Lenore shook her head. "Well the fact that I haven't "loved" anyone, that's kind of hard. It's just my favorite suit." she replied with a shrug as she put down an seven of clubs. "What about you? Mister lover not a fighter?" she then asked, winking at him playfully.

Emrys frowned slightly, as he laid down a two of diamonds. "There was one girl. But she was in love with someone else." He looked off, trying to collect himself. The last time he thought of Arwen had been years ago when his sister mentioned running into her. "I still don't understand how she allowed herself to fall in love with the guy." He growled softly.

Lenore looked at him sadly and placed her hand on his arm. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked..." she said softly. "Women are strange creatures. We do things I suppose out of fear....." she explained. "I have a fear of getting hurt, that's why I don't allow myself those feelings... it always ends badly." she added, retracting her hand and picking up the cards before she put down a three of diamonds.

"It's alright." Emrys said, trying to smile. "She was a weird creature anyways. I guess I'm more bitter at the fact that she left the guy. She claimed to love him so much but she was afraid he wouldn't understand what she really was." Sighing softly, he put down a Ace of Spades.

Lenore nodded slowly and placed down a four of spades. "Crud." she whispered before looking at him. "I'm sorry." she said again, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure you'll find someone else who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated." she replied, pushing back her past.

He let his hand rest on hers as he gave her a smile. "I'll be fine. I haven't planned on finding anyone." He removed his hand slowly, as a strange urge to hug Lenore came on. Brushing it aside, he placed down the next card: a ten of clubs. "Hm, what trick do you plan on showing me now?" He remarked with a laugh.

Lenore blushed softly when he placed his hand on hers. She pulled her hand back after he removed his. "Well, you'll find her eventually is what I mean." she replied, flipping over a king of hearts. "Haha! That." she said, poking his side unexpectedly. She was hoping it would lighten the mood.

Holland wrote up a list of possible rescources for research on Masque and Midnight Summer's Dream. "I'd love to help with costumes on whatever we do decide and the script for Masque of the Red Death adaptations." he said. "Oh...sorry just thinking out loud don't mind me..." he smiled sheepishly.

Emrys playfully clutched his chest. "That trick was too much!" He said with a laugh. "And I know what you mean." He pulled out the next card and placed it facedown. "Ah, you had the King of hearts but it seems like I have the Ace of spades."

"Oh no!" she said, pretending that she fell out of the chair from the blow of his winner card. "Dang! I thought I had you there." she said, flipping over an ace of clubs. "Does that beat it?" she then asked, looking at him innocently.

Squinting his eyes, he moved closer to Mathias and looked closer. "Ah, crud, what a day to forget my glasses. I'm sorry my vision is really bad and I can't see without them. What's worse is that I constantly forget them in different places. I'm sorry. So what happened here?"

"No, my dear fighter." Emrys remarked with a chuckle. "If anything, it means one of us can pillage and plunder the other person's kingdom." He placed down the next card; a Jack of Hearts. "Ah, my Queen, it seems like your son is a traitor."

Lenore gasped. "How dare he! Off with his head!" she said playfully. "Aw now I want to watch that." she said, pouting innocently as she placed down a queen of spades. "Ooh what now mister lover?" she then asked.

"It seems like your son betrayed you just to help you pillage and plunder my lands." Emrys laughed. "You mean that movie with that Depp guy in it? Haven't seen it. I'd advise you to watch the one from SyFy. It was better than I expected it to be. And dare I say, your Majesty, that Kathy Bates has nothing on you."

"Ah but you see, I am not always just the queen you see. We're all mad around here..." she then said in a sing song voice. She laughed gently. "I do like the one on SyFy, but I also have not seen the new one either. But I was meaning the cartoon one." she then said with a happy smile that was close to the cheshire cats smile.

"The Disney one, right?" Emrys asked, attempting to match her grin. "A classic movie." Motioning that he would be right back, he hopped out of the chair and rushed into his room. A moment later, he walked back in with the DVD and Blu-Ray combo case of Alice in Wonderland. "Not sure if you have it but you can borrow my copy." He offered it to Lenore.

Lenore watched as he hopped out of his chair and went into his room. She tilted her head to the side and waited for him to come back. With a gasp, she too hopped out of her chair and went to him, delicately taking the DVD. "Oh wow, I don't have this one. I bought it when it first came out on DVD..." she said softly, looking at the back of the case for the special features excitedly.

"You'll enjoy the special features." Emrys said, smiling at how excited she was. "It's not made of gold, so there's no need to worry over how you handle it. My sister tends to get the discs scratched so I buy reserves. If you want to put this game on hold so you can watch it, I'm fine with that. I might see if I can do some writing for my sister."

Xanthe' nodded. "Sounds good. But i think we might have to forcibly enlist some of the others..." She looked out through the cracked open door at her unsuspecting classmates. "Oh...I...um...nevermind, i lost it.." ...stupid thoughts...so hard to keep a hold on....

.....Hush!..... She went back to reorganizing the plays by author's name, then alphabetically. She appriciated Lewis and Dante's silent help.

"If I do that, she'll start hounding you..." Ermys said, a grin growing on his face. "Maybe I ought to so she'll stop bugging me about making friends." The hug was a surprise to him and his body felt slightly odd at the closeness of Lenore when she hugged him. Watching her skip off to her room, he chuckled as he picked the cards up. Once he finished, he turned and headed to his room. Placing the deck of cards on the shelf, he turned slightly to grab a thick notebook. "Ah, where should I start..." He whispered to himself.

Lenore laughed. "Don't worry, I won't say anything bad about you." she said, putting the dvd in her player and turning on her tv. She left her door open and hopped on her bed. "Feel free to join me when you finish." she then called out to him as she started looking through the special features.

"If you're still awake, I might." Emrys chuckled, opening the notebook to close to the middle. Half of the page is already filled with notes and diagrams, the other half with scribbles. Laying down on the bed, he pulled a pen from the spirals of the notebook and began writing down notes on the day among math formulas his sister gave him to work on and their answers.
