Auria grinned and tried to pronounce his name. "Could I just call you Daniel?" she asked. "I find it hard to pronounce your name as well." she said slightly embarrassed. She had reached forward when the bulb fell but he caught it just before she did. "I have you for art, I don't know if I have you for music though." she replied. "Unless you are teaching chior." she added, looking up at him.

"Daniel is fine." He says, nodding as he climbs on a different table, screwing in another bulb with his left hand. He does this for all the light fixtures in the room as he talks to her. "I thought as such. And, no, I don't teach choir - I can't sing very well, hah hah." He says, chuckling. "Besides, the class is an optional class, one that you come to if you're interested but it isn't assigned. It isn't even considered an official class. So, naturally, there will be few students there--and what's even better, I'm getting paid as if I'm teaching two full subjects, not one!" He laughs heartily, climbing down from the last table and lifting up the materials for the drum kit, carrying them to the back of the room.

Auria smiled and nodded. "Alright, well maybe I'll show up." she said. "Do you need help with anything?" she then asked, seeing a few more boxes of stuff he hadn't opened. "I could unpack for you." she offered. She took off her gloves and put them in the band of her skirt.

"Ah, no, it's fine. I'll get the rest myself, I could never ask a student to help." He says as he finishes assembling the drum kit and begins unpacking another box full of a class-set of utensils. "Let us see...paintbrushes, sculpting tools, pencils, erasers, sketchbooks..." He murmurs to himself as he takes out each set of tools that he lists, and then finds appropriate drawers to store them in--careful to use his left hand most of the time. "You can help me in other ways, though." He says, putting the paintbrushes into a drawer and putting a piece of tape on said drawer, writing the word 'Brushes' on it. "You can tell me when classes officially start. Is is not tomorrow? Or is it the week after tomorrow? The principal told me but I wasn't listening, because he tried to talk to me when I was moving this stuff."

Auria smiled and nodded. "It starts tomorrow." she replied. "Yea, the principal tends to talk to people at inopportune moments." she chuckled lightly. She did notice that he kept using his left hand instead of varying from left to right like most people. She looked outside and saw it was getting dark. "Well I better be off, need to get ready for classes." she said smiling at him. "It was good meeting you." she added, before putting on her gloves and walking out of his classroom.

"Have fun. See you tomorrow." He says to her as she leaves the room. "Do not oversleep!" He calls out as he begins putting another set of utensils away. The night continues for him like this, putting things away and setting up the classroom, as well as writing lesson plans and such. Ultimately, he does not return to his room until almost 1 A.M. He strips off his clothes and sits on his bed, taking some medication on the endtable next to his bed. "And so ends another day, and begins another life. I am looking forward to this." He murmurs, crawling under the covers and trying to go to sleep.

The next morning Auria woke up to her alarm clock yelling at her. She sighed and rolled out of her bed, reaching to shut it off. She yelled as she reached too far and fell out of bed. She groaned and looked around. "Ugh... stupid alarm." she muttered, getting up slowly. She yawned and stretched her arms over her head. She the gathered her clothes and went to take a shower to wake herself up.
She was soon ready for class. She bundled up for the snow. She was wearing a dark pair of blue skinny jeans, her black snow boots covering the bottoms of them. Ontop of that she was wearing a purple low-cut top under her black jacket. She wrapped a purple and white scarf around her neck and curled her hair a little more. She smiled at herself in the mirror and took off for Art. It was her first class of the day.

There is a faint sound of music emanating from the classroom. Daniel and another student are already in the classroom--ten minutes before the bell, one might add-- and Daniel is teaching said student how to play a certain rhythm on guitar. The music stops as Daniel nods and points some things out to the student on what he missed. "Okay, remember, keep your fingers on the chord GE. The notes between the GE are open strums on the top string. And then you switch to F#D, playing a high B on the top string. Don't forget to switch to F#D# on the last measure. Let's try it again." He says, tapping his foot four times--then the music starts again. The melody doesn't sound too complex, but they way they play it makes it look as such.

Auria smiled as she heard the music and rushed into the classroom so she wasn't late. "Good morning Daniel." she said with a smile as she passed by him. She found an empty desk and sat down before the bell rang. She watched him teach the other student, mesmorized by how handsome he was. She thought this even though he was her teacher. She had her sketchbook and other art supplies in her satchel.

"Good morning, Auria." Daniel says back to her as she walks by. He and the student play for a bit longer, before they look at the clock and begin to put the instruments away in the back room. The student comes out of the back room, looks at the clock, then grabs his stuff and rushes off to his class in order to not be late. Daniel walks up to the teacher's desk and begins getting out lesson plans and writing his name on the board.
The room is quite large, and there is a lot of free space for moving around. There are eight tables in the room, each one having a metal covering on the top so the paint did not stain as easily. Early morning light pours in through the window and compliments the new light fixtures, which glow with a slight orange tinge to them. On the board, Daniel writes 'Daniel Kiagxi - Angel - ART and MUSIC' and below that, he writes several nicknames that people call him - 'Daniel', 'Teacher', 'Sensei', 'Mister Xi' and others. He underlines each one as he prepares for the day. And he takes a seat as his desk, waiting for the bell to ring.

((Probably. I don't remember how many other people have art. ^^; ))
Auria folded her wings in and started doodling in her sketchbook. Mainly just a bunch of nonsense. She brushed her hair out of her face as she drew. She looked around the classroom, getting familiar with where everything was.

(Ohh i do, Cassidy im time skipping so i can catch up to other people)
Diana confidently walked into her art class, high heeled boots clacking on the tile, her grey green eyes glanced at the attractive teacher then to a table. She kept her head held high, her purple and black hair was curled and fell to the small of her back. She picked an empty table by herself in the back of the classroom and threw her purple and black bag onto it. She turned and sat on the table, well more like leaned against it, staring out the window.

Auria smiled at Diana as she walked in. She remembered her from the movie party. She then went back to her doodling, occasionally glancing at the teacher to see when he was going to start the class. Her silver hair fell in curls over her shoulder and onto the desk. She sometimes disliked that it was this long but she never had the guts to cut it off.

((I'm in the art class, Dino lol.))
Cassidy walked into the class with his back hunched over and head hung low as usual and sat in the center of the class. He dropped his books on the floor with a soft thud and pulled his sketch pad and pencils out. He began to sketch a slim figure with uneven bangs, tattered clothes and a scowl that would bore its way into your soul. He smiled and sighed, "I wonder how many people are ditching class today?" His mind wandered else where as he grew tired of drawing the sketch because he had made an entire army of them on the page.

Diana wondered what Cassidy had for class this hour. She ran a hand through her straight bangs growling slightly when they moved out of place. "Dammit" she muttered and dug through her purse for a mirror. Finding one she realized they werent going to do what she wanted so she bobbypinned them back. She felt the small silver lebre stud, she was going to wear a black one but it wouldnt match her outfit. She finally decided to sit down, she pulled out a note book and started drawing a broken heart with wings.

[Hello :D Back again, how was everybody's holidays? Seems like we got some new teachers too :boogie: Yay!]
Flipping through a page of his art book, the blue haired werewolf only gave a brief glance up at the other students coming in the class. He had arrived after a few students had and settled himself into one of the tables by the front of the room. He noticed the angel from the night before and the metal studded vamp girl from the pool. Seems there are a few werewolves as well. If he hadn't remembered to set his alarm last night, he most certainly would have missed this class. Spica had stayed up long after the movie was over, talking with the other werewolves he had met and even going to an after party at the demons' dorms. He hated waking up early but he disdained tardiness even more. The only thing odd about the movie night was a scream that echoed throughout the school. Some people had looked out the window to check where it came from but since they couldn't find the source, it was dismissed as a prank and partying was resumed.

((Yea that's fine Sugiza.
Hey Minty! My holiday was pretty good, it actually snowed here on Christmas so I think the world is going to end. Mainly because we haven't had snow on Christmas in the last 5 years. How about you?))
Auria noticed the werewolf from the pool and the party walk in. She smiled at him then went back to her drawings. Sighing she looked out the window at the snowy world that had fallen upon the school. She yawned slightly and watched as more students walked in and found their place to sit. She bent over to her bag on the floor and pulled out her set of prisma colors and started shading in the little pictures she had drawn.

[[Alright! Let's get this on the road.]]
A few minutes after the bell rings, Daniel stands up and walks to the front of his desk with a clipboard clutched in his left hand. His right hand has a glove on it. "Alright! I think that's everyone that is going to show up." He coughs. "Okay, well, let's get started. I am Daniel Kiagxi, your art teacher for this semester. You can call me whatever you wish--'Teacher', 'Sensei', 'Daniel', 'Mister Xi', it doesn't matter as long as I know you're talking to me. And, obviously, no convulsive or disrespectful names. I know it'd be fun to call a teacher 'Asshole' every time you want to talk to him, but that doesn't fly around here." He shifts the clipboard to his right arm, being careful not to hold it in his hand, and begins to call out names. "Let's see here....Akua Mirumoto? Okay, she's here..."
A few minutes later, after he's finished calling roll [[I'm not going to make up the names of 20-something students x.x]], he sets the clipboard down. "Alright! Now that the boring stuff is over, let's get down to the nitty gritty. How was your guys' vacation? Just shout it out in one word." He pauses to let them answer, then nods. "Seems like a general consensus of 'It was awesome and I don't want to be here'. That's good, that's good. Now, I have your first assignment ready, and I'll be laying down some rules for this classroom." He paces around the classroom, seeming to radiate light from his mere presence.
"Get out a piece of paper and put your name and the date at the top, and the title is 'What is art?' And, just like the title asks, I'd like for you to write and tell me exactly what you think art is. There's no length limit or content limit; it can be one sentence or ten pages. You can write down everything from 'Painting landscapes' to 'Having rough, wild sex'--it doesn't matter, I just want to know what you think is art. This assignment isn't graded by percentile, it's just graded if you did it or not." He returns to the front and sits down at the desk. "You have ten minutes. When you're finished, you can listen to music or talk to your friends or doodle or whatever; I don't care, as long as you're prepared to listen when I start speaking again. Go." He says, making a motion with his left hand to signal the time has begun. While the students are working on their papers, he watches them carefully--to see who puts the most effort in and who just slacks off because they know it's only checked to see if it's done or not.
[[If you want him to read what you wrote out loud, either post it in your message or PM it to me.]]

Spica raised an eyebrow at what the teacher was saying. Seems he has found his first interesting class for this school, something that will hopefully get him to look forward to starting his day early. After Mr. Kiagxi's speech, he looked down at his mostly blank paper. The only things he had written so far were his name, the date, the title and his beginning words: 'Art is...'
For the boy, Art was not one of the most interesting subjects. It wasn't bad but his previous Art classes were lackluster and only involved the basics of paint this, draw that, sculpt those, stick these together, etc. It was often copy, copy, copy. He wasn't intent on polishing his artistic skills but didn't like how his previous teachers always told the students what to draw. This was why Spica became more interested in just looking at the art books than actually practicing art itself. In the pages he saw real art. Every brushstroke and clay figure showed freedom, every metal piece and glass curve showed emotion. Uniqueness emanated from the works of the masters. While his previous schoolmates performed remarkably in the classes, all their works were just perfect imitations, nothing new.
He was glad to hear that they wouldn't be starting with an assessment of their drawing capabilities like his old Art classes but at this point, he didn't know what to write. While tapping his pen on the table, the purple eyed teen raked through his brain for words. 'What is art to me?', he thought. 'And why am I even bothering to think of a good answer?' At this point he stopped the tapping, half tempted to just write 'boring'.
Finally he wrote: "Art is the expression of one's emotions and opinions recorded in a way that is pleasing to the senses. Media used by artists have ranged from simple sticks of coal on a flat surface to living things such as the artists themselves."
These two short lines were basically a summary of the introduction pages of all the art books he has read. Other than the ingenuity of real art, he had nothing else to say about the subject.
