"Dont be I'm fine..." deceit said quietly. As soon as the car stopped she got out and helped E.S. as well. She practically cariied him into the hospital and seeing him nurses rushed to their aid. They quickly carted E.S. away and Deceit stood alone for a few seconds. She watched as Spy boy came in and smiled weakly. "Theyre taking him back right now..." she whispered and swayed slightly. Suddenly her knees gave way and she fell.

Gladiator smiled and spoke soothingly, "Sorry, I can't help it. My parents have trained me way too well in the whole stealth mode." He was quiet from the time that they found E.S. to the moment that they reached the emergency room of the hospital. He watched silently as everything was a rush behind him. As he looked on, Deceit fell and he scooped her up into his arms and placed her into a hospital bed. He broke his silence and tried to smile genuinely, "Kid, you are a dangerous young lady. What you did as reckless, this is what I tried to warn you about. I know E.S. means a great deal to you, but ... dammit, if you would have winded up dying things would have been alot more worse compared to if we lost the leader as well. Deceit, I ... I know you know I love you, but please wear a bulletproof vest next time."

He laughed through a hoarse, cracked voice and fell into an empty chair behind him. He covered his face with his hands and had a deep intake of air. He began to sob quietly to himself. He couldn't take crying alone or in front of people for that matter. "Don't tell anyone I cried, Deceit, please. No one is going to take me seriously anymore." He laughed in a labored tone and stroked her bang.

Spyboy saw the deceit wasn't doing to well and called for a nurse. They soon came rushing in and thanked Gladiator for putting her on a bed. They wheeled her off into the hospital and spyboy walked over to Gladiator, "crying doesn't mean that you are weak it means that you care and that you are strong in different ways." he said as he looked at him, "now we can only wait till they bring E.S. or deceit out and I am sure they will be okay." he said as he looked at him.

Deceit smiled weakly and squeezed Gladiatar's hand reasuringly. "Im fine.... Really... I'll be out in no time..." she whispered hoarsely and was carted off. Sure enough after a good half an hour she was released. She had bandages around her waist but otherwise she seemed perfectly fine. "See? I'm fine." she said smiling and shook a pain killer bottle. "Thanks to these I feel perfectly fine." she said and grinned at Spy Boy. "Nice work blowing up the guards." she said and looked at Gladiatar. She smiled and hugged him. "Ill try to remember a bullet proof vest next time." she whispered in his ear.

Gladiator looked up at Spyboy and smiled defeatedly. He spoke in the same manner, "Yeah, you're right dude." He looked at the clock in the room and back to Spyboy, "You feel like heading off to the cafeteria to get a bite to eat? I'll buy if it gets you to eat with me." He was bored and didn't feel like being alone at that moment. He wiped his eyes slowly and laughed at Deceit when she came back out with the bandage around her waist. He snatched the bottle out of her hand jokingly and said teasingly, "Well, ma'am I'll be holding on to these here happy pills. Anyway I'm glad you are feeling fine." He hugged her lovingly and blushed slightly.

Spyboy smiled, "sounds great." he said happly and but then looked down the hall. "I wonder how E.S. is doing down in the emergency room." he said softly and wondered if E.S. was going to survive.

Infact the doctors where working hard on saving him. E.S. had taken a stab wound to every part of his body and he had lost a lot of blood. They where amazed that any man could survive for so long like this. But after a while they managed to get the bleed but he wouldn't wake up. So they wheeled him out of the emergency room and into another room. One of the nurses came over and saw the group he had come up with and walked over, "would you happen to be Edward Silvian Elcits friends?" she asked as she looked at them.

"Oh fine." she said after reaching for the pills playfully and gave in. She smiled and was about to say something when the nurse came. "who?" she mouthed to the other two and then put it together. Her eyes widened in shock and worry and she turned to the nurse. "yes, is something wrong?" she asked worriedly. She unconsiously gripped gladiatar's hand and looked into his eyes then back at the nurse.

"we just got him out of surgery and we are surprised that he is even alive. He took a total of thirty seven stab wounds to his body. He lost a lot of blood and some of his rib bones where broken." she reported to them as she looked at E.S.'s records, "but there is some bad news." she said softly and knew by the look of the girl clinging onto the other guys hand that Edward ment a lot to her, "we have no idea if he will wake up anytime soon, we fear that he might of slipped into a comma during the surgery." she said softly.

Deceit paled at the news. "can we see him soon?" she asked worriedly. her head was spinning in millions of different directions. she was really scared and wished she had been the one slipping into the comma not him. the school needed him... the students needed him...

Gladiator frowned when he got the news of E.S."s possible fate. His eyes dropped to the floor awkwardly and tried to occupy his mind with counting the tiles on the floor. He couldn't stay focused on the floor and sighed ruefully, squeezing Deceit's hand tightly. He raised his eyes to the nurse and spoke shakily, "So what are the chances that he will make it? I think we would all agree if I say life would take a turn for the worst. We are ... junior police cadets and he is the squad leader."

"there is a good eighty five percent that he will make it." she said and nodded when they said they where junior police. "and you can see him, he is just down the hall but before you go could you tell me how he got those wounds. We where all very surprised that he managed to survive something like this, men his age usually died before they hit the tenth stab." she said as she looked at them and got ready to write down what happend.

Deceit looked at gladiatar and nodded. "Yes... please... we would like to know." she said softly. Hearing the nurses words she relaxed slightly. the odds were good. She then thought fast and looked at the other two hoping they would play along with this. "we went to bust a huge gang.... But we got seperated and he was ambushed.... It wasn't a very pretty sight.." she said looking at the nurse. Sense she knew exactly what this nurse was thinking she smiled. "There were also huge dogs... we were lucky they didnt tare us limb from limb." she said and watched the nurse shudder. "Oh but i can go into greater detail if you want." she said and seeing the horrified look on the nurse's face she smiled softly. "Or not." she said and took both of the boy's hands. "Lets go see him." she said and pulled them past the obviously stunned nurse.

Spyboy smiled at the nurse and waved to her as they left.

E.S. layed in a bed and his body was covered in bandages. He looked peacefull now and you could tell that he had no plans of waking up any time soon. He had a few scratches on his beek and one over his eyes that would scar later. He was breathing though and that was a nice thing to know.

deceit walked into the room and seeing E.S. so peaceful almost made her burst into tears. she walked over to him slowly this whole thing feeling like a dream. She took his hand and kissed it softly. It felt like he was going to dissappear any second and she was scared he would. "Im sorry.... I shouldn't have left you alone...." she whispered self loathing in her voice.

Gladiator shivered as he looked at the mutilated being that was E.S. and swallowed roughly. He felt his eyes begin to tear up at the sight of his friend/leader. He stared at him quietly as he heard the clicking of heels through the halls. He loosed his hand from Deceit's grip and put his arms around her shoulder, while allowing Deceit to rest her head on his shoulder. "It's okay, Kid he's gonna be fine. I promise he will make it through this. He has made it through worst spots than this." He looked and rubbed her shoulder gently to let her know that there was nothing to worry about.

Spyboy walked over to Deceit and put a hand on her shoulder. "it isn't your fault" he said softly threw his collar and then looked at her hand that held his. E.S. really did mean a lot to her, more then the other students. But as he looked at there hands E.S. hand slowly closed around her as if he was slightly aware that she was here.

Fable pulled over after a while. She had sipped the bottle a bit. After he finally ordered her to. No one was following. "Devon? How are you doing?" Fable asked him while pressing into her headset. Hearing the small plan change. They were going to the hospital again? Wasn't that where ES was taken from last time. Still she looked to Devon. He needed help.. and now. Fable revved the engine and went to the hospital. All the way she held onto his arm. Not saying much at all. When they arrived, she helped Devon out of the car. Bringing him inside.

Rouge kept quiet needing to save all of his strength. As he slowly walked into the hospital with Fable nurses rushed over. One nurse looked at them and paled. "You guys with the junior police too?" she said horror struck but before Rouge could say anything he was put on a wheeled table and carted to a room.

Deceit looked into Gladiatar's eyes and then felt E.S. slightly squeeze her hand. She looked at him surprised and kissed his hand. "Im here E.S.... You're gonna pull threw... I promise..." she whispered softly. She was so greatful for Spy Boy and Gladiatar... They were the ones keeping her from completely breaking down right now.

E.S. felt like he was in a dark place and he coudlnt' move. But his hand felt warm and he heard a warm voice calling for him. He wanted to go to that voice more then anything else, he wanted ot bask in the warmth that is gave off. But he couldn't move and he tryed to but couldn't. So he started to work his lips and managed to say one word, "Deceit.." he wanted to make sure that she was okay.

Spyboy smiled when he heard E.S. "looks like your getting threw to him." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

Deceit felt happieness expload within her and her eyes held the emotion. "E.S. I'm here. Don't worry. I'm not going to leave you alone..." she said softly and stroked his cheek. She looked at his peaceful face hoping beyond all else he would wake soon. "You don't have to worry.... I'm here." she whispered and stroked his knuckles with her thumb.

E.S. felt the warmth of the voice and touch again. It felt great and it seemed to spread threw him like wild fire. He felt the dull pain that was going threw him now. It wasn't nearly as bad as before since he had pain killers streaming threw him. But at he felt the warmth reach his face he slowly forced himself to open his eyes. At first there was only light but as he blinked he started to see a face, It was Deceit. "hey.." he managed to say softly as he looked at her.

Deceit smiled brightly and looked into his eyes. "Hey... Welcome back..." she whispered softly. She smiled never stopping stroking his cheek or hand. She felt her heart cry to him and yet at the same time cry for Gladiatar. It was such a horrible yet wonderful feeling she hardly knew how to react to it.

E.S. smiled and gently layed his hand ontop of hers. "good to be back." he said and his voice was weak. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon but you knew that he would try. He smiled as he felt her hand on his cheek and closed his eyes, this was the feeling that had called him back. She was the reason why he had woken up and that only made hims smile more. "but are you okay?" he asked as he remembered her wound.

Deceit smiled. He always worried about others when he should worry about himself. "Yes... Perfectly fine." she said and pointed to the bandages. "Luckily they have really good pain killers here." she said and grinned. "But Gladiatar took my happy pills away." she said and pouted fakely and laughed.

E.S. chuckled weakly but soon stoped since he needed ot save as much energy as he could. "he has reasons for doing that and I am sure that they are good." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He liked hearing her laugh like that and it gave him strength, "so how long am I in here for?" he asked softly and you could tell he wasn't going to like the answer since he hated being here for more then a few hours.
