Ermys had fallen asleep when a sudden pang of hunger hit his stomach. Lurching forward, he let out a groan. "This is what you get for not eating all day, Emrys." He said aloud to himself. He remembered Lenore commenting on something being in the fridge. He could recall if it was blood or not so he got up to check. Inside the fridge was a few containers of blood. Mouth watering from the sight, he grabbed one and opened it and drank straight from the container. The cool liquid flowed down his throat and instantly he felt better and the hunger pang has all but disappeared.

Upon seeing the boy cower at his extention of friendship, Mathias had to stop and ponder what to do. The wolf in him would have cleaned a new friends ears, where as the demon would laugh and further terrify the cower soul before them. 'Hmmm... best to find a middle ground. I don't want to make an arse outa myself, or get hit since the whole licking bit tends to be thought of as an advance or something flirting, which wasn't at all his intent, and frowned upon in the more homo sapient societies.' He decided quickly to take the same approach one might take with shy animal, and flopped himself down on the ground right in front of Balthazar, and again extended his hand for a welcoming handshake, but this time he let it hang a little more lax, trying to take on a very non assertive, gentle demeanor.

"Don't freak. Really, it's ok. I have no desire to hurt you. If you wanna hide that's fine. It's just quiet over here, and shady. Good view too" Mathias gestured out across the pool and hot tub area filled with scantily clad classmates of varying ages "I don't blame you. I'm new as well. First day?" he paused for a moment, but upon seeing no incling of an answer coming from the kid he continued. "Well, it's mine, so I don't really know anyone either. I won't lie, I kinda wanted to hide too. BUT, you can't hide forever, so it just seemed like a waist of time to me, so I decided to march my butt right through the middle of what seems to be the busiest part of school, and, well, you know the rest, cause now here I am, talking to you. Though I will admit, talking to you would be much easier if you'd at least tell me your name buddy. It's ok, I don't bite anymore, got that under control ages ago, I promise."

Still having his feet in the pool, Al figures he scared away the people with his "demon" talk. Well, if they can't take me, then oh well. Al thought his time would be better somewhere else, doing anything else. Deciding to say hi to the rest of the room, Al walked over to the bleachers. Just before someone running out of the bleachers ran him over, Al remembered his stuff and ran over to get it and walked back to the bleachers and found someone on the floor. Thinking something had happened, Al rushed over. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

Chuckling to himself Mathias got up off the floor and leaned against one of the supports for the bleachers. 'Wow, what a strange fellow... I'll have to try and find him again later.

"No, no. Not at all. He's just a bit shy. I think all the commotion and possibly the girl lighting the tree on fire a bit ago must have spooked him. I just tried to say hi." He turned back towards the direction the kid had run off in. "I know I can be a little stand off ish sometimes, but man, I didn't think I was that scary. I mean you seemed to have no problem saying hi to me earlier, so really, am I all that big & bad?" He shrugged and stepped back out into the sunlight. "It's my first day. So I'm a little clueless still. This kinda stuff happen often?" he gestured toward the still smoldering remains of the tree.

Maybe an hour had passed and Lenore woke up to see that she had fallen asleep in the steam room. She yawned and stretched as she sat up to leave the sauna. She walked out into the cool air and shivered. "I was in there too long.." she whivered as the cool air hit her body. She walked quickly around the pool to get her towel. Wrapping it around her she picked up her bag and slipped on her flip flops so she could go back to the dorm and change into something dry and probably take a shower. "Oh hey Emrys, you found the blood." she said with a smile as she went to her room, water dripping off her hair and body as she walked. She got dressed in low rise blue jean shorts and a hot pink tank top after taking a quick shower. She walked out drying her hair, "I fell asleep in the sauna." she laughed softly before yawning.

Kayla walked down towards the pool and sighed, there was so many people there. she put her feet in the water and lay back, hoping that no one would stand on her or throw her in

Lorrina turned to face Bella and was slightly amused to see that the bunny girl was blushing because Cain had kissed her hand as well. To her further surprise Bella asked Lorrina asked if she would be her friend despite the fact that werewolves were Bella's enemies. Lorrina's face lit up with a smile, "Really?" she asked, "Okay lets be friends then," she told Bella happily.

Bella smiled as she agreed to be her friend now she had at least one friend to hang out with. Bella's tail twitched as she taped her chin in a thinking maner looking over her few books she owned and smiled. "Lorrina wanna go for a swim or um to lunch?" Bella asked as she looked to her first offical made friend adn smiled lightly and shyly.

Emrys chuckled. "I'm surprised no one woke you up sooner." He remarked, a glint in his eye as he decided to tease her some. "Unless they enjoyed watching you sleep." By this time, he had cleaned up the little mess he had made. Going into his room and grabbing a brush, he set out to brush his hair now that it had dried out some.

"Al seemed to be quite smitten with you." Emrys remarked, a smile appearing slightly. "I'm not sure how a demon and a vampire would work as a couple." Finishing his hair, he went to put his brush up and came back out with a deck of cards. Looking at Lenore, he opened the pack. "Want to play a game of cards? Or do you and Al have a date tonight?" He teased, a twinkle in his eye as he grinned widely.

Lenore blushed an even deeper red. "Trust me, he was just being friendly." she replied, moving to sit on the edge of the bar. "Sure, if you want to be beat." she remarked playfully, the red tint in her cheeks fading. She tossed the empty bottle into the trash can and patted the bar next to her. "I will warn you, I have a tendancy to try to distract my opponent." she winked, her smile growing. She couldn't tell if he was flirting with her or just teasing, but it was fun either way.

"If you say so." Emrys remarked, grinning at the fact he made her blush. It was easy to be relaxed around her. Sitting at the bar next to her, he shuffled the cards. "I'm afraid to see what tricks you have up your sleeve, little girl." He said with a laugh. "I'm no slouch at games like Go Fish and War."

"Oh you should be afraid, very afraid." she said in a theatrical way. "Muwahaha." she added playfully. She poked his side innocently and waited for him to deal the cards. "Oh wait, one more thing." she said, hopping off the bar and going to turn on her ihome with her ipod attached to it. She danced her way back to the bar and sat in the chair this time. "Okay ready." she said cheerfully.

"Already trying to distract me?" Emrys said, as he dealt the cards out. "Let's go with something easy and play war." He placed down his first card: A six of diamonds.

Lenore giggled. "Noo..." she said, placing a 6 of hearts. "Oh barely." she said with a laugh. She picks up the cards and puts another card face up between them: a 4 of spades. "Dang.." she whispered.

Emrys chuckled as he sees her place that four down. Until his next card is a two clubs. "Drat it." He muttered under his breath. Placing the next card down, he grinned widely. The card was a Queen of spades.

Lenore giggled softly when he put down a two of clubs. She picked them up and her eyes winced when he put down a queen of spades. "Oi ve.." she said softly, placing her card ontop. "Yes!" she said happily, putting down a queen of hearts. "War." she then stated with a smirk.

"Once again, you have declared war on me." Emrys smirked. "So much for me being a lover and not a fighter." He laid down his next card: nine of hearts.

Lenore smirked. "Haha, well Queen of Hearts is my card so I think we're equal with the being a lover not a fighter." she replied setting down a four of hearts.

"Ah, so you rule over all the hearts." Ermys chuckled, as he took the cards and placed down a five of diamonds. "Has there been any hearts you haven't ruled out yet?"
