"We need to make plans to take Kaimiri out once and for all. So we need to start after the tornament's over" Atem said, then noticing the look in Yugi's eyes.
I have seen that look once before but this time, it's more serious he thought.
"After the ceromony. I would like all of you to be there" Saharia said, returning the screen back and took a quick glance at the time, "It's my cornation to become the Guardian of Time. Oh crap. I better let Sakura and Yugi to prepare for the final duel. I hope what I told you doesn't make you loose focus" she finished.
"I think that's a good idea" Atem said as everyone left and he sat next to Yugi.
"We will get Ashleigh back. I promise" he said.

Yugi nodded, the look of rage still in his eyes. They had an emerald tint to them, the same color as his aura.

Selena was back in the garage, disconnecting her Duel Disk from her motorcycle. How are we going to get Ashleigh back? That's my question. The young woman thought. She felt a twinge behind her right eye; one that was becoming all too common. And that dream I had...it has to have something to do with the Shards. But why was my right eye bleeding in that dream? Is my Demon Eye evolving?

Atem looked in Yugi's eyes.
"And stop looking like that. You will cause wrinkles that way" he said, trying to make Yugi laugh and failing badly.

A small smile tugged at the corner of Yugi's mouth. He got up. "I need to prepare for my duel against Selena. I doubt she's going to give me an easy time."

"You got that right" Atem said as he got up as well, you know what happens if you loose right?"

Yugi nodded. "All my responisbilities are on Sakura's shoulders." He replied, not knowing who might be listening in on the conversation. He'd noticed that he was more suspicious than he used to be, since Max had put him in charge.

Selena stretched as she got up from checking over her motorcycle. She heard someone stepping up behind her. She turned around, raising her eyebrow. She tyeped a message on her phone and showed it to him; "Mr. Atlas?" she asked.

"I just wanted to congratulate you on winning." Jack replied. "I still can't believe you took me out so easily."

"Compared to the Legends, your skills don't even come close." Selena typed.

"Sakura!" Yana yelled, running towards the woman, "You better hurry, Kasanagi's about to sing her final song!"

A woman was listening in to the convosation, just as he thought, but it wasn't the enemy, that's for sure.
Soon, you won't have to lead the federation she thought, because I'm back. And I would like to know what happened in my absence, concerning my niece. Then she walked down, accidently bumping into Melhana.
"I'm so sorry Melhana. I wasn't looking where I was going" she said. She did sound familiar though and it took Melhana a few seconds to click who it was.

Selena nodded. She bade Jack farewell before setting the alarm on her Harley and following Yana up to the VIP box in the stands.

"Max?" Melhana asked. "I thought you'd been killed when the HQ went into self-destruct!"

"That's what I thought but I was with Ashleigh for a bit. The next thing I knew, I was in a castle. After that I was free to go. I'm as confused as everyone else is" Max replied.

"Is it me or something just happened just now?" Yana asked Selena.

Selena typed out a message on her phone and showed it to Yana. "Jack was congratulating me on winning the duel." It read.

"I'll say." Melhana said. She poked Max in the arm. "You're not a...zombie or anything, right?" She asked.

"No, not that. It seems that somebody has been brung back to life and is now back here with us" Yana said.

"OW!" Max yelped, rubbing her arm, causing Yugi to poke his head around the doorway, "That did hurt!"

"Is it Max, by any chance?" Selena typed.

"Well, that answers my question." Melhana said.

"What question?" Yugi asked, surprised--and a bit glad--to see that Max was back.

"I was asking Max if she was a zombie, since we all saw her dead." Melhana replied.

Yugi sweatdropped. "And that 'ow' was from what...?" he asked.

"I don't know, but we soon find out" Yana said.

"Her poking my arm hard" Max grumbled. Looking by her appearance, Max looked really refreshed and rested. No dark circles was under her eyes at the least.

"Either way, I'm glad you're back." Yugi said in relief. "Things have been going rather...sour."

"Oh? What do you mean by sour?" Max asked curiously, "I hope it doesn't concern my neice."

Yugi and Melhana looked at each other. They both nodded.

A tear slid down Max's face. Then the sad look turned to an furious look.
"Kaimiri will pay for this, mark my words! No one messes with my family and gets away from it!" she growled, "I make sure he gets what he deserves."

Yugi raised his eyebrows and looked to Atem. "She's scarier than you when she's pissed." He said.

"Well, there is the saying 'Hell hath no wrath like that of a woman's scorn.'" Melhana said.

"You tell me Yugi! You better hurry though, The finals are about to start. Melhana, take Max to the VIP box! I meet you there" Atem said.

Melhana nodded. "Right." She motioned to Max. "Yugi and Sakura are dueling each other for the final match." She explained.

Kasanagi was finishing up painting on her black lipstick. Rather than being in a waxy stick form, it was the kind that was more liquid and was painted on. She had a couple of songs to bring in the last round, before she relinquished the stage to the next and last two duelists; Yugi Mutou and Kamikaze Sakura. Five minutes, she thought.

"I see. Who who's the clear favorite out of those two?" Max asked, following Melhana.

Melhana shrugged. "No idea. They're both Legends, after all. And, since they're both my friends, I'm not taking sides in this duel." She replied.

"I see" Max replied, walking up the steps to the VIP box, "I presume that you are planning to get Ashleigh back?"

Yana was the first to spot Max.
"Guys, Max is back! I can't believe it!" she cried.

Selena waved in greeting. She then pointed to her mouth and shook her head, showing that she could no longer speak.

"Good duel Sakura." Melhana said. Selena grinned in response.

Max nodded.
"You going to find a solution?" she asked.
