I have a question - how long do the items stay in the celebrity shop, and do they let you know when they are leaving???

I'm still quite confused. I know how to get currency, I just don't know what would be a good buy, etc.

I love Poupee! I have an account even though I'm a MAN, LOL. I love cute things...

It's really addicted. I feel so pressured into changed my outfit (or at least resaving my current one) because of the ribbon bonus. That reason actually makes me like it a lot more, since it gives you something to do/look forward too. I only wish there was more to do.

I love the new V-Day items. I really want some of the dresses and the shoes, but I don't have enough ribbons at the moment. I could buy like...one dress but then I wouldn't have anything that matched with it. xD

I love the new Valentines clothes! The celebrity clothes weren't that flas and the jewel ones were o.k. I absolutly adore the little cups of tea and the strawberry dress.

I'm glad I'm not too fond of the Valentine's Day items. There are only a couple that I want. I don't wear dresses on Poupee that often, and since most of the items are dresses, I'm not really excited about many of them. I do, however, like the sweets set. XD

This is the hardest event for me to spend the ribbonz. and I just had 1k.
I think I'll try to get more ribbons...to get some itens in the furima.

I only bought the teacups, lol. Big pouffy, girly clothes are not to my taste at all, so unless they add more things that are less saccharine I won't be spending any more ribbons this event xD

I think my question on the last page was missed since it was on the bottom. - How do you know when items are leaving the celebrity shops?

Also, how do you know which bags will open and have items like the paper lolita one?

Angel- are you talking about the shop's like NOZOMI's and AYU's?
I'm not sure when those end; they'll probably say if they'll leave?

as for the V-day celebrity, it says it ends on Feb. 28th X3;;

the paper bags I think you're talking about are the lucky bags?
I'm not completly sure, but I think those are once a year? They had lucky bags back in January I think..
you can just buy the items you wanted
in the market once they are released/unlocked
(if you don't know, items from Katherine's shop (like the lucky bags) have an unlock time,
months after the items are not availble in her normal store anymore. )

don't buy the actual paper bags from the market though;
these are empty (but can still be used as an accessory)

as for good buys, things that can be used in many outfits are usually what most people want
(ex. a pair of pink stockings that you can wear with many matching oufits,
as opossed to a large, puffy dress that can't layer much and you can only wear for special occasions)

if you see an item you like in the market, right click and view properties;
there will be a code you can copy&paste into the bar on the item viewer site,

I did mean the Lucky Bags. I did not know how common they are - I guess it is for Chinese New Year.

I saw the list of things that come from the bags a few pages back, but did not see the link you gave.

I'll have to keep the livejournal tool in mind.

They'll post an announcement about it whenever they're going to discontinue any major items, usually. So we should have a few days' warning before it happens.

There are "lucky bags" for this event too, don't forget. I believe the limited items (the chocolate hearts in the ribbons shop and the bears and the pink thing from jewels) are meant to change into something else on White Day in March.

The announcement for any celebrity shop item removals would be in the topics bar right under your avatar's room, right?

And how do you tell if something is a bag that will open? The already sold out wrapping carry bags seem like the most likely item to be a package to me. I do see about the dated limited items being likely to change on the removal date.

I know that there are some poupees that you can vote for, but .... since things are in Japanese I am a little lost.

Well, you can't enter anymore because the deadline was yesterday, but I'll try and explain the voting. :)

All the poupees who've entered (the theme is 'lolita') are assigned randomly to a preliminary category; A, B, C or D. Then they open each preliminary block for voting one at a time and everyone can vote for ten different poupees. They repeat this for each block, and then I think they put the winners from block A and block B against each other and everyone has to vote again, and the same for block C & D. Then there's the final round and you vote again from the winner of the last rounds, and so the winner is chosen!

To see the entries and vote you have to go Community->Contest->and click the orange button with the words 'the preliminary block A is now open' next to it to go to the entries page. You can choose ten to vote for, and there are PAGES and PAGES of entries to scroll through, so choose wisely! :D When you like a poupee, you click the button underneath it to cast your vote.

Did that all make sense? :lol:
