the HMV here, if not cheaper in a couple of other stores. I've never really bought stuff online-I prefer trying to buy it from stores when I can.
