Spyboy looked at her as he pulled things out of his collar, "dont laugh, your going to hurt yourself." he said and had little tools all around him now. He had small little advils and other things. "and shelly might not be a complete problem if I can get this right. Hopefully if I get the chemicals right and get her to drink it or something her mind will start to relax and she will losen up to the point where you can get into her mind." he said as he continued to work on all the things he had with him.

Gladiator completely forgot that the headsets were linked and blushed slightly as he realized that the others heard his comments, but he got over it rather quickly. "Hey, no come on, give me some kinda recognition. I did it for you, but alright if you say so. I'm sorry, forgive me Kid?" He smiled as he talked compassionately and looked back over to Rouge, giving him a thumbs up. He turned back, "Alright then, Kid keep your head up and hold on. We'll be there in no time, k?" He dropped his voice and smiled bleakly as every second he stood there was more time for Shelly to come up with some diabolical scheme to kill Deceit and the others.

Deceit smiled softly and wished she could see Gladiator. "Like I would give up after all the hell I've gone threw...." she said and then touched a rib lightly and sucked in a breath. "Oh god...." she whispered seeing the horrible bruises and knew this wasn't good. "I don't think standing will be an opption..." she said anger mingling with the pain in her voice. "Shelly's stupide goons got me good this time... And they're wearing those metal knuckle bone breakers... I'm pretty sure they almost broke a rib or two..." she said trying to explain her condition. Rouge took mental notes and nodded. "Anyway... I'm going to try to get into Shelly's head." she said snd waited for Gladiator to freak out. Shelly was her equal when it came to mind games and she had told Gladiator over and over how dangerous it was just to enter a mind much less tweek with it... Expecially since it was Shelly... It was almost equivalent to suicide.

Gladiator stood motionless when he heard what she was going to do, "Yeah, that's cool. I'm behind you ... wait what did you say? You better be joking because I'm not gonna let you do that. We are a dangerous duo, but I'm serious, stay away from the whole mind connection thing. What sense would it make to kill yourself after we are making an effort to save your ass? Just hang tight, we'll be there in a few. Oh and when get there, I'll get even with those flunkies punks for you. Can we say, bullet with their names on it?" He grinned ecstatically as he made a reference to the song.

Deceit sighed knowing Gladiator was going to say that. "Really.... Baby... I can do this..." she said softly. "I can get inside her head and I can break her... Spyboyu's going to make her relax with a gaget he's making as we speak...." she said softly and Rouge's eyes grew. "Deceit you're in no medical condi-" he began but she cut him off. "Damit I know that!" she snapped and then gapsed having moved a little too fast. "I have to do this.... I saw the real shelly minutes ago and I can bring her back... But Im going to need you help baby..." she whipsered. She really needed her partner this time. "Please partner..." she whispered closing her eyes.

Spyboy nearly cheered when he got the chemical done. He smiled at Deceit, "I got it and it will work." he said happly and held up a small vial that had some weird liquid in it. "I just have to get thing into her body and her brain in start to relax. Hopefully you will be able to get into her mind then and get her to help you. You really need it." he said since he had seen the bruises and he couldn't do much to help her.

Deceit smiled at Spyboy adn gave him a high five. He deserved it for being smart like this at times when they needed it most. "Good job... Now all I need is my partner..." she said and turned her attention back to her headset. "What do you say Gladiator?" she said hoping him would back her on this crazy attempt. "Come on... This isn't as crazy as some of the stuff I've done with you." she said and smirked at the fond memories.

Lily coughed delicately and held her hand over the speaker of her headset and looked at the others. "It looks like she's got a plan. We should probably head out so that they can work together?"

E.S. nodded, "we should get going now." he said as he got up and looked at everyone. "if we want to get her out of there as soon as possible." he said and then contacted Deceit, "do it when ever you feel like since the sooner the better." he said said to her.

Spyboy nodded and and then heard foot steps comeing down teh hall. "I think she is coming." he whispered to Deceit and then got ready to shove the chemical into Shelly when she walked into the room.

Deceit looked at the door and said softly,"I love you..." and cut the connection. She then hid the headset and waited silently. She wasn't sure if she was ready but she had no choice. She would have to get into Shelly's mind now and without Galdiator's help though she had been hoping to have his help. But she could do it and put on a determined face.

Shelly walked into the room and glared at Deceit, "guess what I am going to ki-" she was cut off since Spyboy jumped and shoved the vial into her mouth and made her drink the chemical. She stumbled back and glared at hte now visible spyboy, "what in goes name do you think your doing." she growled but she could feel what ever that boy had done to her take effect. She couldn't think straight, her mind started to roam to random things and she started to feel light headed. "Deceit now!" spyboy said as he looked at her.

Deceit jumped to her feet even though her body shouldn't have been able to. She grabbed Shelly and forced her to look into her eyes. Once she got the contact she needed she began whispering to Shelly softly and rythmically her voice began to entrance her. Suddenly Shelly slumped in Deceit's arms sleeping and Deceitfell to her knees with the weight of Shelly. She then layed her friend down and touched her head. She snapped awake and Deceit smiled. "Shelly... You have to let me in... You have to let me fare down that shield... It is poisioning you.... You do not want to be this killer... You just want to be Shelly again... My friend and old partner... But you have to put your guard down..." she said as she pried against the shield holding back the old Shelly. Who ever put Shelly in this mind set was good... Scary good....

Shelly layed there and looked at Deceit. "it wont' go down." she whispered softly and even now was trying. She had tryed for years but it never worked. She didn't remember who put it up or why but after it was up she started to be mean to everyone. It was what seperated her form the true her. "but I will try." she said softly and concentrated on getting the sheild to lower, it only went a little bit at a time and it was hurting shelly but something inside of her said it was a good thing to do.

Deceit looked atherosclerosis reasuringly. "Its fine... Don't strain yourself I'll get it." she said softly. She used her soft words and eyes and began pounding down the sheild. It was amazing how strong it was and just when she had finished pounding it down another came up. She growled and cleched her teeth but began to slowly work on that one too. "Spyboy tell the others to move and come now... I have a bad feeling about this..." she whispered and then was almost done with the second sheild. There was something underneath... Somethif that was keeping Shelly from being Shelly but she would find it.

Spyboy nodded and called the others, "hurry up, we need you now." he said

E.S. got the messege and nodded. He jumped t ohis feet and looked at the others, "we move now." he said and you could tell he ment it.

Tears started to roll down Shellys cheeks since it hurt. She found herself cluching Deceits shirt like how she use to do when she was little. "it hurts." she said softly but with each wall that went down it started to become easyer and easyer to remember the good times. But it hurt since it felt like Deceit waa ripping something out of her brain that had been stappled there. After a few seconds shelly found herself muttering sorry over and over again.

Deceit shook as she was using every bit of strength and self control she had left. This was the last sheild and all she had to do was sooth Shelly after it got down. Deceit went after it with everything she had left knowing the pain was horrible for Shelly but she too felt the pain. She then destroyed it with a last burst of strength. Deceit sagged and fell to the side and hit her head on the hard ground. She passed out knowing she probably would be coming back to the living world again.

Lily clenched her jaws together. This was it. He first mission. It was going so fast but she knew that was how it happened. She followed them staying close to Venom and the others on her team.

Spyboy was about to run over to Deceit but before he could even touch her Shelly was sitting up. She looked at Deceit and tears where still running down her cheeks but she gently picked up Deceit and layed her down carefully so that she was more comfortable. She looked at the wounds and hated herself even more. She was a monster for this and she wished that she had just died. Spyboy then came over and started to look at her wounds again and Shelly cradled Deceits head gently.

Rouge grabbed Gladiator and pulled along the stunned spy. He then mobilized with the rest of the group as they advanced towards Shelly's hideout. "Im gonna try communicating with them again..." he said and pressed his head set. "Spyboy? Deceit? Come in." he said and repeated it once more incase they didn't hear it the first time.

Fox nodded and followed after E.S intently keeping close to him. He was more valuable thn she was, and she'd see to it that he and whoever else she could reach, was kept out of harms way..

Secret grabbed Wolfs hand and smiled "just like in middle school right? but with real guns not squirt guns" she laughed and followed the others quickly after hearing the conversation that had ended before.

Wolf took her hand and smiled "yep JUST like in middle schhol" he followed after the others knowing that this was nothing like before.

Fable got into the car with everyone else. Her head was focused on the mission. Though it was getting harder and harder the more it sunk in. Her brother.. The same boy who taught her practically everything she knew.. Was now working with Shelly. And not as a bodyguard. As her superior. Could he have been the one to change Shelly into what Deceit despised? Each though was pushed away as she gripped the handle to the inside of the car. Her knuckles were white.

Gladiator followed behind Rouge as he made his way to the other team members, he whispered to himself, "I love you too and I got your back Babe." He clutched the gun that belonged to Deceit and grinned almost menacingly. "Rouge how fast do you think we can down those guys at the place where they are holding Deceit? I wanna make them suffer, dude," he said with a hint of amusement because he was going to enjoy making his victims hurt as much as possible.

Rouge looked at Gladiator as they came upon shelly's hideout. He pulled out his gun and looked at Gladiator. "I don't know but we need to hurry... They aren't responding..." he said and grabbed a few darts. "We have our cover in three two one..." he said and heard the decoy team move in. He then got out and began going towards the back door and threw the darts nailing both guys in the neck. They crumpled instantly and he kicked down the door.
