No thanks to his better hearing, Spica was getting more dizzy than calmed. "You're making my head spin..." he could barely say. He tried covering his ears but the sound got through all the same. His eyes were getting heavy too. "I take it that's a natural ability of yours?" He was doing his best to stay awake.

Akira finally finished her drawing, but her kitsune hearing kicked in and she suddenly began to grow tired... Suddenly, she fell asleep at her desk. Her kitsune senses would sometimes kick in in a 2-day timeframe from either side of the date of the new moon. So two days before or after the new moon, her kitsune senses might show up briefly.

Haru Noticed that Spica was acting as if he were about to fall asleep, The vampire figured it must be the humming for he forgot Spica was a werewolf."Hey Al ,Could you stop humming? Seems like Spica is getting dizzy from it" THe vampire said.

Kite saw what was happening to the guys around him. Instead of calming down, he tensed up more. "I haven't even enrolled in the school yet. I've been wandering around with no clue where to go."

Lenore blushed gently when he gasped. "Thank you, you do too Emrys." she said, smiling. "Ready to go?" she asked, grinning at him. She wasn't sure why she was being so shy around him. She walked towards the door and picked up her purse and grabbed the keys to their dorm.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Emrys answered, walking up next to her and offering his arm to her. He couldn't figure out how he went from not wanting to get too close to anyone when he first arrived here to wanting to spend time with his dorm mate.

Lenore smiled and placed her arm in his and locked their dorm behind them as they walked out. "I hope they have good food." she said randomly as they walked down the hall and out of the vampire dorms. "So why don't you tell me more about yourself?" she then said, trying to start a small conversation with him.

balthazar had pressed himself hard against the wall as lenore and emry had exited their dorm room, then sighed heavily as they walked away from him, he trailed just behind them, for some reason they intrigued him. he followed walking slowly trying to listen to what they were saying yet still trying to seem natural.

"What is there to say about me?" Emrys said with a chuckle. "I could go on about before I turned and how I was trying to become a writer. Or how my sister found me living off of people who were already close to death. That was something I picked up for the girl I told you about. She rarely drank from someone who was healthy." He looked over to her and smiled. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a shadowy figure walking behind them. Tensing up slightly, he tried to to figure out if the person was friendly or what their intentions were.

Lenore smiled. "What kind of writer were you wanting to be?" she asked, not wanting to go into his past about the girl. She then felt him tense up and she frowned slightly. "What's wrong?" she then asked, looking up at him innocently as they continued to walk towards the food hall. She gently squeezed his arm to calm him down.

When she squeezed his arm, Emrys let out a sigh and decided to not worry about the person behind them. "I wanted to write about the folklore from my country. At the time, only a select few in the little township I lived in could read or write. I was lucky that my father was a priest and that our family was able to learn. And there is nothing wrong. I just thought I saw something."

Lenore smiled. "That is lucky." she said, deciding not to mention the fact it was a bit funny that his father was a priest and they were considered damned souls. She nodded slowly when he explained that he just thought that he had seen something. They soon came to the food hall and Lenore looked around. "Mm... smells good." she said, smiling up at him.

"Knew it." Spica said with a yawn after hearing that the three were also new. "What classes do you guys have?" He did his best to shake of the effects of the humming. It was getting a little troublesome. Perhaps it would have been soothing if he was at a distance but being too close was definitely not having a good effect. At least Al wasn't the type of demon that caused things to spontaneously combust like his History classmate. Spica was thankful the teacher allowed him to switch seats.

Balthazar had tensed up as emry tensed, thinking he had seen him, then they reached the food hall. he walked briskly past the two of them to grab food, not knowing waht to grab, but he wanted to seem normal and that he wasnt following the two of them. He was intrigued by the seemingly couple and was to scared to introduce himself yet, but he wanted to know them still.

Haru took a look at his schedule and showed it to Spica,

"I like the order of my classes so far" Haru said with a smile.

"And I'm sure you find it ironic how my father was a priest and I'm considered a lost soul." Emrys said as they approached the food hall. "When I was first changed, I wondered how he would take it. I waited nearly thirty years to build up the courage to do so and when I finally made it there..." He turned his attention to the boy who walked in front of them. Frowning slightly, he realized this was the same one who was by the bleachers earlier and following them. Lenore's comment on the food smelling good made him snap out of the glare he was giving the boy. Looking at her, he smiled. "Yes, it smells wonderful."

Lenore saw how he had glared at the boy and she reached forward to slip her hand in his. She looked up at him. "Don't worry about him. So when you finally had the courage to tell him what happened?" she asked, getting his mind off of the boy that was from the pool and had followed them. She blushed slightly when their hands met but she was doing it to calm him down. After he finished his story they looked through the lines. "Wow, they have everything. I think I'm going to get something from that japanese place." she said, wondering what he was going to get.

((Ok! I should be back pretty regularly for a while now. I may be gone for a day here and there depending on the family situation, but otherwise I should be here almost every night :-) I'm gonna start slowly working Mathias back into the swing of things and try to pull myself into the story line a little better ^_^ Thank you so much everyone for your patience. After huddling under the coldest water he could get from the shower in the dorm room, Mathias finally felt calm enough to recompose himself. The ringing in his head had finally died down, and he could again control his heart rate and instinctive urges. With white shivering fingers he stripped the soaking wet clothes he'd warn right into the shower in his hurry to calm the beast withing, and tossed them over the towel bar in the bathroom to dry.

As far as he could tell he didn't have a room mate yet as the entire suite had seemed completely untouched when he arrived, so he boldly walked across the floor to his still packed bags and began rummaging through them. He pulled a pair of black Adidas wind pants out and a plain black microfiber shirt and donned them quickly along with some basic boxer briefs and socks, then grabbed his favorite pair of warn in sneakers, black puma's with deep green detailing, and headed out to find the work out center. He'd read in his welcoming paperwork that there was one here somewhere. After everything that had just happened, a work out might be just what he needed to process things.

"Sorry, sometimes I don't even know when it starts to get too much. I'll try to keep my songs to myself." Sometimes when Al starts to hum, he doesn't even notice when his voice travels to other places. "Here are my classes."

"I'm not worried about the boy. Just a little creepy to feel like we were being followed." Emrys replied, as she slipped her hand into his. Giving her hand a little squeeze, he looked at the food options. There was Japanese, American, Mexican, and Chinese among a few other choices. "I'm going to go Chinese and get some General Tso's chicken. And he had passed away twenty years earlier. I stayed in the shadows and watched over my family to find out how they had been. They knew that I had become a vampire, from the local gossip-monger who had spied me feeding one night. My father..." He paused for a second, unsure if he should tell her anything that might be too much for her to hear. He wasn't sure if he should share the fact that his father had personally headed the hunt to find and kill Emrys or that his own mother had to be locked up in an insane asylum over the lost of her only son. "Let's just say, he wasn't happy I was a monster."

Lenore frowned slightly. "I don't think your a monster..." she murmured. "Okay, you get your food and I'll get mine and we'll meet somewhere to sit down." she then said cheerfully. She wanted to lighten the mood, not wanting him to get mad at her for asking about his past anyway. She smiled up at him innocently and waited for him to answer.

"Thank you, Lenore..." Emrys said softly, his eyes glistening a little. "Not many outside of my 'family' tell me that. Most vampires I meet tell me to embrace the hunger and to terror those who would want to do away with us." Patting her on the head, he smiled. "How about we meet right back here after we get our food? Then we can pick a nice spot together."

Raeland suddenly got swept up in the crowd going to 4th period, seperating him from Kennedy. 'Crap!' he thought, he decided to try and find her again later. but for now he headed over to his cooking class. Once there, he sat down next to a tall guy with long silver hair. His smell gave him away to be a vampire, his white Armani Exchange button down shirt, nice black jeans, and cowboy boots gave him away to be on the rich side. 'As long as he's not obnoxious or spoiled, it's whatever. He seems calm enough. Maybe we'll become friends...' he thought optimistically. Suddenly the vampire turned to him and raised an eyebrow.

"Why are you staring?" Holland asked bluntly. "Saying hello is easy to do as well." He'd noticed a redheaded boy sit next to him and begin to size him up. He'd done the same but much quicker. Holland was only a little taller than him but their styles were totally different. Something about his green eyes alerted Holland that this kid was a demon. He wore a green t-shirt with one sleeve cut off, the other was sliced in a purposeful fashion, he wore two silver rings, a leather wristband, and a black cross necklace. On top of that his sleeveless navy blue hoodie, baggy jeans with hip chains, and black and green Chucks made Holland sigh with pity. 'Someone needs to take this child shopping. How sad...' he thought.

"I-I...I didn't mean to stare..." Raeland stuttered. "Um, hi. My name's Raeland Hyll." he offered his hand to shake.
This dude didn't play around. Raeland thought that was pretty cool. Holland smiled warmly and firmly shook Raeland's hand. "That's better! My name's Holland Crews. Nice to meet you Raeland." They broke the handshake and got out their notebooks to get ready for class.
