Rain was furious with Akemi. "See what you did? We would have been fine without it!" Rain sighed and leaned back in her chair, putting her feet up on the table, rubbing her forehead.

Derrick sighed and jogged after Evie. "Evie.... Wait up. Evie? Come on..." Derrick caught up to her eventually in another hallway, grabbing her and holding her to him. "Akemi was being an asshole, really. Rain got pretty upset with him too." Derrick held her close, not letting her walk away. "I don't know what happened to you back there but I'll help you, and stay with you." He took his glasses off and stuck them in his pocket.

Freya's eyes watched as Evie stood abruptly to leave the kitchen, seeing the tears in her eyes. "Don't worry about her. she'll be fine, she seems like a tough one." Des thought to Freya as she wanted to try and drag their attention back onto the pancakes. Biting her bottom lip, Freya thought back to her Other "I don't know, she seems pretty upset. Maybe I should go talk to her." She had stood right when Derrick followed after her, deciding it best to sit again.

Evalign

Evie struggled a bit at first as he wrapped his arms around her, wanting to get away and dissapear. After a few moments she stopp and clung to him, silently crying into his chest. She didnt want to tell him about Adam, and Michi sure as hell wasnt going to. She just held onto him and stood in silece as she tears made darks spots on his shirt.

And so, he approached Evie, with black eyes and muscles relaxed but not as much so as Percival's, he spoke. By now, when he spoke through Percival, it could be told from when Percival was speaking, but this sounded even more like him, a John never seen before, neither by elf, nor by human. "Evie, I cannot tell you, but I must... His eyelashes where moist, a lump in his throat prevented him from speaking

Evie heard John's voice and lightly pulled away from Derricks chest to look at him with tear stained cheeks. Here eyes were red and puffy, the iris's a pale dead purple.

It was still Jonathan, speaking directly. "Even if you are with Derrick, whoever you are with, my heart...Will be yours, and yours alone! Or else nobody's!" By this point, he was still refusing to weep, as much as he wanted to. Percival helped him to ease the tears. He quickly grabbed his staff and left Percival had told him already about Derrick.

Evie's eyes were wide as John practically yelled his devotion at her. Her heart started to ache at how she had hurt the man and bit her lip angrily. Her teared welled up again as she watched him storm off, her voice caught in her throat. She was un able to speak, unable to do anything but cling to Derrick and crying in silence.

((Sorry guys, I need to head off. Get some sleep for tomorrow since I've got some Christmas stuff to take care of yet. Night!))

At their room, Percival and Jonathan lied down on the bed. What will I do now? Will I ever talk to her again? Even if I could, would it ever be the same? Will any of us ever be the same? These and a million other questions burned in his mind. Percival did what he could to help. He did love John, Now, everyone knows of your love, none of us will be quite the same.

Rain/Akemi

Rain rubbed her temples, getting up and grabbing two pancakes from the plate. She threw some strawberries, whip cream and powdered sugar on top, along with syrup everywhere. "Might as well eat." Rain couldn't help but think badly of the outcome. Johnathan loved Evie, Evie and Derrick were with each other, and she knew eventually Johnathan would open up and Derrick would get pissed off about it. Don't think that way. I'm sure we'll all even out somehow..

Derrick let out a low growl as Johnathan fessed up his love for Evie. Evie began crying into his chest again, and he held her there, kissing the top of her head, stroking her back. This is going to be a problem.. Yes, indeed. I'm afraid this could go one of two ways, both might help or hurt you. I will not tell you what the ways are, but I can assume you already have some idea of what will happen. Yeah... I just hope.. I mean, maybe Johnathan's love for her will fade away... I have no intention of giving up Evie. They both sighed inside their head, Derrick pulling Evie away from his chest. "Evie.. Please stop crying. I don't like to see you cry, you know.. It irritates me. As well as.. other things."

Evalign

Evie looked up at him, slightly angry. "Well then go. Im sorry be being upset irritates you, Im sorry IM irritating you!" She pulled away and walked off to her room, curling up on her bed. Rummaging in her bag she found a stuffed kitty Michi had pciked out a few months ago when Evie and her mom were shopping. She cuddled it to her chest and she stayed silent in the room, her tears starting to dry. Im really sure Derrick isnt like Adam, Evie...I dont think he'll go away.. Evie sighed. Its not him leaving that I worry about..though my little tantrum might steer him away.. She curled up tight. I just can stand the whisperes and the disgusting thoughts people have of me here...They were going away...but I know this will bring them back.. Evie.. Michi..can we go to the pet store tomorrow? I dont feel like moving at all.. Mentally, Michi nodded, giving her host a hug.

Rain & Akemi

Rain sighed and kicked her feet under her chair, looking around the room and seeing the girl called Freya. She smiled and went back to her pancakes. Her eyes widened when she tasted the pancake and Akemi popped out, scarfing it down. That's GOOD. I WANT MORE. Rain pushed herself back to control and slowly ate the other pancake. She laughed at Akemi's new love for pancakes. When the pancake was finished, she walked out of the door, finding Derrick on the floor. He didn't look mad or anything, just like he was thinking. She walked around and waved to him. "Thanks for the pancakes. Akemi loved them." Derrick smiled his acknowledgement. Rain skipped down the hallway (kinda hard to do in heels. Trust me) and knocked on Evie's door. "Evie? It's Rain."

Derrick & Noelani

Derrick sunk down on the floor after Evie left. He looked up as Rain walked by, waving and smiling and saying something about his pancakes. He smiled and watched her walk away, skipping in her heels. He smiled to himself, thinking of Michi. She was a cute little girl, energetic and crazy. Noey liked her a lot, and he knew Michi liked Noey as well. His smile faded when he thought of Evie. He loved her, and he had thought that she'd loved him. After her little temper tantrum, he didn't know if she was mad at him or just caught up in the moment. She was obviously upset about everyone messing with her about the bite mark, and he didn't know if she had had something happen to her in the past. He scratched his head and got off the floor, pulling his glasses off and sticking them in his pocket.

When he reached his room, he saw Rain at Evie's door. "Hey, Rain.. Tell Evie that I said I love her." Rain nodded, and he went inside his room and laid on the bed, not bothering to remove his tear-stained shirt. Isn't that cute? I'm sorry for bothering you, Derrick. I know I nag a bit much, but it''s neccessary with your ass getting into everything. Yeah.. And you finally said 'ass' and not 'rear' or 'behind'! I'm impressed, Noeybear. Just like I am with your gentlemanlyness. You came from some powerful people, you know, and I think if you showed back up now, all nice and neat, they'd probably be willing to re-own you. Derrick flinched with the memory of his mother telling him they were disowning him. He shook it off and looked around for Jade. "There you are! Commere, Jade." He patted his chest, knowing she liked to lay there. Jade purred as he stroked her fur.

A strange man came into the infirmary when the nurses had been napping and had done something to Azura and Rose...instantly they woke up, both trying to take control at the same time. Their eyes scintillating back and forth between red and blue, the man disappeared once the girls woke up. "What the Hell!!" Azura finally took control, waking the nurses with her screaming. They rushed to her to calm her and try to find out what happened. Azura had no idea she was in a deep REM state the whole time until she had screamed. Rose, however, knew what had happened and explained that Azura had fallen into a sudden coma and something awoke her from the coma waking Rose at the same time. The nurse dismissed Azura after checking all her vitals, she was alright to go and set out into the haven. She walked to her room waving to Rain who was at Evie's door.

Evalign

Evie heard Rains softl voice and sat up, sighing. Before she got to the door she heard Derrick say something to her. Pressing her ear to the door she heard "tell Evie i love her" And she pouted. He sounds sad... I know... Evie sighed. Its my fault... She heard Derricks door closed and then opened hers, seeing Rain. "Hey.." She said, her eyes still slightly puffy. Her eyes averted to Azura, she had a wristband from the infirminary and she slightly narrowed her eyes in concern. "Are you ok?"

"Yea....I think I am..." Azura said looking at Evie and Rain. "Are you okay? You yourself look a little...down." She spoke and walked over to Evie and rubbed her arm in sympathy.

Evalign

Evie nodded. "Just bad memories popping up.." She looked up and down the hall and let the two girls in. Closing the door she walked over and sat on her bed, Rain sitting next to her. "Its just a heartbreak sob story..thats all." She pulled her legs up onto the bed, the heels of her feet on the edge as she hugged her knees. "I love boy, boy said he loved me, things went fast, boy left. Thats pretty much the jist."

Though Homany and Tally had decided to leave long ago, both had been quite tired and had drifted off for a bit while watching their cartoons. They awoke with a start when Tom and Jerry came on and a BOOM! sounded on the screen. Sitting up, Tally in control, she rubbed her head. It's like having a hangover... Yeah. I know what you mean. Homany groaned and stretched inwardly. They stood up together, almost needing both of their strengths to do so, and raised their arms as high as they could. Sickening popping noises sounded throughout the room as their stiff joints cracked.

Alright... Now that that is out of our system... How about we do what we were going to do earlier? Homany asked as he took control, making their eyes darken, and headed toward the door. And what might that be? Tally managed to reply around a yawn. We're going to meet the other... Others, in the world of the Haven. If she'd been up to it, Tally would have fought this notion. She didn't though, for as Homany gained strength with that body stretch, it had only made her more tired; she wasn't the type to function on the normal amount of sleep. She needed about twice that to survive and function, or so she claimed. Homany on the other hand didn't need much sleep at all. He'd been a partier and heavy drinker at one point in his first life and had become very used to not sleeping much, if he slept at all.

As Homany exited the room, he extended his mind out to the rooms around theirs. There weren't many in their rooms at the time. In fact, there was no one until he reached Evie's door. Using only a tiny thread of thought so as not to be detected (some people, especially those with others, could 'feel' his presence in their mind, though this was very rare), Homany peered through Evie's mind. He discovered Michi, he discovered Evie's name and age, he then discovered Derrick and the drama that being together last night had caused. Homany's face turned sympathetic as he looked through more and more memories, skimming over those where Evie and Derrick had been together thinking those to personal, but looking closely at the moments of teasing and the reason that the jesting hurt her so badly. Poor girl... The heart is a fragile thing... And hers was ripped apart... And if I have any say, it was fixed with nothing more than tape... Such a pity... He whispered, back in his own mind. He shook his head and let it droop a bit. None of this reached Tally, she was dead asleep in the very back reaches of their shared mind.

Evalign

Evie's head perked up as she felt a twinge in her mind and used her telepahy to search around. Someone's outside my door.. She though, Michi was very curious. Well lets say hi? Evie got up, immediately going to her door and opened it. Seeing the girl she leaned against her door frame and crossed her arms. "Mind telling me why your snooping through my head?" Dont be mean Evie, she looks nice. Michi she was tapping my mind for info and i want to know why... Evie could see his knew found knowledge in the girls head already, being fresh in her mind.

Homany jumped and turned, he had just started to walk away down the hall when Evie had come from her room.Crap... I had to snoop in another telepath's head... Homany thought then quickly threw up a full mind block. He and Tally were practically contained within' an igloo.

Swallowing hard he began to speak. "I'm so sorry! I was really just passing by but then... when I tapped your mind... well you seemed so sad. I had to know why." His cheeks flushed pink and Tally finally stirred as his roiling emotions, fear, embarassment, contrition, rolled over her. What've you done now you moron?

Evalign

Evie's eyes narrowed, she hated when other telepaths were around. She could hear ans see then going thourgh her thoughts and memories and it irritated her greatly. "Well fight your curiousities. It's rude to knowingly prod someones mind for information." She raised and eyebrow at the slight male tone of the girl. "But, thank you for your concern. I take it you are the other, correct, Homany?" She remember the name from when she first detected the snoop. Michi came forth and poked Tally's head in curiousity. "Your a telerplath like Evie?" The way she said the name wrong was adorable and Evie couldnt help but smiled. Yes he is Michi.

Regaining his composure, Homany's flirtatious side came out. He smiled graciously at Evie while at the same time upping the strength of his mental block a tiny bit, just in case. "I'm more sorry than you can imagine. I'm a cat and one day my curiousity will kill me." He bowed low making Tally groan. Stop acting stupid and make a quick retreat. If you don't, she'll probably end up calling whatever police are around here and getting us kicked the hell out! Tally commanded. Homany rolled his eyes. "And yes. I am Homany: other and friend of Talula. And as for that, hello Michi! In fact, I am a 'telerpath'. I bet I could read your mind." He grinned at her funnily and waggled his eyebrows. He'd picked up from Evie that she was young and since he'd had little experience with little ones, especially little girls, this was the best he knew how to act.
