She smiled back and jumped out of the three store window knowing he'd catch her, that and she didn;t want James to stab him this was the fastest easyest way she could think of.

"No, Belle!"he called and ran to catch her, which he did.
"Don't ever do that again...you were lucky to have me catch you..."he said still surprised at what she did.

SHe smiled as he cought her " well I knew you'd catch me" she said simply ignoring James for the time being.

"Time to get out of here...It'll be easy though just toss James aside..."he said leading her back to his castle.

She smiled " OH I tried that years ago" She said to him then turned to face James " James dear" She started off sweetly then her manner changed to a frigidness only the lords and lady's had, " I believe I cast you away three years ago why are you still doing things like this?" She demanded
" your mine simple as that" he growled at her she sighed and shook her head
" I am not an object James, That's why I ditched you"
" and for what this abomination of nature?" she growled lightly
" The better choice in my eyes" She said before turning and walking away. leaving James shocked and his ego bruised.

The beast smirked and continued to walk with Belkle at his side.
"When we return, I want you to rest...you have the day off."he said.
"Don't ever scare me like that again Belle...I know it was probably the only way, but you could have gotten hurt."he added as they approached the castle.

Belle couldn't help but roll her eyes She did not agrue at all. just simply glade he hadn;'t picked up on her manner back there. that was something she did not wish to share with him.

They entered the house and he quickly left to his room and tried not to slam the door.

what was that? you think he returned with Belle? she wrote.
"Who knows Jeane...let's keep on working, he seems upset and he must be tired. Is the dinner almost ready?"she added patting Jeane's back and went to the others to check.
Jeane, however, shuddered before walking after Eofe.

Belle looked up in the direction he walked off in, she frowned something troubling him. Sine he did go through the trouble of rescuing her she went up to his room and knocked on the door wishing to know if she had offend him.

He heard the knock and sighed.
"Belle, go and rest...."He said knowing she would probably enter anyway.

She nodded and walked over to the bed, she sat on the edge and took her shoes off before laying down under the covers

"That's true...What to do now..."he said looking at her and then leaving to the bookshelf. He removed a book from the shelf, it was about the Renaissance era.

She shrugged " I doubt Jams will try anything soon" She said lightly as she closed her eyes. She gave a small yawn and went to sleep. needing to sleep since she didn't all last night.

He sighed and let her sleep. Soon he went to check on the servants.
"Jeane, how's everything?"he asked. She turned to him and curtsied.

"Very well...you may begin to serve the food please..."he said and went to wash up.

She slept for some hours before waking. she looked around and figured he must have went off to play the piano or something. it was now almost twilight so she went to her own room she change and get cleaned up.

He waited in the parlour until he heard a bell. Then he went to the kitchen and was greeted with food.

The servants looked over at Belle and noticed that no one was talking.
"How odd..."whispered Eofe. Jeane turned to her and cocked her head in curiosity.
"Our lord is silent...Belle is silent too! I wonder if anything is wrong..."she sighed.
Do not worry Eofe friend...they are probably tired of talking and very hungry. suggested Jeane in a piece of parchment paper.

Belle ate in silence for some time before it got to her. she calmly set her fork down beside her plat and turned to him " M'lord something is troubling may I know what it is?" She asked him. not even realizing her mannerisms where that of a high class lady better suited to a royal court then at at some tiny village.

"Nothing is wrong with me Belle. I find it hard to believe that more things that are wrong with me can even happen...."he sighed.
"I guess the only troubling thing right now, is that I'm worried James will return."he said.
"Other than that, I'm fine...just a little tired and bored."he added looking at her.
