Alex squeezed Cora's hand again as she fell asleep, perfuring to stay awake himself. He watched over her as she slept, changing his mouth to that of a wolf and snarling at anyone that came near. He didn't know why he had made such a quick connection to this girl. Usually, he'd be too shy to even talk to a female! Maybe it was because of their similar situations? Who knows? Either way, he was attached like a loyal dog to his master ((Heh heh pun intended)), and he wouldn't abandon her as long as he was able to stay by her side. Even though Cora seemed pretty tough, Alex could see a sort of fragility inside her, but he would help her make up for that, and wouldn't allow either of them to be broken.

"Well, first question is...What was it like to be a slave? Did you like it, or hate it?" She asked then thought about it for a moment. "I guess that was my first and second question." She laughed slightly. "You can sit down if you would like. Since you're not leaving now. There is no point in standing the whole time you're here." She sat back down on the couch.

Cora could feel the breathing of the wolf that was next to her as she slept on the bars. The only thing was was htat she was having a nightmare. He may have been comforting her for a while but the nightmare trapped her in the sleep she was in. It was deep. It was the day she had been kidnapped. Two men had come out of nowhere and dragged her into an alley. They had clamped a hand over her mouth and then gagged and bound her. She tried to use her shadows on them but a collar was placed around her neck which absorbed them. They said that she was going to become a slave whether she liked it or not and that they would teach her how before they brought her to the slave trade. It was the scariest thing she had ever gone through but they had bought a pair of pants and tore up her uniform after they had finished with their 'training'. They wrapped the strips around her chest and brought her to the traders so that they could pretend that she was a street urchen instead of what she truly was. The traders excepted her graciously. She vowed never to break. Always to fight the people who had committed a terrible act. Fidgeting in her sleep, the scene dragged on through all the riggorous training she had ever been put through.

Alex stayed awake and frowned when he felt Cora's body tense. Obviously her dreams were not going very well. He wouldn't ask what they were about, as he didn't want her dreams to follow her to reality. So much for what he knew, huh? Her dreams were just a repeat of reality, and he didn't even know. Swallowing nervously, Alex reached through the bars with the hand that wasn't holding onto Cora's, and softly stroked her hair, trying to soothe her in her sleep.

Cora felt the hand on her head, stroking her hair softly. The dream started to change from its dark ways to when she was a kid running through the cornfield. This part wasnt reality. The cornfeild seemed different. It was darker somehow. The soothing dream of running happily through it trying to catch up to the horses seemed to dark to be true. A cage fell on her and walls started to form as it got darker and darker. She was in one cage but it was different from real life. Instead of being in a cell by herself she was in one with Alex. He was holding onto her now. Embracing her, stroking her head, trying to calm her from something that had happened. Was he doing that now while she was trapped in a nightmare. She could hear laughter in the distance and it sounded like the boss of the place she was bing held in the real world. The guards came in and tore them from eachother. They screamed eachothers names trying to fight them as she was pinned against the bars and he was held back. Thats when everything went black again.

(And again...Awwwww! Poor Cora!!!!)

Mjrn just giggled and shook her head as he gestured for her to go first. She wrapped her arms around his and smiled. "Or we can go together." The fairyfly answered softly in her musical voice. Lightly she laced her fingers with his and tugged softly. A wide smile on her face as she laughed softly.

Raven chuckled gently and warmly as he nodded his head. "That could work as well" he said gently as he allowed Mjrn to interlace their arms and fingers. At the tug at his hand he calmly followed after. The raven demon enjoyed the sound of the musical tone of the fairyfly woman's voice. As he walked beside her he couldn't help but lift the entwined hands and kiss the smooth soft hand of the fairyfly.

"Well, first question is...What was it like to be a slave? Did you like it, or hate it?" She asked then thought about it for a moment. "I guess that was my first and second question." Sonzo took his seat again be for answering. "Well it all depends on the living conditions... Like for example... Once I had thought of suicide but that was because I was not aloud to even mention Suki and had lost all hope of ever finding her... I did not truly mind being a slave though at times I would be blamed and beaten for things I did not do or have any involvement in." He explained and then waited until he was asked a new question.

Mjrn was overjoyed when he agreed that they could walk together. When he kept their hands entwined she couldn't help, but smile again. A soft blush colored her cheeks as he lightly kissed her hand. Lightly they walked up the steps together stepping out into the sun light. "I'm glad.. that your mistress let you stay." She answered softly with a smile.

"Oh! That's horrable that you got beaten for no reason." Hazel said finding it hard to even think about being a slave, she cringed at the thought. "Did you ever spend a long time in the slave market?" She asked quietly. Dark, dingy, smelly, rusty cages. All alone bound in chains. 'Oh! Stop thinking about it!' Hazel commanded in her mind.

Raven's eyes couldn't help but get a warm and kind look to them as he saw the blush on Mjrn's face. He had known that to be a relatively normal reaction with some women when he did as such, not that he did so to get such a reaction, merely it was again a show of respect and the appropriate action that a gentleman was to take with a lady. "I am glad that my Mistress has permitted me to remain behind as well" he said with a gentle smile as the came from the dark and rather depressing air of the slave market, as well as the cries of disobedient slaves. "I am also glad that both our Mistresses have agreed to allow us to spend a bit of time together. I feel that you and I connect fairly well" he said gently.

Sonzo had to think about this one "Yes and no... Most of the masters that I had did not give me up easily... Though when I was ill I was thrown into the most horrible slave trade there is... I almost died there." He paused and shuttered away from the memory's that burdened his mind. "After that I came across several bad masters that only wanted me for the fun of torture... I was rescued by my last master and set free about 2 and a half years ago." Son said in a calm voice, he didn't seem to truly mind Hazel's questions and would answer as many as she wanted as long as he had an answer.

Mjrn's wings seemed to shimmer as she stood out in the sun. Her pink hair blew softly in the wind as they stood outside. She nodded in agreement when he said they felt they connected fairly well. "I have to agree. I like talking with you." She answered quietly. Once she realized they were still holding hands the light pink blush colored her cheeks again as she slipped her hand from his.

"I'm glad you didn't die. That would have been sad not to have Suki see you again." Hazel said quietly, trying to think of a question that wouldn't bring back bad memories of being a slave. "When you were in the slave trade place before, when you came to find Suki, what was it like seeing the room from outside of the cage?" Although she wasn't sure that was a good question to ask she really wanted to know how it would be to come back to something so horrable.

"Well... It felt weared the first few times and I got bad looks alot... To me it felt good knowing that I would never have to go back... I saved alot of kids and parents from the cruel fate that was in front of them." Son said with a small smile as he thought of some of the young children he had saved.

(O.O I can't think of anymore questions!)

"That's really nice of you." Hazel said quietly. "Once you are ready to keep Suki with you all the time I'll let her go. She doesn't have to be a slave, she isn't one now. I mean she is kind of...but I just don't want to be alone. So once you are able to take care of Suki all the time, promise me that you'll both come to visit at least. I don't want to be alone again. That's the only reason I got slaves...well that and I can't cook to save my life." She tried to end it jokingly. Although she didn't really sound to happy about. But of course she was going to let Suki live with her brother at some point. They were family, you couldn't keep them apart.

Sonzo looked at Hazel softly "I couldn't do that to you... I mean... I move around alot and it seems she is very happy with you." Son smiled softly "And pluse... I owe her at least a somewhat stable life which you can give her while I can not... Also there are something that I just can't do for her but you can." he smiled sheepish hoping she knew what he meant.

"I...but...She just met me. How do you know she's happy because of me, or just because she isn't a slave? No one ever ends up being happy around me. Why do you think I live alone? My own parents moved out because they couldn't stand to be around me." Hazel said quietly, yet her voice had an underlying tone of anger and hatred. Yet you could see the sadness in her eyes. She looked away from Sonzo and stood up walking over to the window behind the couch. She was ytrying not to let Son see but in her reflection on the glass you could see tears falling down her cheeks.

"Please don't be upset... I know because just from the little time you've spent being kind to her she's grown attached." Son said looking at Hazel with compation and understanding in his words and face. "I'm sorry to hear that but I don't see why anyone would not like you you seem verry kind and caring to me." Sonzo said confertingly.
