Neferhenta shrugged. "To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about everything that's going on with the Signer buisness either." She said, handing Aoi's phone back to her.

"Somebody help!"
Aka turned her head around to see Ashleigh glowing black.
"Um, is it me or is something wrong with her?" she asked.

"Got that right," Neferhenta said. She was beside Ashleigh immediately and had her hand over the woman's brown with her eyes closed.

"Let me go!" Ashleigh creid as Yusei grabbed her by the waist, "I don't want to go!"
"I don't really care, you're coming with me and that's final" Yusei replied coldly.

"What's going on?" Aka asked.

"Somebody's trying to gain control of her." Neferhenta replied, keeping her eyes closed. "Aka, I'm going to need to use you as a ground to keep a bas in this world. I'm going in to see what the problem is."

She created a mental link with Aka, before plunging her mind into Ashleigh's psyche. Immedeatly she was met with the malevolent presence.

"Oi! What the hell're you doing to her?!" Nefe demanded.

"Nefe! Help me!" Ashleigh screamed, "My powers are down and I can't use them!"

"On it," Neverhenta said, throwing her arms up in front of her. "I summon you, my ka. Wingweaver!"

Her lavendar aura flared up, and a fairy with six feathered wings and wearing a robe materialized from her aura. "Send this presence back from whence it came!"

Wingweaver flew at the presence and attacked him. Nefe kept her aura up in case of retaliation.

Yusei turned and held Ashleigh up as a shield.
"You dare and the girl will pay the price" he said with a wicked grin.

"No, she won't." Nefe replied. She stepped to the side, and was directly behind 'Yusei' in an instant. "And don't bother using her as a sheild. It won't do you any good." She did a swift chop to the base of 'Yusei's' neck, causing him to crumple to the ground, releasing. Ashleigh.

"You all right?" Nefe asked the girl. Behind her, 'Yusei' was picking himself up off the ground.

Ashleigh nodded then noticed the man getting up.
"Yusei at 5 o'clock" she said.

"So that's his name?" Neferhenta said, whirling around and landing a punch in Yusei's face. He blocked her fist with one hand and held it still.

"Is he usually this big of an ass?"

"No but something has changed about him, but what?" Ashleigh replied.

Nefe could see his aura. "His aura looks like its natural color, but it's been tainted somehow." She replied. However, she wasn't paying attention and Yusei threw her to the side.

"Pathetic," He spat, advancing upon Ashleigh once more. Wingweaver stood in his way. "What?!"

"Please, did you really think I'd be that easy to beat?" Nefe asked. She was standing with her lavendar aura alight and had her arm out in front of her. "I am Neferhenta, daughter of the pharaoh Atem. And right now, one pissed chick."

Wow, she does learn quick Ashleigh thought.
"His mark is stained red. Don't tell me that he got turned over to their side" she said.

"Mark?" Neferhenta asked. "You mean the one on his face?"

She didn't have time to wait for the answer. She was forced to dodge as Yusei attacked. Neferhenta swiped her hand in front of her, solidifying her aura around her hands into a set of lavendar gauntlets and a long, curved sword. Another attack; she parried. A fient to the side; she retaliated with another, sending the young man flying.

"I wish I was stronger, then I won't be attacked like this" Ashleigh said, "Even when my powers evolved, I'm not strong enough to fight him off."

Yusei came at Neferhenta again. Neferhenta blocked with her sword, then slashed across his chest with it. Blood spewed from the wound. He stumbled back, only to recieve another strike from Wingweaver.

"Tch," he growled. "I guess I'd better wait to make my move. I'll be back soon enough, and neither of you will stand in my way."

His astral body dissapated, and the sword and gauntlets covering Nefe's hands dissintagrated as she dissmissed her ka and let her aura go back to normal. "You all right, Ashleigh?" Neferhenta asked.

"I'm alright thanks. They're even trying to get me in my sleep" Ashleigh replied.

Neferhenta concentrated her auric power in her fingertips and made several markings in the air, all in heiroglyphics. Each series of sigils went to a seperate corner of Ashleigh's soul room. "That should be enough protection, for now." She said. "It's a protection spell that I used during the time I was stuck in the Star's Puzzle. Simple, but powerful."

"Nice! You are truly inherited you dad's magic genes" Ashleigh exclaimed.

Neferhenta smiled. "Of course I did," She said. "My father may not want to admit it, but the Ankh family has nearly as much power as the Ishtars when it comes to magic, even though most of it may be untapped. Believe me when I say that Uncle Mahado has better control over the full range of his power than my father or I do."

"And can you tell me why you call Mahado Uncle?" Ashleigh asked.

"A holdover from when I was little, I guess. He and my father were close enough to be considered brothers." Neferhenta replied. "Anyway, do you think you'll be all right now?"

"Umm....after I answer this question. Where are we?" Ashleigh asked.

"In your soul room." Neferhenta replied. "It's the place where your soul resides. A person's soul room is where their deepest hopes, dreams, aspirations, as well as their darkest fears and desires can be found. It's a true reflection of who a person truely is." She looked around. "Judging by this, I can tell that you're a pretty bright person, correct?"
