"yes. Little Jason Worthington" Ava said back to him. Kissing their son on the forehead. The nurse came by to take Jason to allow Ava to ready herself for Sara's entry. This time though, Ava had some complications. Not having enough strength. Sara was born though, but she did not cry. "Why isn't she crying?" Ava started to ask as the doctor worked with the baby. She was blue from the cord being wrapped around her neck. The doctor stood up, about to tell Ava the bad news as she started to breath a bit. Soon leading to a cry.

"Ava? Ava what's going on down there? Is everything ok? Somebody answer me!" Shaun yelled over the intercom.

The Nurse helped Ava lean up so she was able to hold both of their children. She was completely worn out, but she had a smile on her face as she looked down at the twins. "Everything is great Shaun." She told him after a while, "We should send him a picture." Ava said to the doctor. They took a picture of each baby and sent it to Shaun in the cockpit.

Shaun got the picture, and smiled. "They're beautiful Ava. We made some Beautiful babies."

Ava kissed each of them on the forehead. Both of the twins were sleeping happily in her arms. "They really are.." she said softly. Fighting her own exhaustion. She wanted to be awake to see Shaun when they were finally safe.

Shaun activated the rockets and took off as reinforcements arrived. Shaun landed at HQ, and emediatly went down to the safe room. He saw Ava and their twins, Jason and Sara. He went over and held both of them in his arms. He gently spoke to them. "Hi there, I'm your daddy. Welcome to the world."

Ava smiled as Shaun came in. Handing the twins off to him. Ava laid back on the stretcher. Listening to her husband speak with their children. Jason woke first followed by Sara at his voice. The doctor and nurse both left to check into the base and allow the family to have their moment.

Other doctors came to take Ava and the twins to the medical unit. Shaun cleaned up, and went to Ava's room. she was in bed, with the twins in seperate cribs beside her. Shaun sat next to Ava and kissed her. "You had me worried out there."

Ava rolled over to face Shaun as he sat. She found it easier to move without the extra weight. She held onto his real hand, lightly holding it within her own. "What happened out there?" Ava asked him. She had been knocked out after all.

"Your shuttle took of, but was hit by a missle and crashed. You had me scared to death."

Ava just looked at him confused for a second, then remembered being very cold, followed by being told to push. "I'm sorry I scared you." Ava told him while gripping his hands. "We are alright now though. Little Sara had me scared. She was not crying at first."

Shaun looked over to Sara, gently placeing his hand on her face. "She's a survivor, just like her mother and father." Shaun leand down and kissed both Jason and Sara.

Ava rolled onto her back. Following Shaun as he moved around the room. Still, she could not help but to poke her stomach. It was a bit squishy, but nothing a little exercise could not handle. She looked over to see Shaun kissing their children. It brought a smile on her face. There was a knock on the door as Shaun's boss came in. Babies being born in a military base was a rare occasion.

Shaun's boss handed him a cigar, congradulateing him on becomeing a father. Shaun was also told that his family would be located to a houseing facility for militaty famalies.

Ava glared a bit as his boss lit the cigar. Though he did get the hint and put it out. Ava was glad Shaun did not light his and even happier about hearing about the new house they would be getting. The military neighborhoods were always very nice and relaxing. Though very uniform and bland in some of them. "Thank you very much" Ava said to the man as Jason woke up, which in turn made Sara wake also. They both started to cry. Making Ava got right up and go to them. A nurse came in to assist her as the two men spoke. The nurse told Ava that they were hungry and forced the two men out and behind the curtain. The nurse walked out a few minutes later. "Alright Commander. Jason is eating first. She may need some help with Sara. I'll be back in a few minutes." The nurse told him while pulling Shaun's boss out of the room and closing the door.

Shaun came out from behind the curtain. "It's nothing I haven't seen before, trust me" he said to the nurse. He held Sara as Ava held Jason and they feed.

Ava laughed at his comment. She leaned back on the pillows. After the twins ate, Ava thought about going to bed. Even laying back some more. "Come lay with me Shaun" Ava said moving over a bit.

Shaun layed next to Ava. She held Jason, and he held Sara. Shaun smiled and kissed Ava. "I'm so happy to finally have a family, esecialy with you."

"I am also. I never thought I would be so lucky." Ava told him while kissing his cheek.

Shaun leaned closer to Ava. He was the happiest he had ever been.

Jason fell asleep in her arms, as Sara did in Shaun's. Ava got up and put each of them into their little cribs before returning to Shaun. Laying her head on his chest and pulling the blanket up. "You must be tired. Protecting us all today..."

Shaun kissed her cheek. "That's my job. To protect the one's I love." Shaun relaxed, knowing he had earned two weeks R&R because he was a father now.

The nurse came in to check on them and dropped a letter off. Ava opened it when she left to find a bunch of pictures of their new house.

Shaun looked at the photos. "The house is nice, and it has a big backyard. That'll be grat for the kids to play in."

"We will have to get them a swing set when they are bigger." Ava told him still flipping through the pictures. It was a small ranch home. Only it had a second floor built on it with two extra rooms. Not to mention, the military bought them basic furniture already too. Ava yawned after a bit. Putting the photo's down. She looked at the time, finding it only to be 4pm. "Wow.. so early."
