Shaun pourd the two glasses. "Cheers"

Ava clicked her glass with Shaun. "Cheers" She said with a smile before taking a great big sip.

Shaun also took a sip. He decided to take one more look at note. He picked it up, and noticed a white powder on it. Shaun then had a horrible realization. "Ava, stop drinking!"

She had already taken a sip, but looked at him confused. "Whats wrong?" She asked him. Feeling dizzy suddenly, she dropped the glass.

Shaun grabbed her in his arms. "No no no!" Shaun layed Ava on the couch and called the medics. They arrived and rushed Ava to the hospital. Shaun brought the twins with him.

The doctor came out to see Shaun. He looked to the twins playing first, feeling not too good himself. "Good to see you Sir Worthington." He greeted, holding out his hand. He could tell by the look on his face, Shaun was not in the mood for any of that. "I'll call a nurse to come watch your children. You may see your wife. Please... Keep in mind we are doing everything in our power to help her."

Shaun went to his wifes side. "How are you doing babe?"

Ava was sleeping by the time Shuan came in. Every now and then a part of her body would twitch. The Doctor came in behind Shaun. "I did not want your children to see. You see, the thing she drank is a very old toxin. It messes with her entire nervous system. In fact, we have already had to jump start her heart three time now. No telling what is it doing to her brain. We gave her the anti-toxin, and it should work. But we are not sure what it will do to her Brain."

A look of panic came over Shaun's face. "Will she be alright? What damage has been caused to her brain?"

"Patients in the past have slowed down when it came to their moter skills. Others have even forgotten who important people are to them. She should be waking soon. We will see then sir." The doctor said before leaving the room. Ava started to open her eyes slowly. Allowing them to adjust to the bright light.

Shaun leaned over the bed. "Ava? Are you ok? It's me, Shaun."

Ava blinked a few times. Just stareing at the man in front of her. "Shaun?" she asked him.

"Yes, it's me Shaun. Your husband." Shaun began to get worried.

Ava started to lean up. Holding her head. She looked around very confused. "I have never been married though. What are you saying?!" The heart moninter she was hooked up to started to beep very fast.

"Ava, don't you remember? We fought together in the union, we fell in love and got married, and we had children."

Ava looked at him, she stopped then. Starring into nothingness. Almost like her entire body had just frozen. She blinked a few times, waking up. "What is going on?"

"You've been poisoned. The doctors said you may have some memory loss. But I'm here for you, and so are your little angels" Shaun made a motion to a nurse, who brought in the twins. "These are our twin children, Jason and Sara." Jason looked at Ava and said "Momma."

Ava looked at the children and smiled. "I believe you Sir Shaun. I just don't know what to think of it.."

Shaun went over and kissed Ava. "You don't have to call me sir. Shaun or honey will do just fine." Shaun picked up the twins, and handed them to Ava. "I think they want their mommy."

Ava held the two babies in her arms. Looking at each one. The machines behind her started to calm down. "They have your eyes..." She said looking back to Shaun.

"And your smile" Shaun placed his hand on Ava's head. "Is there anything you remember?"

Ava looked to Shaun. "I just joined the military. Yesterday I believe. That is all" She told him.

Shaun lowerd his head. He tried to cry, but he couldn't. "So you don't remember all of our battles? Our wedding? Giving birth to our children? Me being a cyborg?"

Ava only shook her head. Looking back to the children. All of this made no sense to her.... but somehow it felt right to be with Shaun and the babies. "I am sorry..."

Shaun put his head on the wall, and closed his eyes. He was silent for a moment, then he turned back to Ava. "No matter what it takes, I will get you your memory back. That is a promise!" Shaun went out and found the doctor. "Is there any form of treatment can can bring my wife's memory back?"
