"We can't." They said briefly.

"why not?" he asked as he looked at htem.

"The boss will hit us if we leave before our shift. He knows our houses." Ariana said softly. "Mines over but Adri's started." She said

Shay smiled at them, "you just leave him to me, You two just head to the car." he said as he looked at them.

Ariana kissed Shay softly on the lips. Then she and Adri headed out to Shay's car.

Shay smiled as he watched them head out and then saw the boss come over to him. Without hesitating he bit the mans neck and drank deeply, to the point that he was almost dead.

The boss screamed. "Ariana my slut of a daughter." He said to Shay before he died.

Shay smiled and whipped his mouth, "sorry, not your daughter anymore." he said as he looked at him and then headed out to the car and hopped into the drivers seat. "he said that it was okay for you to go." he said with a smile.

Ariana leaned over. "You killed my father?" She whispered in Shay's ear, her breath caressing his neck.

Shay turned and looked at her, "let me ask you something. Was he really your father, someone who loved you and cared for you or just someone who wore the title and didn't treat right or cared for you at all?" he asked and then drove away from that place.

"He didnt care for me but still." Ariana said as she looked out the window. "Ari whats going on?" Adriana asked softly. "Nothing love.' Ariana replied with a smile. Her neck was exposed. I wonder if my father's blood tasted like mine. Ariana thought curiously. She stole a glance at Shay.

Shay stared straight away and continued down the road. He didn't look at Ariana for he would want to feed again and he didn't want to. He had already drank enought but her blood was something else.

Ariana stole another glance at Shay. "He's hot." Adriana whispered.

((yes I would like shay to be able to read minds but he dosen't like to show it. But I was thinking hte exact same thing with the condo))

Shay finally stoped when he got to a house that looked big enough to be a castle. "welcome home." he said as he smiled at them but kept his fangs hidden. You could see the ocean in the back of the house and it looked liek something only people could dream of.

Ariana and Adriana's mouth hung opened. "Y-you live here?" Ariana asked as she stepped out of the car. Adriana didnt say anything.

Shay chuckled seeing there faces, "yes and no, this is just one of my many houses that I have gained over the years"

Ariana closed her mouth. "Over the years? how long are we talking?" She asked her hands under her breasts

Shay smiled at her, "I like to say that I am 22 since that is how old I look but in truth I am around 156 years old." he said as he looked at her.

"Wow, why am I not surprised?" She asked sarcastically. Ariana smiled and headed into the living room. Her hair bounced.

Shay laughed, "now how about if you come inside, you can pick out your rooms and get settled in." he said as he walked into the house.

Ariana looked at Adriana. "I'm living in a house with a vampire. What the hell is wrong with this picture? He's a hot detective, I'm a stripper." Ari whispered softly. Adri laughed. "I think he can here you." Adri whispered.

Shay laughed and walked into the kitchen, "yes, I can hear you. What kind of vampire would I be if I couldn't." he said and walked ot the fridge and pulled out a thing of blood.

Ariana shivered. "You think you could not do that when I'm in the room?" She asked as she went up the stairs. "You care what rooms we choose?" Ari asked.

Shay shook his head, "no, you cant choose which ever room you wont but not the room witht the red door. that is my personal room." he said as he looked over at them.

"Red and a vampire....interesting." Ari said as she walked the hallway. She saw the red door. She touched it curious. She was assualted by images. Mostly of Shay and her, but some of Shay's past lovers. She blushed and walked away. She chose the room next to his. Somehow she really didn't want Shay knowing about her gift. Adrianna chose the room across from Ari. They whispered to each other.
