Really personality should wait until you have the doll in your hands. They really do show you who they are after getting to know them.

I didn't know if Makrua would be like my Makrua the one I write about and was my imaginary friend from my early childhood. But somehow he was. That isn't always the case. MCAT got Kai and thought he'd be just like her character Kai.
The doll is a spoiled rotten brat, but not really her Kai either though.

Staralight: That does make sense xD I still like to think about what he might be like though :3

I still can't wait to get him! But I don't think my dad would be too happy about me paying $400 for a doll x___x So I'm sure it might be a while before I can actually buy him...

I just watched a video on how to restring a doll, and it doesn't look as complicated as I thought it would be xD

Teal - I'm seconding what Staralight said about waiting until Fai gets there before you give him a personality. I made up Kadin's personality before he got here, but now I have to redo the whole thing anyway haha.

I was pretty scared Makrua wouldn't be my Makrua. It was a relief when he was.

Staralight - Luckily for me, Kadin wasn't based off of any existing character. I just kind of found his sculpt and liked it a lot. But then I named him and made his personality up while he was being shipped to me. XD Luckily the name fit!

Well when I first was considering getting Makrua it was the purpose of helping me get inspired for writing. To see if the shoots would help bring scenes to mind. It worked beautifully, until college killed my talent for the time being. Damn you college. *cough* anyway, it was a luck of the draw with Makrua.
See at first I was considering a different doll for Makrua, but then my husband went that one. And boom. Makrua was Makrua.

Staralight - I see! I think it's amazing how wonderfully these dolls act as muses. I thought I'd never write another word again because I can never come up with writing ideas, but then I got Kadin, and slowly I'm coming up with ideas. xD Bad, cliched ideas, but still ideas nonetheless.

Oh so have I.
Especially with my husband. He swore up and down that he hated Makrua and didn't want anything to do with him. But he was the one who chose for us to go to four different toy stores to get Makrua new props, and he's the one who managed to get my doll to do the Ka may ha may ha stance.

My friend Elliot said he didn't like being around all the thousands of stuffed animals I have in my room because it's 'creepy how they stare at you' xD But when he spent the night, I woke up and saw him cuddling my favorite fluffy green bunny lol. It was adorable > w <

Staralight - Oh damn that's amazing. XDD I always catch my grandmother playing with my doll. She'll come in t he room, say in her Japanese accent, "He Look like girl!" and put him in a more "manly" pose, which often involves Kadin looking like a gangster in the ghetto. XDD It's so funny. My dad likes Kadin, but doesn't touch him because he breaks everything he touches. o___o; So thank god he doesn't touch my doll!

Kaci: My mother probably doesn't even remember that I have my doll sadly, and my step-dad isn't allowed near my doll. He breaks stuff on purpose because he's a jerk. >w>

Staralight: Monkeys are so cute <33 I have a few, but none of them are pink

Well back when I was in middle school a friend and I were in the store during Val. Day, and I just so happened to spot a huge pink gorilla. There after I informed everyone that I wanted a pink monkey.
Which after Val day ended was really hard to find off-season apparently. So it became a joke for my mother to get me a pink monkey every year until my Senior year of high school. So *shrugs* now I collect them.
