Alex watch the battle from her air carrier high above. She spent alot of money on both this carrier and the mech it housed along with all of it's weaponry and spar parts and armor. With the camo and stealth tech you could'nt see it unless you were right next to it. The only sign of it is the barely audible whisper as it rounded above. The shielding on it would protecf it from most ballistics and energy fire. The armor on the ship itself would prevent similar damage but for a lesser amount of time plus it was fire resistant up to over re-entry temperatures. Her mech was built much the same way except without the 98% invisibility. Her mech is angular with not a single 90º angle anywhere. It was mainly built for recon and scouting but was just as capable in battle.

Shaun sniped one of the enemy mechs, blowing its head off. He opend fire on the others with his 30mm cannon. Shaun radioed HQ. "Mayday, mayday, we are stuck in an ambush. We need backup now!"

Ava heard the mayday go out just as her leg was shot out from underneath her. Sending her mech crashing to the ground unballanced. Ava wacked her head hard against the side of her seat. "Sir! get out of here" She said over the intercom. only her voice could be heard, and even that was a bit fuzzy. The red warning light started to go off inside of her mech.

Alex picked up the transmission on her stealh hangars radio and decided to use this as an opportunity to get paid. She picked up the comm and replied "I got your transmission and I also have you in my sights... I can assist you in 5 minutes... but it'll cost you" she awaits the reply as she presses a few buttons in the cockpit enlarging her view screen to get a feel for the battle.

"Ava, eject and I'll pick you up. Stranger, you help us out of this, then you will get paid." Shaun rushed over to pick up Ava, when an enemy mech charged at him. Shaun used his chainsaw sword to chop it in half.

Ava heard the chopping transmission. She knew the area was heavily radiated. Quickly she covered up. Putting a breathing tool inside of her mouth. She counted to three and ejected. Un strapping herself from the seat and landing. She looked u at her mech, realived it wasn't completely destroyed. She saw Shaun getting attacked by an enemy, only to be cut in half.

Shaun radioed Ava. "Ava, climb in through the emergency hatch in my mechs right heel. Hurry!"

Ava barly heard the message again. The ear shattering sounds of a battle broke through. She did run towards the heel of his leg opening the emenergy hatch, She climbed up the small ladder, closing the hatch behind her. Ava let her breath out. Taking the breather out of her mouth. "Im in Sir." She told him climbing up the ladder

"ok, make your up to the cockpit, it's the most secure here." Shaun fired more rockets at the enemy mechs, destroying one and damageig another.

All of a sudden something dropped into the middle of the battlefield. It was Alex in her mech. She pulled out her beam swords and accelerated so suddenly around the battle field it was leaving dust in her wake as she either cut in half or stabbed enemy mechs in their cockpit.

Ava climbed the few stories up to the cockpit. There was barly any room as it was. With her, it seemed even small. She found a small seat to his right and sat down. Completely out of breath. "That was such a stupid mistake... I'm sorry commander" Ava said watching the girl on the feild.

A union hovercarrier finally arrives. It picks up Shauns mech, with the enemy mechs distracted by Alex. The hover carrier takes shaun and Ava back to base. Shaun turns to look at Ava. "Are you ok?"

Alex heard a retreat order from the troup she was fighting when they did she programmed her air hangar to follow her coordinates from the air from the comp on her mech. With that she headed toward the union base. When she got closer she sent out a hailing frequency to the base.

She nodded. Not looking up at him at him at first. "I am sorry sir." Ava repeated.

"Don't be. No one could have known that was an ambush. You fought valiantly" Shaun said reasureingly. The carriel landed at the base, and Shaun went to deal with Alex.

Ember left her mech to go collect her pay as soon as she parked her mech on the base. She left it and waited by it.

Shaun aproached Ember. "Thanks for saving our tails out there. Union can pay you $500,000."

Ava climb out too. Holding her head. She looked up to see Shaun speaking with the women who had helped them. She seemed to be quiet skilled. Ava wondered where she had come from, but that did not seemed to matter.

Ember spoke to Shaun as she adjusted her top. "I've a better offer... $2,000,000 and you can have my services for a month... this baby isn't cheap on the upkeep... plus you've seen my skills out there... it is worth the cost" She stood there with her arms crossed in front of her chest.

"Deal. We need as many soldiers as we can get." Shaun turnd and walked over to Ava. "Ava, Your being too hard on yourself. No one could have known we were walking into an ambush. Why don't you take some R&R for the next few days?"

She looked up at him. "Its not that. I think I smacked my head during the crash."She said Before hearing his small order, "Yes sir" Ava said turning and heading out of the docking bay and going to her room.

Shaun headed back to his quarters. n his desk was his next assignment. "It can wait" he said to himself. He layed on the bed and tried to relax.

Shaun layed on his bed for awhile. He got up and went over to Ava's quarters. He knocked on her door.

Ava heard the knock and started to get up. She had taken some medicine, and now felt a bit better. She looked out the door to see her commander. She sighed a bit, opening the door. "Good evening Sir. Can I help you?" Ava asked. Leaning against the open door some.
