"How about we try out the VR visiors? Maybe have ourselves on some sunny beach?"

"Alright Sweetheart" Ava said with a smile. She hoped that one day they would be able to get a real vacation. Instead of being called by the military every time. Ava knew they needed Shaun though.

Shaun went over to a desk and grabbed a pair of visors. Shaun put his on and activated it, and he found himself on a virtual beach.

Ava put her pair on. Flicking on the switch. She was on the beach with Shaun. Only, she was not pregnant. No pains and she was able to move around. Ava turned to Shaun, "This is wonderful"

"It is isn't?" Shaun took Ava by the hand and ran with her to the water, playfuly splashing her.

Ava ran with him into the warm water. Funny thing was, Ava had never really been to a beach. Or at least a real one. The city she grew up in was on a dirty harbor. Warning signs were everywhere to not go into the water. People got sick when they did. Ava splashed him back, even loosing her footing and falling back into the water. Laughing as she was soaked.

Shaun swam next to Ava, and emraced her in his arms. "Pretty amazing isn't it?"

"It is. We have to take the kids-" She cut herself off, feeling a sudden rush of pain through her body. Ava took the virtual reality glasses off, disappearing from the beach. She gripped Shaun's hand, "Its time" She said between breaths as sweat started to form on her forehead.

Shaun got up and rushed to the phone. Soon, Ava was on a strecher, being rushed into a delievry room. Shaun kept holding her hand.

Ava was put into a waiting room. The doctor told her she still was not close enough to began, but it would be soon. She was given some pain killers, but every now and then she would still cringe and squeeze Shaun's hand. She squeezed Shaun's hand hard before laying back, breathing slowly. "That was a good one" She spoke between breaths.

Fortunately, Ava was squeezing Shauns's artifical hand. "Just breath honey, it will all be over soon."

"You sound worried" Ava said turning her head to him. Reading his face. She did keep her breathing up though. Nice and deep

"I just want you and the babies to be ok, that's all" Shaun said as he brushed Ava's hair out of her face.

Ava kissed his hand as it came by her face. The doctor came in to check on her. Shaun and Ava were then moved to a delivery room. On the way though, something happened. The entire building started to shake as the red warning lights went off. Warning them of an attack.

"I have to get to the Rex. Evacuate the facility, and make sure my wife stays ok" Shaun bent down and kissed Ava. "I love you, and I will be back." Shaun rushed to the silo and boarded the Rex. He took off and was confronted by hundreds of empire forces.

"In one piece" Ava had a hard time allowing his hand free. She closed her eyes, heard him run and the doctors and nurses converse around her. Another shake ran through the facility. The decided the safest measure would be to take Ava out of there and head towards the closest Union base. Which was just over the mountains. They would depend on Shaun for safety. They gave Ava a shot which would slow down the delivery, and put her to sleep. They then brought her to a small medical ship and got ready to leave. Giving Shaun the information he would need and want to know also.

As soon as Shaun landed on the ground, he was fired apon. He returned fire with his two plasma cannons and rockets. He had to buy the the shuttles time to get away. Shaun radioed the shuttle. "Ava, how are doing?"

"She is doing alright. We put her to sleep and slowed the labor." The doctor told him as their ship started to beep. It was being fired upon by enemy jets. On of the engines was already in the orange.

Shaun saw the jets, and took them out with missles and 30mm cannons. He then spotted two bombers, but took them out with his rail gun. The enemies fire intensified.

The doctor signed in releif as the jets were destroyed. It seemed they would have an easy passage. Just a few hundred more miles and they would be safe. Just then, the right engine was shot out from a loose missile. It sent the small shuttle towards the mountain. The pilot thought fast. Raising the shields to maximum and turning on any working boosters to help slow the shuttle, all while informing Shaun they were going down. The shuttle crashed into the mountain. Taking heavy damage...

"Ava! NO!!!!!!" Shaun launched the Rex into the air, and landed at the crash site. he took a small elevator down to a hatch in in the leg, and ran out toward the shuttle. He pryed open the door and shout for Ava.

Everyone inside the shuttle was alive. Except the pilot who had taken the blunt of the crash. Ava was still asleep, though her breathing was a bit faster now. The doctor was covering her with a blanket from the new cold rushing through the holes in the ship. He looked up as Shaun came in. "Commander, You should be in battle" The doctor said taking a sling from one of the shelves and wrapping his new broken arm. Ava started to open her eyes. Everything was blurry to her at first, "Is Shaun okay?" She asked at first, reaching down to her stomach from under the blanket.

"Get inside the Rex there's a safe room in the mid section, you'll be safe there." Shaun helped Ava and the survivors aboard the Rex. Shaun went back up to the cockpit and saw two enemy helicarriers headed their way. He took them out with two consecutive shots from the sub-zero gun.

As they got into Rex, the babies were on their way. A nurse was able to get Shaun on the intercom to allow him to hear what was going on. As the second helicarrier went down, a baby's cry echoed through the Rex. Along with the Doctor's voice, "It's a boy Shaun... Ava take a short break. Still your little girl to go." Ava nodded at the doctor and laid back on the stretcher, panting hard as she held their baby. "He has your eyes Shaun." She told him.

Shaun smiled. "We have a boy Ava! do you still think we should name him Jason?" Shaun fired his plasma cannons at enemy mechs.
