Ava laid on the bed. Covering herself with the light sheet. She leaned up seeing the view out of a their large window. It was mars, small but still noticeable. She looked over to her sleeping man. He was still breathing heavily. Ava moved a bit closer to him. "Mars is out the window love"

Kiro nodded when they arrived at his mech. It looked exactly the same as it did from the description, and since he spent hours upon hours studying and memorizing it, he practically knew exactly what was needed for the mech. He walked over to the mech, running a hand across the sleek metal, feeling the cold metal beneath his skin. The mech was hunched over, sitting on one knee, with a hand on the ground. Kiro stepped up, onto the hand and climbed up the arm, opening a hatch behind the mechs head once he got to it's shoulder. He climbed into the seat, closed the hatch, and inserted the key into it's slot, resulting in everything inside the mechs cock pit lighting up. The mech stood up when he made the right movements with the controls and activated the speaker system,"So, where am I supposed to take this thing out for a practice run at?"

Shaun got up and looked out the window. He saw mars and it was a sight to behold. He put an arm around Ava and kissed her on the cheek. "Being with you has made me the happiest I have ever been." The phone in their room rang and Shaun answerd it. "Hello? What, When?"

Elsa watched him get into his mech. She could tell he was completely new at it, even though he did know what he was doing. Elsa moved around a bit. Watching it move as he moved. She waited a bit to allow him to get used to it as she put a headset on to be able to speak with him. "Just outside" Elsa told him starting to turn and walked towards a large set of double doors. She pressed a few button's on the keypad and they opened. Revealing a small coarse. "Right out here. Just walked around the track a few times to get used to moving" There were jumps set up around the track. Along with a few other surprises...

Before Ava could talk back, the phone rang. She looked to the time. "It is so late..." She said morely to herself as Shaun answered it. He expression changed as he did.

Kiro groaned when he saw the track,"I thought it'd be a little more difficult than having to run around in a circle and jump over objects." The mech walked through the double doors and over to the track starting position. With a few deep breaths, Kiro ran the mech down the track and jumped over the first object without any problems.

Shaun turned to Ava. "I just got a call from HQ. Empire is attacking one of our power plants, and they need me to lead the reinforcements."

KABOOM!!!!!! There was a loud bang, "What was that?" he exclaimed pathetically.
Soon soldiers from the Empire are coming, he tried to hide on a large boulder. "Men, I'm really doomed!" he said to himself. The soldiers were the Empire's trademark Cyborgs. "Another piece of junk, just as I expected, but i'm greatly outnumbered"
he added. There were hundreds of them, Morbid was watching the cyborgs marching, but then a soldier looked at the boulder then started firing at it. "Damn, I've been spotted", he suddenly jumped from the boulder and ran. The other cyborgs seeing Morbid started chasing him and firing their guns." Damn! There is only one way to finish this things" after saying this there was a large boom...

Elsa did not say anything until he got to the track. She then watched him get ready. "Be on your guard" Elsa warned him. She watched him start to run. Everything was running smooth. But just as the mech jumped, she noticed something. One of it's springs were acting up again. Not enough to mess him up though. As Kiro started to land though, the sounds of a bomb would echo into his mech. Nothing to worry about though. It was only to scare him.

Ava frowned a bit. Shaun never really had a break. He was one of the best though. Still, one week was never too much to ask for. "Alright love.. I understand" She told him, resting against him.

Kiro stopped the mech in mid pace when he heard the bomb dropping. He looked up and saw that the sky was still clear as day and the sensors didn't detect anything. He looked over at Elsa, scowling from inside the mech,"You suck." With that, he turned back to the track and took off running again, ready for any more surprises. This time he wasn't going to let her catch him off guard.

Elsa started to to laugh. It was important to be ready when on the field. It was common sense. It did not mean Elsa could not have fun at the same time. The rest of the track was not as easy though. Breaking land, guns, and even sensors that when triggered, they would turn the mech right off. It all counted on Kiro being able to detect them on his monitors while keeping his pace up.

As Kiro continued down the tracks, a small, red dot started to flash on his radar. When he turned his mech towards the red dot, a turret came out of a metal pod that was buried in the ground. He remembered reading somewhere in the manual that a shield could be generated from the left forearm of the mech. As he found the controls to activate it, the turret opened fire on him and he got the shield in front of him, just in time to block the bullets. The shield would soon start to deplete in power if he didn't to something, and soon. He pulled up the 3-D imaging of the mech and went over it's offensive and defensive abilities, then noticed it had a small machine gun inside of the right forearm. After fumbling with the controls, he finally got the machine gun out, targeted the turret and shot it. He deactivated the shield and was running down the track once more.

Elsa found herself a seat on a nearby bench. She listened to his random talking to himself. Probably forgetting she could hear him. No matter though. She got nervous as he kept his shield out. His mech was not really much of a tank. Elsa started to lean up as the second droned on. About to say something to him, he whipped a machine gun out, shooting the turret. She let her breath go, slouching back on her seat.

As Kiro ran his mech down the track, keeping a close eye on his radar, he spoke,"How many more surprises am I supposed to be expect- Wah!" Before he could even finish his sentence, a trap door opened up from under him. He was quick enough to get the mech to grab hold of the ledge. He was panting heavily inside the small control pit for the mech,'Is she trying to kill me or does she do this to every new guy?' He pulled himself out of the hole and on to the ground. His mech, without the proper upgrades, wasn't meant to fly or hover, just jump extremely high. He was about half way around the track at this point. Sighing, once more, he continued to run the rest of the way.

Shaun put his hand on Ava's face. "I'll be back in one piece, don't worry." He kissed her deeply. "I love you" Shaun said as he got dressed and headed out the door. Soon he was on a shuttle headed for HQ to be loaded into his mech.

Elsa just kept laughing. "Do better!... jeez" Elsa edges him on. He was not going to be too happy when he found out this was only the beginning level. Most of the bullets were not even real. Just rubber for now. He fell into a hole, grabbing the ledge and pulling himself out. The next trap would be a flash grenade followed by a mech shut down if he did not watch carefully. If his mech shut down, the track was over and would be reset for the next person. Elsa watched him carefully.

Ava nodded at Shaun. Leaning up to watch him move around the room. She wanted to ask him when he would return, but decided against it. He kissed her, touching her face. "I love you too.. I'll be waiting for you" Ava told him.

Shaun arrived at HQ. He suited up and got in his mech. He and the squad were flown staight to the power plant. When they arrived, the Helicarrier was hit, and all the mechs were dropped with an earth shaking thud. Shaun was instantly under heavy fire, and launched a salvo of rockets at the enemy mechs. "Some honeymoon this turned out to be" Shaun thought to himself.

After Shaun had left, Ava could not get back to sleep. Tossing and turning in the large bed. Her mind raced of worry for her husband. The thought made her sick. Forcing her to get up and vomit. Her stomach was killing her now. "Calm down Ava" She told herself laying back down. Feeling better. She did fall asleep after a while, But the next morning she got sick again. Knowing Shaun would be in battle at that moment. Ava called his room back at the base. Not getting an answer, thought it was expected. She got dressed in a set of casual clothes and went to see the hospital doctor.

Shaun sniped two of the enemy mechs with his 105mm gun, taking them out. He fired long range missles and took out three more. Ground troops in tanks attacked him, but Shaun tooke them out with acombination of his gernade launcher, flamethrower, and 30mm cannon. All the other mechs were destroyed by the rest of Shauns squad, while the others retreated. The squad celebrated while shaun radioed in. "HQ this is Worthington. We have saved the base. Tell my wife I'm coming h-" A fallen enemy mech was able to get up and fire one last missle, hitting Shaun's cockpit.

Ava was in the doctors office getting some very... surprising results. His phone began to ring though, a grave look shot over his face. "Miss Worthington... your husband had an accident" and with that Ava got right up and headed out. She was on the next shuttle. The hotel staff told her they would send their stuff later that day. Ava's heart was beating fast as she starred forward.

Shaun was rushed to the E.R. He had sustained grave damage to the right side of his body. The Doctors had to amputate his right arm, and his right eye was just gone. They would both be replaced with robotics, but for now Shaun needed rest.

Ava arrived after a few long hours. He had been just taken out of surgery. The nurse would not tell her what happened, though after some enraged yelling, she got her information. He was alive though. That was all that mattered. Ava was sitting next to Shaun, holding his left hand. Playing with his wedding ring a bit. Worry filled her form as Ava laid her head down on his arm. Kissing it.

Shaun awoke, unable to see out of his rigt eye. He looked over and saw Ava. At that point nothing else matterd. Shaun smiled. "Hey babe. orry for the lousy honeymoon" he said with a laugh. Shaun looked over and saw that his right arm was gone. He cursed under his breath, then turned back to Ava. "I guess I wasn't able to come back in one piece" Shaunsaid with a laugh.

Ava smiled as he woke up. She leaned over and kissed him lightly on the lips. "You worried me Love. I am so happy your awake" She whispered to him. "They are making your a robot arm and eye. You will get to pick the material." Ava told him, ho;ding his hand tight. She wanted to tell him her news, but it could wait for now.

As Kiro ran the mech around the track, he heard something click from under him. About four flash grenades sprung up from the ground,"Not this time!" He pulled the sword, on the mechs back, out of it's place and swung the blunt end of it horizontally. He hit the flash grenades and sent them flying towards Elsa,'Oh boy, I hope those don't hurt her.' Before he even realized it, he was running back down the track.

Shaun held Ava's hand tightly. "My eye and arm don't mean anything. All that matters is that I have you." Shaun noticed that Ava clearly had something on her mind. "Ava, you looked troubled. Is there something you want to tell me?"
