Well, on TLC right now is the last six months.
Of Shiloh Pepin's life. The only surviving (well not anymore I guess) person with mermaid syndrome (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirenomelia ) that didn't have their legs separated. She died in October.
I just wondered:
How many of you actually know who I'm talking about
Do you think she made a good/bad decision on not getting her legs separated?
What would you have done in her position?
What do you know/think about mermaid syndrome in general?
I started crying during the TLC special (and looking at her facebook page)
She was strong even though her life, compared to (most of) ours, sucked hairy monkey balls.
Anyway, what do you think about all of this?
(And yes I know I cry too easily.)
I think I'm gonna cry again now that they're showing clips of the funeral.
