"Do you think that it's the best move for Jonouchi to take?" Yana asked.

Selena shrugged. "He must have something in mind." She typed.

Yugi drew. Jonouchi's planning something, that much I can tell. He thought. There's no other reason that he'd leave his Flame Swordsman in attack mode. He smiled when he saw that he'd drawn his Dark Magician. Nice! I can't summon him yet though, so...

"I play a card face-down and attack your Flame Swordsman with my Arcana Knight Joker!" Yugi announced. Jonouchi activated the first of his two face-downs.

"I activate the spell Block Attack!" He said.

"Then I counter with Joker's effect. I discard a spell from my hand to negate your spell's effect!" Yugi countered. Again, Jonouchi was ready.

"Then I activate the trap card Negate Attack!" Jonouchi said, flipping his second face-down face-up. Yugi frowned. He didn't have any traps in his hand to counter Negate Attack's effect.

"I end my turn." Yugi said.

"That got dad in a predictment" Yana said, "And a quite good one too."

"That it did." Selena typed. "Now to see what Jonouchi does now."

Jonouchi drew. "Heh, just what I needed. I play Graverobber!" He said. "And y'know what? I'd like a peek at that card you just sent to the Graveyard, just to see if I can use it." The creature with the coffin flipped the card, and it turned out to be Card Destruction. "Hah! Sweet, just what I needed! I'm gonna use Graverobber to send both our hands to the Graveyard!"

Jonouchi, what're you planning? Yugi thought, discarding his hand; which meant, his Dark Magician was sent to the grave as well. He drew a new hand, cautious as to what his friend was planning.

Jonouchi smirked. "I'll play Monster Reborn, and I'll use it to revive your Dark Magician." He said. Yugi's eyes widened.

"How'd you know he was in my Graveyard?" Yugi asked as his signature monster appeared on Jonouchi's side of the field.

"The look on your face last turn gave it away." Jonouchi replied. "Well, that, and a wild guess."

Yugi smiled a bit. "I think we know each other too well, if it's that easy for you to read me!" He laughed.

"Yeah, I'll say." Jonouchi replied. "I'll finish up by using Polymerization to fuse Dark Magician and Flam Swordsman to summon Dark Flare Knight!" The warrior and the spellcaster were sent to the Graveyard, only to be replaced by the legendary knight. "I'll finish by setting three face-downs."

"Holy crap! I didn't know that Joey had that in his deck" Atem gasped.
"Yeah, you got that right" Yana agreed.

"That makes three of us." Selena typed. At that moment Melhana showed up with Yukai.

Melhana whistled. "Looks like the duel's at a stalemate." She said.

"So, what did we miss?" Yuaki asked, carefully sitting down.

"Mostly just the lead going back and forth between Jonouchi and Yugi the past several turns." Selena typed. "Yugi got his Arcana Knight Joker out a few turns ago, and Jonouchi's just managed to bring out Dark Flare Knight."

"I never thought Jonouchi can do that! That is a surprise" Yuaki replied.
"I wonder what dad's going to do" Yana said.

"We shall see." Melhana replied.

Yugi drew. Jonouchi managed to pull off a hell of a move there, he thought. He still hasn't attacked my face-down, meaning he's trying to play it safe. "Arcana Knight Joker, attack Jonouchi's Dark Flare Knight!"

"I activate the spell Mist Body!" Jonouchi said. "And I'll go ahead and equip it to my Dark Flare Knight. Now he can't be destroyed by battle, and thanks to his effect I don't take any damage."

"I'll play a face-down and end my turn then." Yugi said.

"Do you think Jonouchi is good with the responsibilities of the world on his shoulders or not" Yana asked.

"I have no idea." Melhana replied. "Though, all the gang has helped save the world."

Jonouchi drew. "I equip Metalmorph to my Dark Flare Knight!" He announced as darkened armor formed on the knight. "You know its effect. I'll have my Knight attack your Arcana knight Joker!"

"I activate my own face-down," Yugi said. "And it should look familiar; Mist Body!"

"You still take damage though." Jonouchi pointed out. (Yugi LP: 2400) "I end."

"But Yugi still has to win though" Atem said, crossing his arms.
"Ok, I see that" Yana replied.

"I doubt Jonouchi's going to make it easy for him though." Melhana pointed out.

Yugi drew. He smiled. "I play Brain Control! By giving up 800 Life Points, I can take control of one of your monsters." he said. "I chose your Dark Flare Knight." (Yugi LP: 1600) The knight switched to Yugi's side of the field, giving him a second monster to attack with. "Dark Flare Knight, attack Jonouchi's Rocket Warrior!"

"I activate my trap--" Jonouchi began, but Yugi countered it.

"I negate your trap with Arcana Knight's effect." He said. Jonouchi's trap was destroyed and Dark Flare Knight's attack went through. "I'll finish off by attacking you directly with Arcana Knight Joker!" (Jonouchi LP: 0)

"And there you have it folks, Yugi Mutou is our victor!" The announcer said. "We'll have a brief intermission, and then the Turbo Duel between Kamikaze Sakura and Jack Atlas!"

"Hey, Jonouchi!" Yugi said. "Great duel!"

"You too, Yugi." Jonouchi replied. "Good luck in the next round!"

"You bet!"

"They have gotten stronger but nothing has changed between them dueling wise. Both of them are always close with in one another. I'm impressed" Atem said, as Sakura got up to get ready for her turbo duel. Kasanagi left already for the next song.
"I agree. Ashleigh's really lucky to have a husband like Yugi. Very strong" Aka said.

"I'll say," Melhana said. She watched as Jack left to prepare for his Turbo Duel. "You're going to have to go all-out you know."

"I know that," Jack replied. "And I'll be the first one to take down one of the Legends." With that he left the room.

"Good luck with that." Melhana said.

"I'll see the day" Yana sighed.
"Now, don't be like that, anything is possible" Yukai said.

"I'm not sure who's going to win, but Jack's going ot be given a run for his money." Melhana said.

Selena was in the garage with her motorcycle, doing a last-minute check-over to make sure it was ready for the duel. This is going to be fun, she thought. Especially since I'm using my new deck....

"The next duel is going to be interesting I can tell you that" Atem said, sighing.

"Yeah, especially if we know Sakura's temper." Melhana replied.

Kasanagi was reapplying the black makup as she waited for her cue. She had on her typical black makeup, as well as a musical-note patterned kimono dress. Unlike the rest of her songs, this one was completely new; Unbreakable Bond. It was a tribute to everything she and her friends had gone through at the Academy, and hopefully a reminder of their unbreakable bond of friendship. When she was finally called on stage, she stepped on and took a deep breath.

"Before I begin," She said. "I'd like to dedicate this song to the entire graduating class of 2010 of Duel Academy, which I am proud to be a part of! If there's one thing I learned in those four years, it's that true friends are the ones who always stick with you." She waited for the crowd to die down before she said her last part. "This is my newest song, Unbreakable Bond, which is a commemoration of that friendship."

Everyone erupted into an appluse.
"That's so beautiful, isn't it Melhana?" Yana asked.

Melhana was grinning like a fool. "She sounds really good singing bilingual, I'll say." She replied. "Hey, I'm gonna go watch this duel in the VIP box in the stands. Wanna come?"

Even the announcer was applauding. Kasanagi bowed and left the stage so the announcer could introduce the duelists. I've gotta hurry and change out if I want to watch the duel. She though. A Legend vs a Signer. This is going to be fun.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" The announcer spoke into the mic, his pompadour bouncing. "Get ready for another high-octane duel, because I'm about to introduce two dueling titans! First, the Master of Faster himself, the King, Jack Atlas!"

Selena watched as Jack sped out onto the track, eliciting cheers from the crowd at seeing his signature Duel Runner. He did a lap, clearly basking in the moment. Oh, you're going to get yourself more than what you're hoping for. She thought. I just hope that you can keep up with my game.

"And his opponent; the undefeatable, living enigma and a living Legend: Kamikaze Sakura!" Once her name was called, Selena kicked her Harley into high gear and sped out onto the track, quickly and easily matching Jack's speed. The familiar and destinctive low rumble of the Harley-Davidson engine roared through the stadium, momentarily silencing the crowd. She pulled up to the starting line with Jack, her cycle idling.

"You really think that little thing can match the Wheel of Fortune?" Jack asked, a laugh in his voice. "Sure, the speed is impressive, but a simple motorcycle that's been outfitted as a Runner isn't going to cut it, Sakura."

Selena typed out a message on her phone and showed it to him. "Oh, just wait." It said. She pocketed the phone again, and knew she wouldn't be able to use it to speak during the duel.

"Hmph." Jack merely muttered, looking ahead.

"Star your engines!" The announcer said uselessly. Just get on with it, moron. Selena thought. "And in 3..." The coundown began. "...2..." "Duel Mode Engaged" The automated computers on both Runners said. "...1..." "Speed World 2 activated" the entire arena became sleek, smooth, and more streamlined as the holographic projectors initiated the field spell's effect. "...GO!!!" The two duelists sped off, heading for the first turn.

"I'm going to take this," Jack said. Just as they hit the turn, Selena caught up and, throwing her weight into the turn and going almost flat to the pavement, passed him for the first turn. She smirked and drew.

I don't have any speed counters yet, she thought. So I'll keep this face-down, and summon this baby. She placed a face-down card and summoned Arcana Force VII-The Chariot. Above it, a card appeared and started turning.

"What the hell?" Jack asked. "That thing's archaic! And what's with the card above it?" Selena pointed to the card, indicating for him to read the effect. "Great. So I get to chose when it stops." Selena nodded in agreement. "All right then; STOP!"

Selena smiled; it had landed upright. She pointed again for him to read the effect. After a few moments, a satisfying "....crap" from Jack. She pointed to him, showing that it was his turn. Yes, after this I'll have enough speed counters for that card. She thought.

"Eh? What do you do in a Turbo Duel?" Yana asked Melhana.
"I was about to say the same thing" Aka said.

"From what I gather, it's playing the game on motorcycles." Melhana replied. "I'm not a Turbo Duelist though. I prefer to keep my motocross and dueling seperate."

Jack drew. "I summon Twin-Sword Marauder in attack mode!" He said, the double-sword-weilding warrior appearing next to his Runner on the field. "I'll also set two cards face-down and end my turn."

"That didn't help" Yana said as Kasanagi walked to the VIP box, "Kasanagi, what's a Turbo Duel?"
