Hey guyyyyys. School was so awkward today. There was just this really awkward vibe going on that made my friend and I fee really anxious and what not.

But I'm home now, and most of the anxiety is gone. I'm just sad that my bus driver was late picking me up from school (my school is about 20-30 minutes away from my house, so walking home isn't an option), so when I got home it was really close to being dark out! So I couldn't go out and take pictures of Kadin.

...Though I might go play with this bright floor light thing my dad uses for his electrician work and take some dramatic lighting pictures! XD

Teal - Well regardless of who you choose, make sure you think about it carefully! You don't want any regrets! Especially because these dolls are hella expensive. XD I admit, I bought Kadin on somewhat of an impulse, but luckily it all worked out and I love him to little resin pieces. <3

That's true ^^ I will have to think about this a little more. I know I really want Mo, but I'm not sure I want the lighter skinned one or not.

Well, the easiest way to make a music stand (not a tripod stand, that would take more work ) it to use a dowel rod (can get them from craft stores and hardware stores alike). It would be your choice on whether or not to add more structure to the base by taking a small, but heavier square piece of wood with a hole drilled in it to match the dowel rod and fix the rod into it. Or you could form that base straight from clay. (Paper clay is good to use.) Anyways, either way, cover with the clay but make sure the dowel rod it cut at a 46 degree angle or so, it'll be easier to attach cleanly. Create the music stand's head separately (rectangle with a foot/hook across the bottom,) and wait for that to dry before gluing the head to the base and reinforce with more clay. Wait to dry, paint how you want.

Won't be as aesthetically pleasing as a tripod stand and I hope I wrote it clear enough. Good luck!

Kaci: *cough* Um well you see Makrua and Kai kind of started it. The first day they met the two of them wouldn't stop following on top each other in 'sexy' positions. Makrua was trying to get all over Kai and visa versa. So it became sexy picture time. Mwuahahahaa yaoi.

Teal: Well if you choose the wrong doll, keep all his default clothes, and you can go on Ebay, Amazon, or even Den of Angels market to sell him back for basically the same price you paid for him.
These dolls value never ever goes down. Well unless of course they receive some kind of damage. In which case yeah the price goes down a bit for that.

Teal - I'd personally go for the lighter skinned version, just because tan resin can be extremely finicky. I admit, I don't know much about how DollZone tans their resin, but depending on their method, you may or may not be able to give them a seam sanding, or sand them at all to mod them as it could discolor them. Also, tan resin has a tendency to turn green. While NS and WS dolls turn yellow if kept in sun, tan dolls turn green. I know the people who have Real Skin dolls from Iplehouse have kept their dolls out of sunlight, yet they still turn green because the pigment used to color the resin could be unstable.

I'm not saying any of this to scare you though. XD So please don't think that! Do some research on DoA about DollZone's tan resin, since tan resin varies greatly from company to company.

Staralight - Hahaha omg. XD That reminds me of when I first got Kadin. Kadin was strung a bit too tight, so I was showing my friend how he could stand. Well, Kadin stood for a few seconds, fell on his knees, and landed face first onto my friend's crotch. :gonk: I was horrified and amused at the same time.

And I like yaoi too. XD As long as the rating isn't above PG-13. >_o

Speaking of yellowing and dolls falling... And damage, Arnorr is damaged and his skin has yellowed just by time passing. He came strung loosely and collapsed in the middle of a photoshoot. He now has a dent at the bridge of his nose and a broken finger, which, oddly, fits his character well. ._.

Anyways, just be warned that accidents do happen, but you can always hire someone also to help or repair (if the damage isn't too excessive) your doll. I've heard a story of a DoD Ducan taking a faceplant to cement, killing his nose and his owner hired someone to repair the nose and sand it down.

Admittedly, I like yaoi, too... Just not excessively.

And that is funny, the faceplant into the crotch. XD

Well Kai and Makrua are a couple so it made sense that they'd attempt stripping each other within the first few seconds of meeting. It was just boys were moving a bit fast, no romance. Just wam bam thank you ...sir? lol


*cough* And um yes my DZ Hid has tan skin. No sanding for him it was discolour him, and when we had to boil MCAT's Kai it discoloured him a bit.
((Boiling your doll should only happen if he's been biten or warped a bit. The resin when boiled will bounce back to it's original shape. You get the water growing drop the piece in there for a bit five seconds or so then get it right back out. And fixed. It was amazing)
