:D I love future projects. I am still waiting to get more white fabric and some general materials to make patterns.

And still waiting for my financial aid. ._. Going to have a little less than expected, zee parents need to replace unexpectedly a waterheater. (They were going to help out to get a decent one.) Might end up with a mini after all.

Wargh! I was gone for a while. T^T
Photo shoot? Very rad. I had a photo shoot, but it was of my own heads, and not really like a PHOTO SHOOT, but more like, "hello livejournal, this is what I did." :/ Not that same thing, I guess. XD How did your photo shoot turn out?

I was hoping for a small laptop with certain capabilities, but my budget went down since me parents can't help out like originally planned. Me current laptop is six years old, has been through hell (still has the battle wounds from an air bag) and was one of the heaviest laptop models ever made. 17 inch screen is a pain to carry around.

Yes it is.

And actually the shoot went pretty well, granted it turned into a shoot of my friend with her violin instead. >w> I am now charged with coming up with more shoot ideas and people are asking for me to take pictures of them. Kind of awesome actually.

Ah I see. Those older laptops are kinda funky, though, LOL. I've gone through 2 old ones. Mine weren't as sturdy as yours, I suppose O_______O

That's cool. Photography is pretty rad. Was this for a class or just on the side?

Mine was built like a tank. ._. Now the joint is shot to hell (No case at the joint anymore! Quite awkward to carry) and the screws have broken through the plastic. They keyboard is not in it's slot entirely, keys stick (gotta do a funky finger dance to get the alt keys to work) and it makes all these weird sputtering sounds in recent months, like it is hacking up a fur ball. And we still have a laptop we've been using since 2000 that is on the verge of dying. XD

:D Awesome! Any idea when your next photoshoot will be? And will we get to see the pretty pictures you recently took? :3

And you reminded me... I need to get in touch with the people about the wedding shoot they wanted me to do. >.< I no has good camera.

I ordered an Impledoll, male star body... actually the Bosco model.. hm.. I linked it to a person let me go find the link again. here

I'm very excited but I also have the first doll jitters - thinking I just spent $500 on something that when it gets here may not like.. and yeah.. I'm certain I'd like him.. but then there's self doubt creeping in.

That self-doubt hit me when I made my first purchase, too. It vanishes the moment you open the box. ^___^

He looks rad. I love when BJD's have character in their faces like that. I'm looking at some Impldolls for a girl character of mine, but I'm undecided.

Very cool. That's how I plan to buy all my dolls, too. With a character in mind, I mean. Did you learn anything interesting about Impldoll in all your reading? Two days down! Woohoo! :)

Another 43 days left. So long as there's no delays. >.<

Ah mostly in they're easily poseable due to joints in upper arm and thighs that makes it simpler in posing the arms and legs.

Yeah I hate them.. I keep rethinking am I really going to like a $500 doll more than barbies I hated as a kid.
Of course I know they're much better than Barbie.. but it's just going on over and over in my head.

When my first doll came, her default wig looked like someone cut a portion of a bathrobe apart to make it. My mom was more skeptical of these dolls at the time than I was so when she saw it she was like "Oh god she spent 300 on a crap doll". But when I got all the bubble wrap and styrofoam off her she changed her mind XD

I think my parents are still more than iffy in regards to these dolls and their prices (but I don't spend their money). I buy dolls, check them out online, and all that, but it was only after I started making them that they stopped commenting on how creepy they were. It's "If you can't say something nice..." so they don't say anything. XP

Yeah, I actually bought two extra wigs.. My char actually wants to change his hair a lot in my head.. from natural to a unnatural color all the time, so that's what I got him. So I'm not even to be using the default wig at all. I think I also bought a coat that I'd mistakenly thought was for Impldoll's just a typo on the site.. but is actually Ipledoll, didn't realize that was a company as well. But the person guaranteed if it didn't fit I can return it.. I hope it fits though.. it's a very pretty coat. I now need to find him jeans though.

I found a way to get over most of the first doll jitters, I've been reading on DoA threads and one of them being the disappointments some of them have come across.. for some reason that's actually mellowing me out rather than making me more worried.

I'm not sure what my mom is considering this new hobby of mine.. She kinda takes it in stride I suppose. So long as I am paying the bills and helping her out some, I guess she doesn't entirely care where I put my money.

My mom wants one, and she's been playing with mine. She actually wants to make clothes and such for them. My two already have 2 sweaters and a cat hat ^.^
