"it's Johan. He lost his duel to Yusei and now is playing a shadow game" Fubuki replied.

Atem ran outside when Melhana just was about to get into the door.
"Melhana! I got some news which will disturb you and Nefe" he said.

Sora froze. "No way," She said. "Now I know why Judai was pissed. I'll go and check on him."

Judai grabbed Sora's arm as she started down the hall. "You can't go in there. According to Fubuki-san, nobody can." He whispered.

Sora stared at him. And you desperately want to help him out, too. I can feel it. She thought. It was one of the things that came with being twins; they could sense what the other was feeling. Right now, Sora was getting a mix of anger, sadness, and despiration from her brother. I can't believe one of us has already been taken out.

"How bad is it?" She asked.

"What is it?" Melhana asked. Neferhenta appeared in her spirit form as well.

"Father, what's wrong?" Neferhenta asked in concern

"Really bad. According to Ashleigh, he's in a crystal and nobody can help him. The only way to help the victims is to defeat the Leader" Fubuki replied.

"You are still being hunted down Melhana. And he issued that task to me. He wants to try and turn you again. What's worse, Judai is Yusei's target, and the third person in the group is issued to kill Selena when she's Sakura" Atem replied, "Plus they still want Ashleigh for her power."

"Damn," Sora grumbled. "Judai, promise me you won't get in any trouble. I wouldn't be able to stand it if you were lost again."

Judai nodded. "I won't," He assured her.

"Shit," Melhana swore. "Thanks for the heads-up. Once this tournament is over, we're getting you out of there."

"I just hope I can last that long. They found out that Selena bretrayed them so because of that, she's on their hunting list!" Atem said, "Things are NOT looking up for us that's for sure."

"I just hope that it's just that simple" Fubuki said coldly.

"You and me both," Melhana said. "Well, we've been in worse situations, right?" With this she shot a cocky smile.

Neferhenta sighed. "You're the same as father..." she groaned.

Judai smiled and put his hands on his hips. "C'mon, you guys should know by now that I'm tougher than that."

Sora knew he was faking. So, she decided to take him down off his high horse before his head swelled too badly. "Yeah. says the guy who started screaming like a girl at 4am when a spider landed on his face." She deadpanned. "Tough...sure....Tough as an eight-year-old."

"Sora!" Judai protested.

Fubuki smirked and trying not to laugh.

"You tell me" Atem said, sighing, "and to carry out that order of capturing you is......." then he trailed off.

"It's not funny!" Judai protested, pointing at Fubuki.

Melhana nodded. "I know," She said grimly. She looked to the sky. "I'm not going over to their side."

"There is one way we can do this. We follow their plans, I sneak out, qucik change and then attack full out, causeing a distraction. But there is no garentee that it will work" Atem said.

"It's the only plan we've got though." Melhana said.

"Actually, it's not." Neferhenta said. "I...I could go in Melhana's place."

"I forbid you to do it Nefe and that's an order. If this falls through, not only that they have me, they also have you too. And to tell you the truth, what I found out, I was half turned. If I successfully full my mission, I be fully turned. I don't want to be responsible for this deed" Atem said. Then it occured to him.
"I don't have to do it. I didn't really accept the mission. I can opt out! Why didn't it occur to me earlier?"

"Because you're dense." Neferhenta and Melhana said in unison.

"I knew you will say that" Atem said.

"Well, you are." Melhana said. Then she turned to Neferhenta. "You sure you're related to him?"

"Well, considering how he managed to be an annoying dad even though his was pharaoh, I'd have to say yes." Neferhenta said. "That, and Aneun was freaking demented. But, I think that's just because I pushed him out of a tree when he was little and it screwed with his brain a bit."

The next next day was the woman's qualifiers, quarter and semi finals. Anzu, as Madame Butterfly, passed all her rounds. The next day however, was theme day. The theme was Halloween, perfect for the concert that night. As was done, the first duelists that was paired was Yusei and Judai. And like before, Aki knew it would be tragic.

The opening was done by Kasanagi. She was wearing another kimono dress, only this one looked more like it was out of a Halloween movie. The sleeves were attached to the kimono-style dress with thick threads, showing her shoulders; the under half of it looked like a shortened and stylized kimono dress that was blood red in color, and a lightweight, black, cobweb-patterned fabric was over top of it. It was cinched at the waist with a leather obi belt, with a thinner, blood red ribbon making the bow in back. She was wearing heavy goth boots that gleamed in the sunlight, and her stockings were fishnets that had been purposfully torn in places to completely the horror-movie look. Her hair was spiked up all over her head and the tips dyed bright red, and she was wearing dark makeup, even with black lines down her cheeks that looked like either running mascara or tar-black tears. She had on fake black nails that were pointed like claws. Time to blow everyone's minds, She thought as Aka stepped up next to her for the duet.

Aka was wearing a halloween bat kind of dress with a mix of blue, yellow (mostly) and blood red. She held a mic in her hand which has a nice bat accessory attached to it. She gave a nod to Kasanagi to start.

Kasanagi and Aka took turns with the intro, then Kasanagi started in on her verse.

Aka went straight into the bridge

Kasanagi started into the last verse, which was sung by the both of them:

As the music faded to a close, both girls bowed in unison and exited the stage, allowing the duels to begin!

"After the duels, let the nightmares commence" Aka said, clicking her fingers, and changing back to her casual.

The announcer gave the signal to start.

"I'll go first." Judai said, drawing his first card. "I play Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode and two cards face-down to end my turn."

"My move then." Yusei said, drawing his first card. "I'll play one card in face-down defense mode and one face-down to end."

Like last time, Aki didn't watch the duel. She was in the lounge brawling her eyes out. She told the others what Yusei said to tell them. She knew it was too late. There was nothing they can do to save Yusei now.
