(I didnt see you post before me so i edited the names in there. and i think that Rain is waiting for the guy to speak so she can keep posting.

It feels wierd not being Nuvy and Kyrii... I missed you)

Dy looked at the man from earlier. "I will have a cheese omlete and so will my sister. Can i have some whiskey too. Kyrii will have a glass of milk when she comes back." He looked at the traveler curiously. Who was this man. He was so unfamiliar to him it made his brain go nuts. He stopped thinking about it as Kyrii walked inside.

Kyrii walked inside. Or rather skipped to a happy beat as she came back sitting in between her brother and the man. "So whats your name? My name is Kyrii." She smiled as she turned to the man who had helped her. She tried to seem boyish but it had failed with the name so she just gave up.

Dy looked at her and did another facepalm. Boy im going to smack her silly one of these days. Shes never cautious enough to handle people. "I got you a cheese omlete sis. And some milk." He just sighed and shook his head at her as he told her what he had ordered.

"Cool. I love eggs and cheese. Milk is good too. Oh Puck wants you to go back there and visit. Hes not use to you not being around and hes getting restless." She smiled at her brother and turned back to the man.

((I know right? Aw, I missed you too. I was hoping things would move along in that RP so I could have Nuvy talk to Kyrii again. Guess not. I wonder when it'll resume. Oh well, we've got this one now. n.n

Gren noticed the female's brother watching him closely, he turned to look at him and was about to say something when again his sister came bouncing back in. His eyes went from the female's happy and friendly face to the brother's as he smacked himself in the face with his palm... Again. He chuckled softly seeing the brother's expression, his reaction was not mean to be rude by any means. Looking back to the bright eyed female named 'Kyrii' he answered her, "I'm Gren Eckheart, a pleasure to meet you Kyrii." He said with a friendly half smile. "And your brother is?" He asked looking to the other male questioningly.

Kyrii told her brother about 'Puck' growing restless then, Gren assumed this was the man's horse's name seeing as nothing else would make sense to be out there and reacting so. He guessed that introductions with the male would have to wait. Then again, maybe it was best if he just left for some time to give his sister some space since Gren felt he needed to be extra careful with what he said or did around the young female.

((Wow, I didn't even see Rain's post. Oops. ))

Back in the small alcove where James and the girl sat he nodded slightly. There was already much movement out there, but he paid it no mind. As long as none came bothering him, then he would not bother them. Although soon he'd have to go tend to the garden. It was always such difficult work though so he was putting it off.

"There are many secrets that you may accidentally find out. Myself being one of them. And the only way I'd let you work here would be if you could keep things to yourself and not tell any of the customers."

Back out in the bar Kyou nodded to Gren. He seemed nice enough, and was obviously of the traveling sort. But she couldn't help but be a little weary of him. She always had a bit of uncertainty about strangers, so she kept herself polite.

"Yes please, all weapons have to be stored in the safe closet. Such is the way it goes."

She winked at him and grinned as she picked up all the blades in her arms, careful not to drop any as she made her way to the closet. She'd know if he forgot any. But she was certain he wouldn't quite be that foolish. Inside the storage room she placed his weapons next to those of the siblings, careful not to get them mixed. Upon leaving she resealed all of the protections.

"So that's three omelets, a whiskey and a milk. I'll get right on that."

She smiled to all of them and started getting the cheese and eggs ready to make the omelets. She headed through a small door into the kitchen to start getting the stove heating up. While it did so she fixed up a glass of whiskey and a glass of milk and took it back into the bar area.

"Here you are my dears. The omelets should only take a moment."

(Lol well it is a big brother thinking his little sister is being stupid. wouldnt you if you had a little sister do what shes doing?)

Kyrii looked at him and closed her eyes smiling. "Gren Eckheart? I LIKE IT" She said almost excited to meet a new person. She put out her hand to shake enthusiastically. "Nice to meet you. Oh and this duffus' name is Dymanion... Dy for short. He hates his name."

Dy looked at her then away rolling his eyes. He took the drink in his hands. He might need this just to keep sane. He took a deep breath. What was it with her. Did she not know that she was suppose to be a boy now? Shes so clueless. "Ill take care of him after breakfast ok?" He looked back at her and ruffled her hair taking the hat off "

Kyrii looked at him taking the milk and drinking it. "ok cool. So what do you do for a living?" She asked the man curiously and eyed his clothing and things.

"KYRII thats rude. Dont do that." He took her in his arms and pulled her back a bit. "Im sorry. She doesnt think before she speaks anymore and has a little TOO much energy." He said it sincerely to Gren hoping he didnt find it to rude. "Calm down" He said to his energetic sister letting her go.

((Oh, I do that with my brother from time to time actually. lol))

Gren returned a smile at the lady's wink towards him as she took his weapons to the spare closet. He understood the protectiveness of Kyrii's brother and was sure there was some uneasiness with him being here with others. It was natural for others to feel that way around him due to his nature, he was beginning to slowly get use to the unusual feeling from others. His mind quickly going back with the things he had seen so far over the years of his traveling, plague, pillaging, destruction, and far worse. Humans and other species seemed to be so eager to destroy it had seemed, a sad thing that was found in this world everywhere one looked. Though with the bad, there was still good here and he had to remember just that.

Gren shook Kyrii's hand as she exclaimed that she approved of his name, the gesture and outburst had taken him aback slightly. No one had been so eager to meet a stranger before. Listening to the siblings exchange words about the horse then Kyrii's attention back on Gren he laughed as Dymanion, 'Dy' for short grabbed hold and scolded his sister.

A half smile grew on his lips as he looked back to Dy, "It is quite alright, I understand wanting to learn about new things and people in your travels. After all, what would traveling be for if you couldn't?" His smile grew and faded slowly as he answered then, "I don't do much for a living to be honest Kyrii." He was lying of course since he seemed to be taking small side jobs here and there where he could find them. Living as a hired blade demanded that he be on the move quite a bit, which was convenient since he had no home and traveled frequently already.

"I just find work here and there when I can. Now since you've asked me a question I think that it is my turn. Why do you hide your fox ears there?" He asked pointing a finger at her now revealed ears atop her head. "Though I am also curious as to why you are trying to pose as a male as well." He added with a chuckle.

She nodded to herself, leaving the three of them alone to talk. She never was good with this sort of thing. People talking and such. She did talk to them of course. She'd be a bad bartender if she didn't. But she couldn't just jump into conversations. So she left and went back to the kitchen. Best to just serve them and get back to doing her chores. Lots to do today. And that was fine with her.

Humming softly to herself she opened the carton of eggs, frowning as she only saw 3 eggs. Ah well. Only enough for omelets for them. That was alright though. She'd fix some toast for herself or something. It wouldn't kill her. Still humming she cracked open one egg, pouring it into the pan and stirring it around to get it all spread out. At the same time she poured in some recently shredded cheese. She always kept a good stash handy. She'd made many of these in the past so it wasn't too difficult to make up all three of the omelets rather quickly, putting them on matching white plates that had decorative vines around the gilded edges. Still humming she loaded all three plates into her arms and took them back to the bar, gently setting them on the counter.

"Is there anything else I can get anyone?" She asked, her hands gently brushing a bit of flecks of cheese from her skirt.

Kyrii stared at the man when he said he wanted to ask a question hoping for it to be a good one. Why do you hide your fox ears there?" He asked pointing a finger at her now revealed ears atop her head. "Though I am also curious as to why you are trying to pose as a male as well." She looked at her brother for some help. He was shaking his head but she pouted at him. It was rude to have your question answered but not answer his question. "Im a fox demon and people are after me for it. There arnt any in the area i use to live and people wanted me so they killed my parents." She opened the back of her pants letting her tail out. "Im dressed as a boy so that the men wont recognize me if they actually catch us. They know im a girl. They dont know i cut my hair and wear boys clothes now."

Dy looked shocked at the question. His sister looked at him for help and he shook his head in alarm. Please dont do it. Please dont be stupid and tell him. She started to talk and then let her tail out. He hit his head on the table. "Another whiskey please." He held out the empty cup to anyone behind the bar with his head on it. He hoped they would come soon and just let him get drunk. How could she tell, Then SHOW him what she was. Not only did she tell him their secret but she also told him the strategy of their secret. Could i have a dumber sister.

Kyrii looked back at her brother in an ouch reaction as she heard the bang on the top of the bar. He was mad at her and wanted to drink it off. So early in the morning though? "Come on bro its not that bad. He kinda figured it out himself. Im just giving it a boost." She rubbed his back as she drank her milk. She put the glass down looking at Gren Eckheart. "I noticed some tension in your voice when you said that you didnt do much for a living. Were you lying? What do you really do?"

Dy started to hit his head on the table more but softer now. His sister just called him out trying to justify what she said. There was no justification. Then she said"I noticed some tension in your voice when you said that you didnt do much for a living. Were you lying? What do you really do?" He looked up at the question. Foxes have good ears. Was he really trying to lie in front of a proffesional trickster and lier? Although she didnt do it that much it was in her blood.

((Dy is continuing to amuse me.))

Gren could smell the omelets as the woman cooked them up in the kitchen behind the bar's wall. He was eager to eat also not having much in his system for some time now, it had been awhile since he had hunted or had some substantial meal of sorts. He nodded his head listening to Kyrii tell him what she was and why she dressed the way she did. Seeing the anxious exchange between brother and sister this was a serious issue. "Then your brother is one also I assume?" He asked Kyrii looking to Dy. He hadn't seemed like he would have ears and tail as well, and how would he be concealing himself from the world since Kyrii was.

His eyes looked at the bushy tail as she let it wiggle freely in the air, his eyes were on the tail as she questioned him further. "No. I wasn't lying." He answered in a calm tone as he offered a smile meeting her eyes once again. There were things he would discuss and others he would not so freely with newcomers. He could only trust himself for the time being, though he would be courteous when he met new people.

He looked to the bartender as she came back bearing plates with food. "Ah, time to eat then." He smiled at her grateful for the interruption to the slight tension that was slowly building between the siblings and he. Taking a fork in hand, Gren cut a piece off of the omelet and put it into his mouth. Chewing slowly he savoured the simple taste of the egg and cheese before swallowing. "Very good." He complimented the woman. "I think I'm good for the time being, thank you though." He answered her question. "May I ask your name though miss?" He asked her wanting to know who the kind hostess of this place was.

Kyrii stared at the man and dismissed the last question she had. She looked at him as she smelled the delicious omelets. To answer his question towards her she smiled. "Nope hes human. Pure human though i have to say people like you and him are interesting in the way of emotions." She giggled.

Dy put his head back down holding out the cup to the woman as she placed the plate beside him. "A refill please. Shes killing me." He didnt realize he said that out loud about his sister. As he realized the eggs were next to him he jolted up and looked at them eyeing them completely then smiled devilishly. Delicious food. Food thats not hunted down. YUM. He licked his lips and took the fork digging into it and taking the bite. He savored it in his mouth as he looked up to the heavens. It was an amazing taste. When it was done his head was a little bobbly while his mouth was open and his eyes where almost at the back of his head. He snapped back and digged in again.

Kyrii watched her brothers reaction and started to dig in herself. She ate it and giggled. ITS SO GOOD OMG. HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH. She savored the taste as well. She giggled as she finished the last of it in her mouth. She started to hop in her seat in enjoyment. "THIS IS DELICIOUS." She started to scarf it down and drank the last of her milk. "AHHHH that was tasty. Can i have some toast too?... Your a great cook!!! She smiled at the woman."

With a small grin Kyou did a mock bow to the man, gesturing as though she had a hat in one hand as she did so, placing the pretend hat back on her head afterwards. "I'm glad you like it love. Its one of those quick and easy sort of foods that tends to be a staple around here."

She winked a little and tucked a stray bit of hair back behind her ear. She felt a bit out of place out here among her customers. But that was alright. She'd go have herself a bit of rum when they weren't looking. Rum made everything better. And when you have a very high alcohol tolerance, it was just that much more fun. She always won drinking contests around here. Not that there had been any in a while. At the thought of it though her belly rumbled quietly again. Perhaps she should go have that toast.

Ah but she was being rude. She hadn't even told the man her name. How silly of her. "My name is Kyou. No need to call me miss or any such nonsense as that. Just Kyou and only Kyou."

She grinned looking at the siblings, glad that they were enjoying the omelets. It was always good to feed travelers. Especially young ones. They needed their strength more than anything.

"I'm glad the two of you like it. I'll fix up some toast then for you as well."

Gren grinned before taking a few more bites of his omelet, chewing and swallowing before he answered. "Thank you again Kyou. For a main staple around here it sure is good. I'm not very good at cooking myself actually." He chuckled remembering the countless disastrous times that he has tried and failed in some way, shape or form. "Weren't you hungry as well?" He asked looking at her then at his food. "Join us won't you? Unless we're keeping you from other things. Keeping a place probably has to have a lot of work put into it to maintain it." He commented looking around.

His eyes rested on the siblings as they quickly ate the rest of their food happily. He looked at Dy first then back at Kyrii. It was a wonder that the pair could look much a like and only one turn out to be a fox demon. Perhaps it was a gene thing where only females picked up the traits, he wasn't sure. Though he was curious as to what Kyrii had meant by being interesting in the ways of emotions. He hadn't really shown any kind of dramatic if really any change here so was unsure what she had meant.

He finished his omelet quietly listening to the others chatter about the food, it was indeed good. Done with it, he leaned back in his chair his eyes going to the window outside.

((Hey guys, I need to get some sleep. Sorry! I'm enjoying the RP and hope to see you two on tomorrow. Night!))

"Thankies" Kyrii said as she clapped for the womans dance. It was like breakfast and a show for her. She stopped clapping and turned towards the door. Something felt weird. Was it them? Was it the men who were after her?. She stuffed her tail back in her pants and put the hat back on. "Ill be up in my room. let my brother take the bread up to me or something. Thanx alot.

Dy felt so drunk and out of place he started twirling while eating the omelet. It was so good to taste real cooked food. He finished his plate looking at everyone. "Whyyyy did the shicken crossss said road?" he said to Gren. "Cuz could cluck walk. get it cluck walk?" He stood straight up feeling a little sober as he too felt something. Kyrii had gotten up and went upstairs to her room and he sat on the bar with his head down. Not now of all times. Cant they see im drunk?

About four of five men walked in all wearing cloaks and hoods. They didnt show their weapons as they looked at the bar. They took a seat at one of the round tables and talked amongst themselves.

Dy looked at Gren. "If the toast comes out before i get back could you take it up to my brother please? That would be great." He got up to go tend to the horses and walked out of the tavern. He got to the stable and visited Puck getting him ready with the saddle and bit in case they needed a quick get away. The stable had two exits. The front and the back. They could go through the back. He finished with Puck and started on Riley. Once he was finished he came back into the tavern sitting at the bar again.

Pushing the door open as the window blew the cloaked figure moves in shutting the door behind it. Standing off to the side and standing up to a full 5'8 she shifted popping her back as she glanced around for a moment her ice blue eyes taking in her surrondings. She blinked for a moment to let her eyes ajust to the light of the fires from the darkness of the outside. Reaching up with a gloved hand she pushed her hair out of her face as she pulled the hoode down her Blue hair cascading down around her pale face. She looked around taking in the diffrnent people as she moved locating a empty table by the fire place. Pulling the chair out with her foot she sat down her back to the fire as she let the warmth of it seep up and over her. She had been traveling for so long that is was nice to take a break. She let out a sigh as she felt her self warm up- stating to get feeling back in her body

She ran a hand over her hair. She'd picked up that habit from a human a while back. She just couldn't help it sometimes. Idle hands were never a good thing, which was she was always moving. Being a bartender was the perfect job for her. She definitely enjoyed it. Being able to meet all of these people.

"I'm glad that you enjoy it, I really do, but there's a few more things I have to do. I must make some toast and such for the other two and there's a few other things. But perhaps afterwards I'll sit down to join you."

Just as she said that she saw the group of men in cloaks walk in. She wasn't foolish and she knew that they were carrying blades. And that just wasn't going to happen here. She moved from behind the counter and went over to the table where they sat, her hands going to flatten her skirt a little as she stood in front of them.

"Alright boys, welcome to my tavern. Now, before I get you anything I think you should hand over the weapons. I keep them in a safe closet. That's our only rule is that there are to be no weapons of any type."

She waited at the table, watching them as another girl came in. She smiled at the new girl and made a motion towards the bar. The girl was apparently quite cold, so hopefully she would warm up in here. She'd get the girl a drink, but she wanted to be certain that she took care of getting the blades from the strange group of men at the table.

her glowing grey eyes took in the girl that smiled at her. She gave a slight bow of her head for a moment before arching her back shaking out the see through wings at her back. turning towards the fire she arched her back before shivering...

After a few moment she shifted in her seat sliding the wings back where they came from. Reaching a hang up she undid the clasp at her throat sliding of off to revile a poet shirt corset top and skirts with boots.. As the dark cape slid off the light of the fire shone off the fabric making it apper to be crackling ice. Rubbing her hands together she looked over at the group of armed men.. tilting her head to the side for a moment she sigh as she spoke a faint accent being carried across the room " Miss.. ye might want to get the blade they have at there boot as well.. least the one in the middle... And if the one on the end makes a move more i say hit him where he sits.. he's going for a blade" her cool blue eyes bore into the man a cool aura coming down around her as she dared him to move

The men looked at the woman who came up and smiled for she was beautiful. "Alright boys, welcome to my tavern. Now, before I get you anything I think you should hand over the weapons. If you really want to meddle while we are getting our weapons off you might want to stay over there. Its not like we are going to harm a beautiful woman. And she wont harm us if we are guests so just stay over there at the fire and leave us alone." He seemed quite serious when saying this. The little girl was being a trouble maker when they didnt want any trouble.

Dy had walked back in and watched everything that had happened. The girl over by the fire had spoken up before the men could even move to get their weapons out. He laughed a little at their response. The woman was beautiful but that was a little mean to say to a freezing girl only trying to help the woman. He walked over to the bar in silence. Sitting down next to Gren he groaned. "Their as lovely as ever"

The men watched him walk in and talked amongst themselves as they put all their weapons on the table. "Is that him? I thought they were about 3 days ahead of us? That cant be him. Hes too scrawny"

Dy made a sound as if being punched in the gut. "Scrawny? im not Scrawny" He said under his breath. She eyed them through the corner of his eye as he lowered his head keeping his shoulders up. "I cant believe they called me scrawny. what is this world coming to where a man cant be skinny and good looking? huh?" He made arm motions to what he had said forgetting Gren was there. He still said everything under his breath. "Its only been a day or so without food. im not that scrawny. Your little guy is scrawny you ratty ba*****s. Ill get you for that one day."

Kyou raised an eyebrow towards the girl that had come in. She could obviously sense the men's blades, but she didn't really need the help. She knew of all of their tools when they'd come in the door. Metal had a very distinct smell on it. She hoped that the girl may try not to cause trouble. She had good intentions certainly, but sometimes one needed to tread with care around these type of creatures.

Again, she held out her hand. "Now now boys. Just hand them over and I'll go fix you up something to drink. This place is a place of peace and if the peace is broken... well... let's just say that I'd hate for anyone here to become food for the roses outside." She winked a little, placing her other hand on her hip as she waited for them to pull everything out.

((And off to work. See everyone afterwards.))

The mens belongings were on the table as they sat back. "Ok so can we order or do we wait for you to come back out of politeness." He said it seriously so that the woman would know that she could come back for their order.

Dy laughed at what they had said. And they call me scrawny. Well their bulk doesnt match their manners. Their manners are scrawny. He took his new drink and started to drink it. Knowing they had come so close to finding out that he was the one they were after with his sister just upstairs.

Kyrii walked down the stairs as a boy and went towards her big brother. Her cap was on correctly and she had made the tail not so puffy so as to not puff up her pants. She looked around at the men then sat next to her brother at the bar. She whispered to him. "what did i miss." She looked over at the men then back at the bar where her brother looked like he got kicked by Puck again.

He made the sound of getting kicked by a horse again as she asked the question. "Well you are such a little stupid boy. What would happen while your gone upstairs playing jacks or something. Nothing happened. Theres just more people down here thats all. A freezing girl and a table of bufoons."

The men at the table glared at him. How dare he call them bufoons. They were skilled hunters. Instead of doing anything about it they just laughed. The scrawny kid wasnt worth their time.

Gren smiled in response to Dy's comment about the woman being beautiful. "Yes, indeed they are." He sighed softly feeling that small bit of loneliness creep inside him once again. It seemed that Dy was sober enough now that he was making small talk and complete sentences when it came to the group of men that came in the door. He quickly looked over the new female that had walked in, a foreigner as well to these lands it had seemed.

Looking back to the group as they slowly complied with Kyou's rule about their weapons, he leaned over to Dy and whispered slowly as to not be obvious in front of the men, "These the guys you and your brother talking about earlier?" He used 'brother' on purpose for Kyrii's sake not wanting to alert them more then what they already were, Dy not helping in his argument about not being 'scrawny'.

It was then that he noticed Kyrii join them in the tavern once again, he noticed that she had her hat and tail in proper place and seemed alert. He was sure the siblings could handle themselves, the had plenty of help at the ready it seemed if they made any sort of move.

[[Gah! Sorry about that. I have conditioning and everything after school for soccer and it sucks because we have to run around for two hours straight. Anywho..]]

Alohilani nodded. "I won't tell anyone about you, whatever it may be, if it's a secret. I'm not in the position to tell anyone other people's business. I'd be grateful if you hired me." Himself? What did he mean by that? She had a few things in mind, but she wasn't sure if she should start guessing. It was downright rude, especially if you said something totally the opposite. Like vampires and werewolves. You don't get them mixed up, because then everyone would get all pissy at you and glare at you all day.

Kyrii looked at the man. "Sorry" She whispered in a girlish voice. She looked at the newly filled milk and started to drink it.

Dy looked at the man sitting next to Kyrii. "Yes those are the men the ones. but we wont let them know that." He said quietly.

The man who spoke most of the time looked at the aparent boy that had walked down the stairs going to the skinny man at the bar. They looked like brothers but there was something familiar about this. They both had white hair. This seemed too familiar. He watched them as the boy got up on the bar between his brother and the other bulky man at the bar. They had started to talk. One of the other men slapped him on the back as the men started singing a drunk mans song before the would get drunk. The mission came first but what was a little fun before they did it. Besides the two were brothers and they were looking for a girl. He joined in the song as they swayed back and forth.

Kyrii listened to the song. "They arnt even drunk yet" She laughed. "why would they be singing a drinking song." She looked at Gren. "So whats up?"

Dy looked at the men as they sang and let out a sigh of relief. Ahh a success. They didnt know it was really them here at the bar that they had been chasing. The hair might give it away though. Hell dye his tonight if he has to.

Gren glanced over at the group who began to sing. It was an odd thing indeed for that to begin so early in the day yet, that and they had indeed not frank enough if any at all yet. He nodded looking back at Dy acknowledging what he had said about them. "Indeed we won't let them know." He responded quieter.

His attention went to Kyrii as she asked what was 'up'. Gren smiled slightly, "I guess the ceiling is up as well as the sky." He answered her with a chuckle. "Did you get enough to eat then?" He asked her now that she seemed to be more calm since she wasn't snarfing any more food down. Since the group of men seemed to be in an alright mood for the moment he decided to pay them little to no attention for the time being. They would be fine here while under Kyou's roof he was sure of that fact.

Kyrii looked at him smiling. "Nah i still havent gotten my toast. but i think i want to dye my hair. What do you think about a redish color or something. This was bleached. Do you think the ladies would like it." Meaning boys she played her character as if he was a ladies man. Little boys were hard to act out. She thought she could do it like this.

Dy looked at her when she mentioned dying her hair. She stole his idea. He laughed at the cieling joke and at the quiet mention of not saying anything to the men. He couldnt help it. He flipped his hair to get some of it out of his face. "So travaling huh? Did you bring a horse? We can take care of him."

Kyrii jumped at the idea of taking care of another horse. They were her favorite creatures. She stopped getting excited for a moment remembering she was suppose to be a guy... "Whoops" she said softly
